Napoleon really wasn't that short, he was 5'7', which is certainly far from tall, but it veers towards average.

This is true, and people can see right through it. If a woman has reason to believe that you have an alterior motive for being nice to her, she is not going to be very receptive to the gesture, let alone reciprocate with affection.

There's nothing wrong with being a nice guy. Being gentlemenly and polite towards women will get you far better quality girls than the "I'M A HUGE DOUCHEBAG NARCISIST, CHECK OUT MY BICEPTS" approach. What should be avoided is being a "nice guy." (I.E. Subverting your own desires and making every interaction about the other person). No one trusts or respects that behavior. But having ownership of yourself, and choosing to act in ways that demonstrate your kindness and compassion towards others is…

For me its not really about Pickup. The only thing I want, is to become more confident and feel good about my self. I should add that having fun is also vital. IMO, this is how it should be...you are likely to have better results with women if you aren't actively trying. If you learn to be confident, calm, and act purposefully...everythying else comes naturally.

I'm not the defensive one, you can use whatever strategies you like to meet bimbos....and honestly it doesn't matter if you don't beleive me, you sound like you just started reading /r/theredpill last week and it "changed your life." (By the way, you would do well to avoid the advice those guys dispense if you actually want a fulfiling relationship) What are you, like 19? You can domineer bimbos all you like....Meanwhile I'm going out with a doctor who's a fucking MILF on Wedensday. : ) (and yes…

My record of success speaks for itself...you aren't wrong about this trait in certain women and in certain situations, but you are wrong in believing that this "one sized fits all," approach is best...dead wrong. Women are not cattle....they are people. They have personalities. And differences. And preferences. And they react differently in different circumstances. I know this may come as a shock, but it's true. Some of them even make decisions for themselves....I hear in some places, they even …

If you just moved to a city the size of Austin, there's absolutely no way you are going to be able to pull this off as smoothly as a place you are familiar with....that's just a fact. Sure, you could pick the place, but how will you know what you're really picking? What if you pick a place that neither of you have been, and oh, shit, it turns out to be a KKK member's only biker bar? (An exagerration, but you see what I'm getting at....). Your only other option would be to pick a generic chain, b…

Behaving confidently and assertively doesn't necessarily mean micromanaging control over every aspect of a date or a hook up. In this case, I would probably try to be as carefree and open to experience as possible, because you aren't going to have enough information to "run the show," and the sheer act of asking someone you don't know that well to show you around makes you appear powerful, and comfortable. But IMO this approach also works because there's a powerful psychological effect, in that …

You are completely right...and this is one reason why I will only sexually pursue girls I could conceivably see myself dating. Even if it doesn't go anywhere, I need there to be more than just a physical attraction. I slept around entirely too much in my 20's, and know this emptiness all too well.

You always have an easy in when you're in a new area...the classic, "I just moved here, I don't really know anyone yet. What time are you free? You can show me a good place to get a drink around here!"

*That brings me to the next book I started reading... The Game, by Neil Strauss. I kind of hate this book.* I hated it too! I read it almost a decade ago, and even bitter as I was at the time, it was so dripping with mysoginy that I found it difficult to take seriously. In fact, one reason I like /r/seduction is that you guys seem to deconstruct this stuff here without implying that all women are either whores or femme-nazis, and I feel like most of the people who would be deeply into Neil Strau…

Sadly, the general concensus among a lot of my more attractive female friends is that if you aren't at least 6 feet tall, you can fuck right off. (I'm 5'9") But whatever, ignore them, it's not like you can change your height, and it's not like women are ubiquitously shallow. You can get in better shape, work on yourself, pursue useful talents, and most of all don't let perceived imperfections get to you, especially ones you can't do anything about.

"She was not buying it, she had in mind that a guys always has to pursue the woman, and she loved to be pursued" Massive, masssive red flag. I would turn and run immediately. I know that women want to be pursued...but I have run into women that said this kind of thing...and in my experience, these are the girls who will put you in insanely demanding and emotionally exhausting situations just to see how you'll react. And usually there's no right answer. Hell, if she's particularly sadistic, she m…

Honestly I feel like having a mysoginistic attitude is going to hurt your game more than anything...women are better at reading our emotional cues than you likely believe, and if you let that bitterness out in the open, I promise it is far more unnatractive to women than any undesirable physical trait you can think of.

I've always found that I click more with women than men. It's always been easy for me to make friends with girls...but I think that comes from having 3 younger sisters that I've always been really close to. A lot of my really close female friends are people who I originally approached because I thought they were really attractive...and things just didn't go that way. You'll hear a lot of guys bitch about being "friend zoned," but if you ask me, it's a blessing in disguise for an awesome girl to …

This basically TELLS the guy...and your girl...that you feel threatend by him. Never, ever, ever broadcast that you feel threatened.

If you go hit on another girl, you basically just broadcasted to the girl you're with that you don't give a fuck about other dudes flirting with her, or that you aren't interested in her all that much. She may not want you to react in an aggressive way that she's being flirted with, but she wants you to NOTICE. Shit, even women who aren't attracted to you want you to be attracted to them and notice when other guys hit on them. ....and when you walk off there's a pretty good chance she'll get so …

First things first...if you are out with a hot girl, other dudes are going to hit on her. There is nothing you can do about it. This is especially true if you are like me, and you aren't "traditionally," attractive. Most of the women I've dated have been really hot...I am not traditionally hot. I am only 5'9, and kind of scrawny to boot, so I am never going to win the "who's the bigger alpha?" game with the same kinds of things that'd work for a guy like that, and I'm not going to try to. I'm qu…

IMO it's highly tacky to approach girls at the gym...they are there to work out, not socialize. I mean it's different if it's someone who say, smiles at you every day you're in there working out, or somehow initiates contact with you, etc....but generally speaking, do not cold approach people at a gym.

As a caveat, I don't really consider myself "alpha," I just learned to be me...fearlessly. I guess by definition that is alpha, but I don't prescribe to any set rules about how I conduct myself. I do what I want, and I question everything. I really don't fit any cliches. To be honest, I was a total loser through all of my teenage years, and some of my early adulthood. I was that guy...the one who wears a black trenchoat and speaks to no one and reads Dostoevsky in the back of class. I had a lot …

This is good advice...and I'm doing some of it. I've been learning piano, and working out 3x weekly. A friend and I are planning on taking a kickboxing class together, and I've been at least trying to talk to new/different girls, even if I am too damaged to act on my urges at the moment. I've also been out wingmanning for my best friend a lot, and that's helped a little... I know on some level, I'm not broken, and this is all in my head, but I feel like she ruined my confidence....especially my …

Viagra is not a bad idea, but I am scared of taking that route because I don't want to depend on a pill...I'm the type of guy that doesn't even take tylenol and hate seeking medical attention. Even if the girl didn't know, I would be thinking about the fact that I had to be medicated to get it up, and I would quietly hate myself for it. I think you are right though that if I just have some normal sex regularly the sexual issues may dissapear, but getting back to that place is the problem. Women …
