They're ok with their boyfriend watching porn but would call it cheating if he'd ask for and masturbate to other women's nudes. There's virtually no difference, it's both pornography of other people. Where's the logic? I personally am not having kids, but if I was in your shoes I'd definitely educate them about why the industry is so bad too.. the list is so long. I wish I never found out about porn. The industry itself is fucked up and it can fuck you up too. I wish you all the best, especially on your journey away from porn. Almost 16 years old girl here. You're right. I found out about porn pretty early in my life, got sort of addicted and at some point I needed hardcore porn to get off. Thanks to this sub I realized how awful it actually is so I gave it up. I'm 2 weeks clean so far, I have a lot to unlearn. Now I have problems with my sexuality and I'm certain that all the years of watching porn have caused them. I hate how normalized porn is.

Ew, a 22 years old should not be dating a 17 years old. It seems to me like he wanted to date a poor girl so he can be the "hero" who got her out of poverty and also have the financial power so she can't leave by herself.
