This is probably why males are becoming increasingly disgusting. You see it on OLD, you see it in porn. The more we become less oppressed, the more they become sicker and sicker with their oppression attempts. Porn is now like a sick outlet as they lose control. OLD is an outlet for them to act despicable, as they can't get away with it in the open anymore.

After my post about other dating subs making me want to cringe, I received a message entitled "all women are meat holes". I didn't read it, just blocked. It's like they really want to advertise how primitive they are 🤮

And then when asked "how is he a good person?" there's....nothing. Or, "he took the garbage out once", "he does the dishes sometimes".

I think it is partly what you have mentioned. But I am starting to think it's also something even worse...I think it's biology. Like they have an insane need to have sex because of the sperm build-up, and so it doesn't matter who it's with sometimes, as long as they get to release it 😬 they aren't like us. We don't need it like they do. That's why I see us as the stronger gender. We aren't slaves to our biology. And they need it so badly, manipulation is like second nature to them, so they can g…

I'm sorry you went through that :( I'm so glad you never let go of the house. It's really hard when you can pretty much predict what will happen to a friend, but they have to go through it themselves to believe what will happen is true.

I saw this awful post from a poor woman on a dating sub. "My love language is words of affirmation. But his is touch. So he says it's fine that he won't ever compliment me". And he refused to ever say anything nice to her. But that's ok. Because his love language is touch.

I'm going to stop reading those subs as of today. The whole second guessing and giving men the benefit of the doubt. Can't deal anymore.

I was the same. We are socialised to not second guess male's intentions, and to think they are simple. We know the truth now ❤️ more power to us 🙌

Exactly! If I see "maybe his love language is touch" one more time!!!. Yes, his love language is sex. "Plan something instead", yes, then he gets to make as little effort as possible, and still gets sex! Thank goodness for FDS. I ❤️ you all here.

I never saw it in this way, and I think you are so right. Why does having equal rights mean being treated like men? Why does equality mean that we adhere to the way they are? Maybe our idea of rights mean things like men need to take classes and learn empathy. Men and women are different. They need to learn to adhere to the way we are also, or it's not equality.

This is all true. And what I realised last week, is that us women are often gifted with amazing intuition. It is for survival. But we are socialised to ignore this intuition and question it, for the benefit of men. Never ignore intuition, it is there to warn us against predators 🙌 let it grow, and ignore most men!

Thank you for this post. I made a post recently about being assertive in a situation that warranted it, and one of the woman especially was not supportive and actually made me feel bad. I realised this week I don't want to be around her again, she uses males to do things for her and doesn't seem to connect the fact that most males expect something in return, especially sexual favours. I can not learn anything from her and there is no value in our friendship. So I will be fading her out.

Thank you so much, this is great advice :) I definitely use too many words, and fall into explaining myself. I think it's because I question afterwards that I did the right thing. I think I need to be firmer in my convictions. And I need to stop saying "I feel". I've noticed recently I do this a lot, and I find that (unfortunately) people, especially males, don't take the word "feel" seriously. I also love the statements, instead of asking questions, simply stating what I want. Thanks again!

Please don't blame yourself and feel down about this, though I know it's hard. You are not alone in feeling like this. I felt I was doing very well, and I literally hadn't been with a male for years. Not too long ago I went out with my girlfriend's and a guy at the bar was over the top interested in me. I gave him death stares, literally flicking him away like he was a pest. He just kept gazing at me. As the night progressed I ended up drinking too much and thought f*CK it, and I took him home. …

Thank you for your supportive message :) I feel I am becoming quite aggressive, and I do hope it evens out eventually. That is exactly what it is, this realisation that I can speak up and protect. Thank you :) sometimes I get critical of myself to the point where I disappoint myself, like I should have left when that woman came. But it's all about learning! And that is so true. I hope in some way I can help some women through my actions, so that they realise they don't have to just think in their head that something is wrong, they can express that it's wrong too!

Yes I see what you mean. Most of the women in that group are fine, I had no idea that the rude woman was coming until suddenly she arrived. In retrospect I should have left earlier when I saw she was attending. They are not my main group of friends, I probably see them once a month or less, and I'm still getting to know some of them. The other night was proof to me that I won't be wasting my small amount of leisure time with some of them. I don't know if they were exactly mad at me, it just kind…

That is so great that you can be naturally who you are where you work. We are socialised to not speak up, and so I'm going to do the opposite of that now. I feel we are socialised to not live a life that is beneficial to us. You're an inspiration 💚

Oh thankyou!! Great tips. I am definitely going to work on my body language. I realised the other day that for years I've had a habit of lowering my eyes in interactions, especially with males. And I love the tip re developing a harsher edge to the voice. I've always been quite a soft slow talker, but I'm working on this, because I hate being talked over!

Walking penises. That's how I see them now. All of those jokes about "men having two heads" and how they can "only think with one at a time", they are all true. Their penis controls them 🤮 they are so hideous.

I agree. I used to meet men and think wow this person is interesting or that man is intelligent, to realise over time there is actually literally nothing of depth underneath. They are always a disappointment, they do not have the power of introspection, and coupled with lack of empathy, they have become walking automatons with penises to me. Maybe one day one will surprise me, but until then I flick them away like mosquitoes.

Males age terribly. All of the years of swilling beer, not wearing sunscreen and basically not giving a f*ck, they look like shit by the time they get to their mid 30's. My age range was mid 30's to early 40's when I used to use OLD and I was disgusted by their appearance 9 times out of 10. I'll be open to meeting a HVM in real life, but never again on OLD, mostly the gross ones are on there.

I just can't believe how focused and obsessed males are with sex. I've read and heard so often that they are driven by sex. What a meaningless pathetic existence. At least they call themselves out through wanting it on the first date. Pathetic.

Because they are men, so they think they are entitled. Even if they are ugly, they still think they can sit back and rate woman. It feeds their ape ego. Makes them feel empowered to sit back and pick apart women, but they know deep down they'll never get a shot.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/02/21 08:01 PM

I have heard often that a large majority of men don't care about what a woman earns. I definitely think certain HVM wouldn't care regarding earnings, but would also be very supportive and cheer their partner on if they are aiming to earn more. I believe you can definitely be a high value women and not earn a lot of money. Many LVM don't care though for different reasons. I think some of it is because they view women as inferior anyway, so they think well of course she'll earn less.

I've found that males in their 40's and beyond criticise me, because they have enjoyed "spreading their seed" in their youth and some small part of their brain thinks "hmm maybe it's time I settle down and impregnate a woman". Whereas I'm like "hmm maybe it's time I focus on just me, and my standards involve a man viewing me as an actual person and not just a bearer of their child".

The part I find hard to get my head around is the not questioning society and their socialisation. Maybe it's because I always question what society is and don't want to be brainwashed. Why can't they do that too? Maybe it's because their socialisation actually benefits them. Whereas with the way women get socialised, it doesn't actually benefit women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/21 02:01 AM

I've been wondering about this..do you think it is society and upbringing that makes them this way? I can't help thinking it's got to do with having a penis, like their urges make them stupid and shallow. It would be better if it was society and upbringing, because that can be rectified, however slowly.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/21 01:18 AM

Haha thank you, I'm glad I was able to do convey with words what they really are. Maybe that is why they didn't even want women to learn in the past, because words are power 🙌 And you have me laughing at the sad truth of it: genetically inferior.

I so agree with this. I was literally just thinking about how this whole protect and provide thing is this mind f*ck that they actually created. We wouldn't even need protection if it wasn't because of them, and we never needed providing for, it's just that they made it so we had no rights to provide for ourselves previously. I'm so glad things are changing, even though its slow. And I don't care one bit that it is affecting men and their identity and masculinity. It's about time they were force…

I feel the same! I would be hurt by those memes. It's like, wouldn't a husband know his wife as a person and know what would cheer her up as an individual? There are also so many traits I dislike in males. I'm not even attracted to masculinity, and find it a bit gross. I like the idea of a sensitive guy who is intelligent and sees beyond the physical.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/21 11:58 PM
13

This is true! I never saw it that way. Well one thing I know for sure, I'd prefer to be alone then become a pick me and join them. We get one chance in this life, unless a male adds value, then there is no point. A relationship with myself is better.

Yes, it's like they are brainless automatons. It's really quite depressing. Especially considering these adult children are in charge of so much in the world. It's hard to see them as any different, when every single one I've come across seems to be the same.

I can't stand it when males say women have it easy on OLD. They always mean it in terms of getting laid. Yes women can get laid easily on OLD, because that's all these males care about. To them having it easy means being able to get sex. But it is not easy at all to meet a man of value who wants more than sex. Why can't they get their heads around that?? I had to let that out, sorry ❤️

The bar is so low re men that even meeting a man that views women as people seems to be rare. There are studies showing that a majority of men see women in terms of their parts eg boobs etc and not as a whole person. A HVM man to me is one that shows all of the traits in this post, and wants to connect mentally, especially on an intellectual level. Is it too much to ask to not be seen as an object made for them? This is why I strongly dislike receiving compliments about my looks from them. Compl…

They say that because they are so "visual" and shallow. Men are always the ones more focused on physical standards, that's why they project and try to say we care about it as much as they do.

I'm so glad you blocked him! 🙌 It's one of two things, using a woman as a free therapist (because male friends don't support each other that way) or trying to trauma bond so you reveal your trauma. I was chatting with a guy the other day who was going on about wanting to find the one, but not wanting the next one to leave him for someone better. I said to him you are not ready to meet anyone, and I'm not a therapist, and I blocked him. Thanks FDS ❤️ I no longer waste my time anymore.

This is so true. And they use the fact that some men invented things as their base for saying men are more intelligent. In reality, if women had equal opportunity from the start then there would be so many more amazing inventions and achievements from women throughout history than there are.

🤦if that were true there'd be a lot less people in the world, as most have no idea how to help a women orgasm during sex. I honestly think that they can't handle that they'll never know what it feels like to be a women, so they like to kid themselves that they know everything about us. They are obsessed, it's like those movies where the male character gets to be a women for a day, and obsessively touches the boobs etc. Pathetic.

Some of it depends on how long you have been seeing each other. To be honest I wouldn't really worry. You really need to take the focus off being worried about what HE thinks. YOU are choosing whether he is good enough for you, not the other way around. I don't know how long you have been seeing each other, but if it hasn't been very long, this is just a word of caution....he might be a great guy, but try to withhold all the deep conversation about family etc. until you really know him. People need to earn that depth. Again, I don't know the full story and how much you have progressed together. …

Throwing these stats around doesn't matter. Just because you state 40 percent of couples meet online, doesn't mean they are great couples. Who knows what their relationships are like? Do the stats reveal they are happy couples? Are the men High Value? I use OLD very sparingly. It's a tiny side thing where there may be a very slight chance there is someone of value on there. But I don't believe it is right at all to make out it's the future and should be a main form of dating.

Yes and what's worse is they often do pretend they have chosen women A, but that women is a "placeholder" until they find someone "better", women B. Because "who gives up the chance to get convenient sex and girlfriend benefits until I can find someone better" says the subhuman ape driven by his penis. That's why it's so important, anyone reading this, to heavily vet them from the start. Their drive is to manipulate to get sex. I read so many stories about women thinking they were the "one" and …

If a LVM man can get sex the cheapest way possible, he'll never offer a dinner date. They see things like this as "what is the least amount of effort I can make in order the get the best outcome for myself (sex)". The great thing is, they are transparent from the start! Urrgh this is awful, poor women. We must never be unpaid counsellors to men, but especially when they have done zero to earn it. They are users who can sap your soul. Forget him. If a guy is wishy washy it will never ever work out. I'll give him a bit of kudos for putting effort in his messages, at least he has the ability to reflect. If a guy is on the fence, then the answer will always be the same. There will never ever be a good outcome, because if they want you and only you they would never risk it by acting unsure. I would ghost. He shouldn't have been asking such questions in the first place, it was none of his business! I've had trouble with asserting myself in the past, I understand. Moving forward I would say "those are very uncomfortable questions, I don't even know you". And then I wouldn't go on a date with them, I'd ghost them. I'd take those questions as disrespectful, and a sign I would never go on a date with them.

Your sleep pattern can be however you want, no one should have control, or try to control it. He's trying to dictate how you sleep, like a father telling off a child! If he is reading this, he needs to know "you will never have success in controlling a women, she is a free human being and can do as she likes".
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/09/20 07:34 AM

I know :( it feels like that. But really, I see it as they are weak in that they can't control it. It is sad, but most men are nothing special anyway. We are highly developed in that we can remove sex from friendships and appreciate connection of the mind. We better :)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/09/20 10:04 PM

There are studies about how men who are attracted to their female friends will always be "chancers", in that they would always take the opportunity to sleep with them if they can. In these studies it was mostly women who were happy to be friends and the men who were governed by their sexual attraction. Another example of how we are emotionally and mentally stronger. I can find the studies if anyone wants to read, or if you google it, it's all online.

You're welcome :) it's great to have withdrawing as a rule of thumb, because often they don't seem to understand normal communication through words. They respond to the fear of losing what they've got. Wishing you well with this new guy!

He sounds great so far, but I would still wait and see before being sure about accepting commitment. They are on their best behaviour at the start until they think they've got you. Three dates isn't long enough to gauge whether he's worthy. As you have more dates over the weeks and it starts to reach to months and his best behaviour mask slips, you yourself might not want him. You are the one who chooses. I'll see what the other lovely ladies say about what to do after two months if commitment i…

Your empathy is a strength. The sad thing is that the way the world works (due to men being in power for so long) is that it doesn't appreciate empathy and sensitivity, because a vast majority of men are not particularly empathetic or sensitive. Hopefully this will change as women gain power. The best way to remain detached in dating, in my opinion, is to learn the hard truths about men, and place your own value above men. To learn these truths, read books like the ones recommend on this site. A…

I remove men from my life who say they want to "see where it goes". They do it to keep you on the hook while they still date other women. Most men will put in the least amount of effort if they can get away with it. Withdraw your attention from him. One of two things will happen. He'll amp up the attention over time and allude to being exclusive, or he'll let it dissipate into nothing. They are like three year olds. They mostly respond when attention is withdrawn. This is so true. Men don't know how to support each other, it's all about competition and ego amongst them. They need women, and often use their wives and partners as a free counsellor to deal with the shitty world that they created.

Have you met him in person? It sounds like he thinks he is being impressive by mentioning all of these pretty words. I would find this too intense and annoying if I hadn't met him in person. If it has been a few dates like 1 or 2 I would think he's trying to impress me to get sex. This is a sit back and observe situation whilst remaining detatched. Will the words become actions is the best strategy. And ask yourself, is he attentive about you as a person or just trying to impress.

If this was a message in which I hadn't met the person yet, then I wouldn't meet them. Men that focus too much on looks (which is most of them) turn me off straight away. I wonder if it is linked with their penis and ego. I know it may sound silly, but I cannot help but link destruction, violence and lack of empathy with that body part, as many are so egotistical over their penis and enjoy porn that is degrading and rough.

I've read a lot of studies on this, and they are all very differing and contradictory. Some say male genetics, some say it's due to socialisation. It makes me sad when I think about how the world for so long has been controlled by men, because it's clear how many many of the issues faced in this world for over centuries are due to their lack of empathy and long term thinking. Their violence and lack of impulse control destroys this beautiful planet. Anyway, that did not help answer your question…

This is why I love this place so much! Not only does it assist in dating methods and throwing LVM into the trashcan, it has actually helped me gain confidence and take care of number one. I'm no longer scared to verbalise my boundaries and live my life for me 😊
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/01/20 09:20 PM

Exactly. One of their fears is "when will the time come that I disappoint her." They really do know deep down that they are not worthy, so they choose someone they perceive as easier. Gosh they are weak.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/12/19 09:12 AM
41

Women talking and sharing their feelings about things with each other are seen as a threat by LVM. Because women build and gather strength from each other. They urge their good friends to leave a man that is bad for them. Also, men are the worst with gossiping. Where I used to work, in an open plan office, they would talk nasty about other colleagues, see new men as a threat. They have such fragile egos. I could really see such territorial animalist behaviour in them. Pathetic.

He's testing, to see if he has to make any effort or not. Personally I wouldn't answer. Eventually he either realises he has to be a proper man and plan something, and messages you with a plan, or he doesn't do anything. It's a wait and see scenario. I wouldn't suggest anything. They always try to see if they can get away with low effort first off.

The thing I would worry about here, is that if he hasn't had much relationship experience, and he's learning from you, then (this may not be the case, but nothing surprises me with how shit they can be) he might learn from you and end up giving himself leverage and confidence to meet more women. And at the same time drain you, while you use your valuable time to teach him, when you could have someone who doesn't need to be guided and taught how to be in a relationship. Ew and what does the man do in this story? Lay around and play with his dick and play video games, while he's being bought beer and food. That are like oversexed animals that just want to have sex, it doesn't matter to them who it is. It boosts their egos and makes them feel good about themselves. I mean, I have seen posts regarding inanimate objects that some of them have sex with, so I don't think they care about who the person is and what they look like. This grosses me out as I'm writing, but there truly are some that are this bad, yuck.

It sounds like he just wants a female to chat with and provide support and an ego boost. I also think he disappeared on purpose, during the time you were meant to meet up. I really like to think it is to cheer a person up when people become more attentive. But I am jaded and this may be wrong, I find that men do this when they are worried about losing somehow. Like if you pull away then they grasp for more attention by messaging more, and selfies etc. When the person is feeling happy and content they feel they are not losing something. This may be completely wrong, but I don't find that there are many men that really naturally empathise and want to cheer a person …

Men are very delusional when it comes to their own looks. So many times have I come across fat unhealthy men with gross habits that sit there and talk about hot women like they could get them. I believe they just think that because they are a man with a penis they are entitled to these women. Like these women were created for them and their pleasure. Even when they can't get them, they are still entitled and deluded about this fantasy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/12/19 07:37 PM

Men are not more rational. It is more rational to express emotions. Men hold them in then turn violent, illogical and abusive. Or they manipulate, neg women and act condescending due to an inferiority complex. This makes them extremely irrational and illogical. All could be avoided if they acted like human beings. And I know society contributes to them holding emotions inward, but if we are strong enough to fight our conditioning, surely some of them can stop being weak too...I would hope anyway…

I went on a date a few weeks ago with a man with the most disgusting dirty nails that were really long. He also wore dirty shoes. He kept messaging me afterwards, and sent me a photo of something he was making in his apartment. The apartment was filthy also. And he wouldn't stop messaging saying he wanted to be my boyfriend. Block!

I think it's them learning what they think are effective tricks, like "hello beautiful" and "hey gorgeous" with low effort date suggestions like a bar near their house or coming over for drinks, to try to get as easy sex as possible while not having to spend money. They all act like this because it's pick up artist crap they think works, they have probably all learnt off each other. They also have a belief that women are sucked in by words. And on top of that a lot of them are very simple with z…

If he wanted more he wouldn't have risked losing you in the first place. Keep remembering how he disappeared for a few weeks. If you give him attention he will get what he wants, disappear, then come back for more when it suits him. Don't let him take up space for the HVM that will see you as the ultimate prize. And also, think about how rude it is to disappear for weeks then make contact like all is normal. How presumptuous to think he can slide back in when he feels like it!

That's great 😄 yes there is an obvious pattern to their behaviour once we begin to notice it. It's kind of sad really, like they aren't individuals, but part of a hive mentality. It's like they all read from same book 😅 I still go on online dating now and then, just to see if one appears that breaks the mold. Though I must say that my care factor has gone down big time, I don't care whether they like me or not, it's if I like them!

I'm glad you found FDS at 18 ♥️ everything is incredibly accurate on here, and it will help guide you away from their manipulative crap and provide inspiration and strength in yourself. I wish I knew a lot of this stuff earlier, but hey it's never too late 😊

Haha exactly. I've come to realise the ones with attractive women are meant to make it look like they can pull hot women, to make them seem desirable. I also overheard a guy saying once "I put pics of cats in my profile because women love that", like they don't actually care about the animals, it's used as bait for women, they're sometimes not even their pets 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/12/19 10:37 PM

We don't want a guy that is a low value insubstantial hot dog on the ground, which is what many of them are. I thank him for pointing out what we don't want.

I don't like to smile at men anyway, if you smile at them they think you want to fuck them. They massively overestimate friendliness as the woman wanting them. Pathetic. Can't even act friendly without them thinking about sex.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/12/19 08:04 PM

Needed this ♥️ I experience a lot of negging and condescension from men. It's one of the only few things from men that really gets to me these days. I wish there was also a block feature in real life, so I could remove them from my vision or blur out their faces 😅
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/12/19 10:05 AM

So true, it's laughable how selfish they are!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/12/19 09:29 AM

And try getting emotional support from them when you're down 🙄 not only do they expect free therapy sessions, but there's no empathy in return.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/12/19 09:23 AM

Same here. And not only is it pics of children, the LVM will use pics with their mum, or ones with cats thinking that the women will go "aww isn't that sweet" so they can lure them in.

Aww poor baby, it's been a long few days... so he attempts to make a woman take up her own valuable time to come comfort him with sex and wine

I know right! And it even happens after you meet them in person. I went on 2 dates with a guy from OLD, he asked me to be his girlfriend through text, and kept saying he "really likes me" etc. I had to block him. He didn't ask me anything about myself, and I don't understand how he could "really like me" after just 2 dates.

Hahahaha!! The next messages would probably be even more illuminating, "oooh" and "ahahaha"

These types of LVM think it's ok to "play the field" because they think they are entitled to as they have a penis and need to fill their pathetic ego, whilst the female has to stay faithful and there for him. Words can't describe how addled their sub human brains are.

I know right! Don't need men to say hello beautiful, we already know we all are. It's so difficult for them to read a profile and ask about hobbies or have intelligent conversation.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/12/19 10:57 PM

When I get "Hi" or "Hello" I block. I know they often send it out to 100's of women at the same time. Pathetic 🙄 they are so transparent.

I honestly think these LVM don't care if they like the girl or not, they are desperate for sex. They just want to check beforehand whether they will get it easily, as they don't want to make any extra effort. I had an epiphany, many of the guys on OLD are hoping it will come as easily as an uber eats delivery.

These types of men will die out over time thankfully, the future will not embrace their backwards thinking.

How sad that men make this an event 🙄 they really need to get a life, so pathetic. It's like they want to prove how sad they are.

It's so funny how they think talking and acting sub human and animalistic is a good thing. They prove how ape-like they are with comments and words like the above. How pathetic they are, thinking getting sex and having someone to cook and clean is like the best thing. The future is becoming much better for women, in fact men like the above are becoming obsolete. They can't handle that, so they become more pathetic.

"Fluent in sarcasm". Everytime I have come across this, they think they are witty and clever, but it's also been an excuse to use put downs and negging as a "joke".

All the women I know think before they act and weigh up the consequences. Most men I know act without thinking and drown any emotions they have in weed and alcohol. Women live longer because they don't take immature risks and are logical.

I had this problem this week on OLD. We chatted on Wednesday, he asked to meet up 7.30pm for Saturday. He didn't message the next day, and on the Friday we had a few jokey messages, no mention of the date. So I assumed it wasn't happening and didn't turn up on the Saturday, never heard from him in the day on Saturday. I don't know if I'm viewing this wrong, but the way I see it, he asked for the date, so I'm not going to check if it's still on, that's down to him. I also think if he was interest…

I really hope there are HVM here! There's something about the Queensland men that makes them worse, like the heat and has addled their brains 😂 sorry you went through that, I do think you have a much better chance in Melbs of coming across one 😊 Thanks goodness for this subreddit!

Absolutely. For so long I assumed people had similar morals to me, arrgh it's a a hard reality hit to realise some people truly have little to no empathy. I am dealing with the aftermath of feeling intense anger towards him on some days, almost like PTSD. It certainly pays to be cold, you are right, its all about protecting ourselves. Thank for for the advice on dealing with narcs too, I am an empath and have attracted a lot of them. This is life changing information for me ♥️

They can't keep up the mask for long hey! It's almost like children having tantrums, definitely try hard masculinity. Unfortunately I wasn't good in those days at reading red flags, and I was with him for 6 years. Thanks to this sub and learning through some bad experiences, I will never go through it again 🙌

Thank you 😊 hahaha you made me laugh with the village idiot comment, that is the best description for most I come across here! I find that they like to neg me and tease to get reactions from me. It seems like a sub human way to get me to like them sometimes, or they are perhaps just plain mean!

Your husband sounds like a wonderful man! I am realising that intellect is even more important than I thought. They say intelligent people are not afraid to be wrong, because they always want to learn 😊 it sounds like he thought a lot about how to make someone happy, and then with you he made that come true! I have been practicing blocking any man that disrespects me and I am becoming better at noticing red flags, thank goodness. And now thanks to your post and what others have written, I am lea…

Thank you for those tips, I will definitely watch out for these things in future interactions with men 😊 I have experienced a lot of "negging" from men, so it is lovely to hear of a man treating women with kindness, and animals and children also 😃

That is so helpful, I definitely need the time alone to assess my standards. I think the worst part of how I've been feeling is the loss of faith in there being actually any HVM. But the replies I've been getting, and what you have written have helped me a lot. I often wondered what it was like in regional areas. You hit the nail regarding their characteristics in Brisbane. It's really enlightening, this realisation that they accept if we force them to measure up to our standards. I just assumed…

He sounds like a lovely man. Thank you for writing this, I see that they do exist, but are rare. He sounds like a very self aware person. I think that is such an important thing. And kindness, altruism. Reading this made me feel happy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/12/19 03:00 AM

It's good to know they exist in Melbourne, even though they are paired up! Because in Queensland they seem to only exist in the imagination 😅

I hear you, I'm 36 and they are like that in this age bracket too! Aw me too, I have become very jaded, those rose coloured glasses have lifted. When I was last I'm Sydney, I noticed some attractive men in the Newtown area, though whether they are HVM I'm not sure! And thank you, I hope we both find unicorns 😄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/12/19 12:56 AM
12

Yay I'm not alone 😄 Urrrgh 4WD! And exactly, scraggly beards, sweaty looking and red faced from constant beer drinking. And there's always drama with exes! On Plenty of Fish I have zero luck, the rare attractive ones chat for a bit then disappear.

It's almost as if their brain is not capable to engage or even understand value! And because they are surrounded with the same thing, they don't have the intelligence to see past it. I like the sound of the place where you live! I'm beginning to see that what I want in many ways will not happen where I am. Not only men, but the overall backwards thinking!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/12/19 12:08 AM

Thank you for the advice :) It has reiterated what I thought may be the case. I have been on online dating, and if I see one more photo of a man holding a beer or the biggest fish he has caught I may just get a one way flight now 😂

I'm in Queensland, they seem to be the worst here!! I would consider moving, once I finish my degree, perhaps to Melbourne. It's good to know I'm not crazy, that someone else knows what they are like here!
