The rate of criminality, delinquency and mental disorder are much higher in children of single mothers because women are not mentally mature enough to raise stable adults. I don't know for school shootings in particular, but I imagine being raised by a single mother wouldn't help.

i think boys, especially teen years, suffer struggles that only a father could help with. Some mothers can help them but mostly, women dont understand, especially irresponsible mothers, which have increased in numbers in the last 20 years.

But its more than that.... society pressures, school pressures, the internet etc... all dangerous when mixed with a person suffering mental issues.

I think so, the mothers spoil the boys, and they don't know how to accept the word no, and (I know because I'm seeing it happen to my nephew, not that he'll turn out that way), and they nurture them too damn much. They don't get to feel like to be around a man, have that masculinity in his life...goes to school, realizes shit isn't what he was expecting, everything isn't handed to you, and they start on that path. I'm assuming all of this of course. But the kid starts Wondering why the world doesn't spin the way it's supposed to spin (he gets everything he wants and is nurtured 24/7.). Ends up losing who he is as a person on top of probably bullying.

PS2. I am Manning up my little nephew so that he doesn't grow up to be spineless. Letting him see boxing matches, etc just kind of being there since his father isn't.

I would say so. The demise of the two parent family leads to mental health issues, poor economic opportunities, and crime. Is it the only cause, no, but it is a reason society has become so ugly these days.

In the chapter regarding the origins of feminism and its crusade on the traditional nuclear family, he lists research that discusses the impact of divorce and single-mother families on the psychological development of children. And the research does point to a strong correlation between single-motherhood and severe psychological issues (some leading to committing murder) in their children.

Correlation and causation (most likely). I would say for the most part, this is true just at a cursory glance.

Of course, most people will say "Divorce is so common that it shouldn't be a factor." Well, 1/2 of all marriages end in divorce. Your shot at a successful marriage is as good as flipping a coin.

So, if your coin always flips on "school shooter", your coin is probably loaded.

If a woman does something wrong: it’s her fault (which I totally agree.)

If a man does something wrong: it’s a woman’s fault

If someone decides to be a mass shooter, it’s his or her own fault. Not video games, not horror movies, not his/her mother. It’s that person’s fault. Don’t blame other people or outside factors for that individual’s actions.

It's something the mainstream media has gone through great lengths to rationalize away as a "misogynistic assumption" especially since Mitt Romney mentioned it some years ago during his campaign, but statistics from the Census and CDC have been telling the cold, hard truth for decades.

Statistics show that a high percentage of criminals come from single mother homes. So yeah, there is probably truth to that statement. Of course, you will never hear that from the mainstream media because of gynocentric bias.
