It really isn't. People dont think clearly when intoxicated. That's why they make stupid decisions and drive cars when they shouldn't be. They're not in control of their body or mind. Someone may say something when drunk but it's not particularly fool proof way of getting the truth from someone.

I disagree that alcohol is some kind of magical truth revealer. I agree it removes barriers and people will do or say more whilst under the influence. That doesn't mean they're thinking straight or acting how they normally would if not for hiding who they were. I always find this reasoning a bit erroneous. That's why people can't drive correctly or find themselves in bad situations when drunk.

Although I agree in principle with what you're saying, the point is...sub reddits are here for a reason. Separate platforms on reddit are for individual ideas that people can connect with. If I wanted to look for a subject on my favourite colour black and went to visit a sub Reddit discussing black, why would I want to see someone arguing that red is the best colour?

I mean, reddit is social media. I wasn't particularly talking about social media as I don't really frequent anything other than here. I meant the general internet as a whole. I'm 6'2 and have no need to be aggressive with anyone. I go out of my to let other people go first. Especially when I'm drunk and others are drunk. I'm aware of how people can be, and generally, most people are ok. I get a few people telling me I should smile more and dance more often. It bores me.
