The carecrow - let me introduce you to one of my least favorite types of LVM!I had a friend like this. My life was constantly her being careless, me setting a boundary with her, her getting upset, me taking care of her feelings, her being thankful and “committed to doing better” followed by more careless actions. Rinse and repeat. When I finally cut her off, LIFE GOT SO MUCH SIMPLER. No more anticipating carelessness or emotional outbursts. No more emotional labor for someone that doesn’t return it. And most importantly, no more repeating boundaries and expectations to s… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/02/20 05:46 AM
FDS Newbie, date was sneaky about being soberYeah, that’s true! I didn’t think of it that way. The rest of the date was really good so I think I will give him a pass. Or at least give myself more time to collect data points. Thank you for your insight! I appreciate it. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/01/20 07:49 PM
FDS Newbie, date was sneaky about being soberYeah, you hit the nail on the head. I kept rejecting the skeletons in the closet comment to the point it became a joke because “who wants to know someone’s skeletons on the first date?”. I threw it back in his face. But it’s def a red flag. My mom has been in sobriety for 30+ years. My brother joined her about 10 years ago. It’s something I’m familiar with. But I wouldn’t disclose their reasons for being in sobriety on the first date. I’m glad you brought that up. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/01/20 05:04 PM
FDS Newbie, date was sneaky about being soberHe said alcoholism runs in the family. I’m unclear too to the degree that this impacts him. It sounds like he’s been sober ever since he had the option to be sober. I’ll keep an ear out. Thank you. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/01/20 04:56 PM
FDS Newbie, date was sneaky about being soberI didn’t think about this... you bring up a lot of good point. I thought he was nervous since we changed topics pretty quickly but I didn’t take it one step deeper. Thank you!! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/01/20 04:54 PM
FDS Newbie, date was sneaky about being soberAgreed. And I have no problem with people that don’t drink, I was just caught off guard. His comment about leaving clues along the way made me second guess everything that happened that night. And I may be overthinking this, I just don’t know if this is LVM behavior to skirt the topic then put the responsibility on us on figuring it out. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/01/20 04:50 PM
This is why you never settle!I had no idea that sub existed! Instantly joined haha Thanks for sharing. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/12/19 05:12 AM
Thought you ladies might enjoy this. I can appreciate the honesty when most men would not be so forthcoming with all of this fuckery. Oh, and he is a total smoke show!I’ve never heard MtF before (besides for describing transgender). Is that a FDS term? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 15/12/19 05:08 AM
Girl’s boyfriend says he gets aroused by making her cry. He also physically harms her during sex. Not a single woman from RPW is telling her she’s in an abusive relationship.I had no idea that subreddit even existed. Their post history is full of women who don’t their power. Yikes. And that particular post from their reddit is double yikes. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/11/19 09:34 PM
