Gorgeous turn of phrase.

Frankly, looks are not high on my list of priorities when dating. I see beauty in all sorts of people. My ex was a tall string bean. Current guy is short and on the chunky side. Different, and I find them both attractive

Yep. This is anecdotal, but the relationships I've witnessed dissolve over someone cheating have almost all been the men cheating, in some cases both parties. My dad cheated on my mom, two of my boyfriends have cheated on me, my best friends marriage ended in divorce because her husband was cheating for years with another lady. It's projection. Men want to cheat, so they assume women are unfaithful too. Obligatory 'not all men'.

Tbh, for what it's worth, I would massively appreciate a letter from my redpilled ex. He messed me up.

I'm a lady and I feel this way at times. I try to think about what I want in a partner, and become those things. First and foremost for myself, but also so that people who are on a similar wavelength, friends or potential partners, will be drawn to me. Like attracts like! Work on your confidence. Therapy has been tremendously helpful, but if there are financial barriers, journaling and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques are great too.

Redpill content and mindsets are common throughout Reddit, TikTok, 4chan and other platforms. I think it's contagious like a disease. Some people who subscribe to the ideologies may not even know the term Redpill. Regardless, I believe it's way more common than you think. Yes FreshAndFit has 1 million subs. There's overlap in subscribers of course, but combine that with the countless other Redpill content creators, and you get a FUCKTON of dudes. Shit, I even had a conversation at work recently …

Can confirm that a fair number of my guy friends IRL are redpilled and try to convert the rest of them. 3 are definitely without a doubt. 1-2 I suspect because I've heard them use some of the lingo.

I understand where your frustration is coming from. But frankly, I haven't seen any feminists downplaying this issue. Intersectional feminists in particular are concerned with the varying ways that our identities and experiences are shaped by gender, sex, race, income, disabilities, mental health, and physical health. I am an autistic woman who considers herself a feminist. I understand my situation is not the same as yours, but my brother is also autistic and we've talked a little bit about his…

I see where you're coming from on this, but I disagree. I have broken up with boyfriends before because they did not treat me like an equal and they were unwilling to show vulnerability. If I'm with someone, I want to truly know them. That takes hard work, and it's scary for everyone involved. I don't fault these men for being afraid to open up because a lot of cultural messaging and past dating experiences gave them the message that it's unsafe. But at least for me personally, authenticity, vul…

Absolutely not, speaking for myself and lot of my gal friends. I don't speak for everyone, and I don't think it's necessarily a negative trait on principle, but I find that a lot of guys with high body counts make bad relationship and sexual partners. It speaks to a misalignment with my priorities and time not building skills required to maintain relationships. But I'll overlook a high body. It is something I am wary of to be honest. I don't mean that to be offensive to anybody in any way becaus…

Not exactly answering your question, but.......Better yourself, focus on yourself, FOR yourself. Try to live authentically. Work on your communication skills (I recommend the work of Gottman and Brene Brown). Develop strong friendships with men and women. Pursue your hobbies and your dreams. Annoying cliche, but love yourself first. Develop gratitude and an abundance mindset. Be interested in other people's thoughts, interests, and lives.

Interesting. My own list is almost opposite of yours. I am open to dating religious and non religious alike. I personally am loosely Christian, bordering agnostic. I do think it's pretty important to be close to your partner in terms of religious beliefs especially if want children. I find it extremely attractive when people defy gender roles. I tend to me drawn to more androgynous types, regardless of sexual orientation. With you 1000%. It's not right to generalize people I'm a feminist persona…

Late to the thread but I found redpill because I was trying to figure out why the guy I was dating started treating me poorly. I was hurt and trying to figure out why the guy who was so sweet when we were friends (for almost two years!!!) was treating me with utter contempt once we started going on dates. I binged a bunch of content on YouTube, lurked on forums. Turns out a lot of his behavior was straight from the play book. Redpill content has helped me understand the mindsets of some men bett…

If they're truly rejecting someone over something as silly as an emoji, they definitely won't be able to handle a relationship for very long. If someone rejects you for something like that, they're saving you time and heartache before the the relationship goes any further. I'd be surprised if it was really over an emoji though. Maybe if she was a teenage girl, but I can't see any adult woman rejecting someone for emoji usage.

I'm really sorry for how you've been treated in the past. You didn't deserve that. Nobody deserves to be cheated on or mistreated. Including you. Please don't internalize the way people treat you as a reflection of your value, or that women are evil. Don't blame yourself for their behavior either. You're really young. Young people are still learning social and relational skills, and at the end of the day, people hurt each other. I think the best thing you could do for yourself right now is enrol…

People value all sorts of things. I've gone on dates with tall men, short men, conventionally attractive men, conventionally unattractive men, fit men, average men, fat men. I've gone on dates with guys who are funny, who are serious, who are shy, who are confident. I've dated nerds, and I've dated athletic dudes. Rich, poor, career-oriented, artistic, all sorts. The people I ended in long term relationships with all had a few things in common. They were empathetic, generous with what they were …

No one owes anyone a relationship of any kind. It sucks to be on the receiving end of it, but people have the right to end a relationship for any reason or no reason at all. Just as you have the right to reject these girls for their supposed 'irrationality', they have the right to reject people for an emoji. Women aren't a monolith. Maybe take a break from dating and assess whether you're ready for it or if it's something you actually want. It sounds like you feel a lot of contempt for these gal…
