I reached out to my BIL and I told him that I love him; and goodbye. I knew his sister was digging in her heels and that I’d likely never see him again. I cried, but I got over it. My SIL and MIL, however, I hope God has a special place in hell for manipulative intrusive women like that. Manipulated my wife for over a decade; and they finally got what they wanted.

I feel all of what you said as well 😆 I cried when I was told I was ADHD- suddenly; I made more sense to myself. And I realized I was not the awful person my stbxw kept telling me I was. The struggles I had that I couldn’t quite articulate - they were real. Despite what she kept telling me. Despite the decade of demeaning… I accepted myself for the first time. Much love, brother.

We all have varying narcissistic traits - but MOST of us do not have narcissistic personality disorder. My stbxw had me believing I was a narcissist too. She had told me I was. I’m not; I am self-aware, humble, and I consider my humility as one of my strengths. I don’t view people as pawns; I don’t want anything from anybody. Etc. Turns out she believed I lack empathy. Which; I may, to a degree; but I think the real sticking point for her was; she wanted me to feel her feelings. Which I could no…

Why did your attorney suggest the assessment? And did that burn you in the end? I too loved beer. Similar claims

The real dark feelings started to hit me 8 weeks post separation. Got diagnosed with “adjustment disorder” which is just aka you’re going through some traumatic crap disorder. Suicidal ideation started to occur for me between weeks 12-16 tbh. I shook that off pretty quick but the depressive and betrayed feelings still remain. I’m like 6 months in now. Get a therapist, one that isn’t a feminist preferably. Therapy was designed around women and the way their mind works; so sometimes it can be frus…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
