The part about the soldier’s wife cheating on him and then filing for divorce is what happened to my buddy in the Air Force.

I used to be housemates with a girl a couple of years ago that bragged to me about using guys she used to know in high school and on Tinder for free dinner. She also loved to talk about "scheming", something she did with her friends at bars to get free drinks from guys. I ended up moving out and breaking the lease.

Sure. Yang is right about automation. It’ll create irreversible unemployment across multiple economic and commercial sectors, which will facilitate exorbitant wealth inequality. The best way to ease the social destabilizing impacts that technological unemployment will bring is a universal basic income - so that, you know, that there won’t be an explosion in homelessness, violent crime, divorce, obesity, incarceration, teen pregnancy, infant mortality, drug addiction, cancer, high school dropout …

Plenty of women I’ve known so far in my life seem to not experience guilt or remorse. Not sure why. Anyways, the OP in the AITA post seems to think he’s stupid for letting himself be played. Most of us on this sub have been there. You have to be burned by the fire once to know it’s hot.

I lived with a girl who boasted about feminism and equality. I was 25 at the time. She’d brag about using guys for free meals, and constantly complain that men are assholes. One time, out at a bar, some chump decided he liked her, and he came with us to my buddy’s apartment. He obviously wanted to get laid, and she flat out told him, “you’re not getting laid tonight”. Kind of rough. But she kicked him out of the UBER before it departed and made him walk home. He seemed like a nice guy. She defin…

Roughly a year ago I went through an anger phase over a situation in which I had been wronged, but she would not apologize. My step brother attempted suicide, and my mother went into cardiac arrest shortly after. This happened during my mid terms in my senior year of college. This girl, that liked me, tried to chat with me one day outside the library. I briefly said hi and kept walking. I felt miserable, sad, worried, and stressed. My mind was overflowing. Now, after said exchange, the next time…

I pulled something like this woman did when my step-brother attempted suicide. I grieved for a few days and felt stressed about him. I tried to talk to a girl I liked at the time about it, and she didn't seem to give a shit at all. I hate to against the grain of this thread, but with the roles swapped, I sure would have liked if she listened to me vent.

I googled "Men's Dating Preferences As They Age" and found mostly articles that say most men find younger women physically attractive. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying there are millions of older men out there happily married or in relationships with women their own age.

I agree, but what I’m trying to say is the ease of which so many women hold men to different standards than which they hold themselves. If she wants to take a break from dating - all power to her. If he wants to then he can be sure to receive flak, anger, disgust, and women completely writing him off. At least, those are my experiences.

I made myself unavailable for roughly all of 2016 due to family and school issues. I think reserving that right to clean up your life before searching for a relationship inevitably creates healthier relationships. I’ve known women to do this too - taking time for their personal needs. However, some do not seem to understand that if they can stay single by choice, so can men. There are countless single women who believe they are entitled to men’s attention, regardless of whether he wants to give …

Every women, except one, that I’ve ever been with has either: A) Used me for attention B) Emotionally abused me C) Can’t say sorry or hold themselves accountable for their actions D) Lied to me E) Cuts contact with me when I make even the slightest mistake F) Cuts contact with me when I expose my emotions G) Talks condescendingly to me I’d say, in my experience, the lot of them are demons in disguise. I have only found one decent women (girl?) in my life, and that was in high school.

I posted a status on Facebook about a year ago saying it sucks when good looking women are dumb. The backlash was incredible. Two of my friends called me a “retard” for saying women can be dumb. One girl flipped the fuck out on my status calling me a “douche bag” and, I quote, “it’s impossible for a girl to be dumb it’s just another type of intelligence!” That girl unfriended me because of how triggered she was lol. People made me feel so awful for thinking it’s possible that a woman can be dumb…

I was the blue pill guy in this situation once. You want to know why? I’ll tell you. My mom had a schizophrenic breakdown, my grandfather was in the hospital, I was recovering from severe PTSD due to childhood abuse and trauma, and was trying to financially sustain myself in college while getting decent grades. I was a mess, but one thing was going right for me. A beautiful girl liked me. I couldn’t keep her nor do anything for her, and some punk comes by, talks to her for a bit, and eventually,…

I grew up without a father too. Without a father figure, your self-esteem plummets. Work on that first. Tell yourself, you're awesome. Learn a skill. Be humble. Say no when you want to. Take care of yourself before others. Forget what others think. You'll be OK.

Yeah, last weekend at a local bar my roommate's friend joined us. I tried being social and talking to her. After a few minutes I walked away to talk with some other friends, then walked back to continue talking. A minute later my roommate appears and tells me, "Stop hitting on my friend, she's not interested." I thought, "WHAT??". I'm merely being social and talking. Then, my roommate has the gall to make fun of me for it behind my back a few days later.

At six years old, one night before bed, my single mother told me she would not hesitate to murder me if God told her to. My life hinged upon whether or not she heard a voice in her head.

My mother did. I was an only child, and let me tell you, aside from caring for her schizophrenia, and being the emotional support beam for every boyfriend that left her, along with talking her down from suicide at age 11, barely finishing high school, and watching every child support check pay for wine and tequila while my unemployed mother sat at home each day, I feel pity for her. I raised myself and I taught myself how to be a man through bitter trial and error. My aunts supposedly joked when…

This similar to my experience with driving a girlfriend (friend that was a girl) home from a bar. She was very intoxicated. When we arrived at her apartment, she fell asleep on the couch. I stayed for a bit to make sure she was OK until her roommates arrived. When they arrived, one roommate grabbed her and took her upstairs to her bed. I stood up, grabbed my backpack, and started to leave. Suddenly, one of the girl roommates began interrogating me, “How do you know Olivia?” “Where do you know he…

Last semester, a young woman and I were talking. One night, she invited me to her apartment at about midnight. I accepted her invitation, went to the bar, picked her up, drove her to her apartment, and watched a movie with her for about 20 minutes before she fell asleep. About ten minutes later, her roommates walk in and see her sleeping next to me. One of them rushes to her side and carries her off to bed. I stand up and say "have a nice night" to the roommate standing in the hallway. She looks…

I was raised by a single mother with schizophrenia and narcissistic personality disorder. She took me from my father and refused him visitation during my childhood. I never had a male role model growing up. I really really despise my very stupid mother because of this - among other things.
