Why does it push your buttons? Where did I brag about my numbers? I would've been way better off on my diet and exercise without pot. That is the point.

Sir, I respect your service and I understand what you mean. I did not mean to brag about my numbers, which are nothing special. Rather, I would have been much better possibly if I had not been under the influence. I am not advocating for reefer madness, simply cautious use/mindful usage, however you would like to put it. All the best.

So first of all: I love it, everyone should have access to it. I don't hate it or anything. I'll probably even smoke it after a long break at a party if someone passes it. But say what you want brother, the truth you said about the effects of abuse are true. That's all I meant to raise. Let's be cautious in our use. The entire reason if you read till the end of the post, of providing reflection guides, is so users can do their own homework. And your responses to people disagreeing with you show …

Yeah man, I'm all for legal advocacy. I love it, everyone should have access to it. I don't hate it or anything. I'll probably even smoke it after a long break at a party if someone passes it. But say what you want brother, the truth you said about the memory and effects of abuse are true. That's all I meant to raise.

Guys, I didn't mean to trigger anyone. By all means, enjoy your puff. I love pot. I absolutely love it. But I gotta be rational for myself. And like one of the mods said, you should not be so addicted to vices. That's all. I'm a fat fuck, someone called me a soyboy or some shit too. Bruh, I'm here literally admitting pot may have that negative effect. It makes you lazy, I'm being honest maybe I would've done more cardio, or practicing on the golf course if I wasn't wondering when my next smoke s…

The idea of providing BG is for context - so some mofos know i'm not talking out of my ass. It's not that hard to figure out dude. Use a little bit of that peanut fucking brain.

Brother, just because I am doing good does not mean there is not a better version, or ceiling of good I have yet to breach. Hard times create tough men. Like you say, maybe one will get better at 10 things by 1% by not playing video games. Is the sub not self-improvement? If you are only losing out on 'zen' and 'music sounding better', what do you have to lose by considering putting it down? You have to ask yourself how much worse can things possibly be without? Kick it for 14 days, you will lea…

saying 'sure why not' when you see red flags is not 'keeping frame'. I learnt its gotta be your gut naturalized into leadership, first for yourself and then for the chick if she qualifies value

This. Pretending only gets you so far. Accepting your core values for the man you are, and results/shit tests that come with the consequences of your own life is ownership.

So many guys here talk about 'what she did' and bitch about the girl's actions, but rarely develop the deeper reflection of their own actions and align it with their mindset. This is exactly what a reactionary mindset is, it's exactly why you plan and own your shit.

there is no other persona. you are ONE with your mind and body. your philosophy on life pervades trivial subjects like women and dictates success, career, personal values and ambition in life. The true self has to be one with mission in life.

Great point to hear for the eighth time, appreciated. My city though, doesn't have it's first case.

You literally commented just to say that, despite understanding what I wrote? Thanks. I live in a city not even dealing with its first case.

None taken. Hope this helps with clarity. [Well that certainly isn't what I intended to put across. I simply want to avoid developing feelings/emotional investment. Just gonna have to step out on a limb and temp check her. Also, that's what happened. 'no worries, take care of yourself.']

You would realise in your humblest moments - you are free. Resentment is the birth of expectations levied by others, NOT levied by you. My only truth to myself are my words and actions to myself. No one can love you like yourself. Only you can. Smile and do it for yourself!

I see where you are. I'm there. It's not easy. An empowering belief changed me - self-awareness is bitter. I'm constantly reminded (even by myself) of how high I could fly. You know it in you. Surrender to your beliefs, the roads worth walking are the ones lit up by hope. Be the dreamer you are. Peace and karma to you, brother.

That is very well put, indeed. The world is what you see it as. And everything you never think it can be.

OP, I recommend reading anything by David Foster Wallace, it's great food for your mind. Helped me through a lot of rough storms.

Spot on! You can begin to notice how people appreciate you leading conversation and that multiplies. I'm fairly outgoing and the absolute fundamental to social interactions is keep an open mind and have a good time with yourself. E.g. I like singing and dancing a bit, so I'll tease/grab someone who sings well. Move a bit and poke someone who dances well. Embarrass yourself a bit, shows you don't care about opinions. Asking questions is great too, as long as you smile and carry that energy!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
