I could be wrong and I realize the investigation is ongoing, but right now I believe she did it and Burton was the victim. He initially called the police and said she was trying to kill him. Even if he’s denying it now, many victims do go back to their abusers again and again. One of the biggest frustrations in getting someone out of an abusive relationship is the fact that the victim often doesn’t want to leave after things have cooled down. Caroline’s ex said he’s not at all surprised she’s be…

This is a theme for Scandinavian countries I’ve noticed. Touted as the best in gender equality but only because the sexism doesn’t impact women, only men.

78 billion people with the same dad? They’re going to all die of hereditary diseases down the road. There’s a reason why inbreeding is bad other than the “eww” factor.

The real victims in this case are the men they falsely accused. You’re failing them.

10 men isn’t enough genetic variation and it will lead to hereditary disease. Too many children will have the same DNA. There’s even been an issue with sperm donors in some areas because of some men donating too many times. Too many children have the same few fathers and their families will be at risk for hereditary disease. It isn’t just about how many physical babies you can make.

You need a large number of men and women both to have a healthy population. You could have a few men impregnate 100 women, sure, but they’ll be inbred and susceptible to various genetic diseases.
/r/MensRights08/12/19 06:38 AM

Men are providers of sex and reproduction too. You can’t create new humans with just a woman. You need a lot of men and women for a healthy population. Genetic variation is the top advantage to sexual reproduction.

I know I’m just one person but I’ve never had PMS. Sometimes I even have to check my calendar to see when my period is due because I don’t have anything to warn me it’s coming. Also, a lot of people here seem to have pissed that PMS is PRE-menstrual syndrome. As in before a period. If she’s on her period if isn’t PMS.

There are some biological reasons but most reasons for the lower life expectancy for men aren’t biological but social. For one, men’s life expectancies have been gaining ground on women’s and could even surpass women’s if the rate keeps up. https://www.theguardian.com/inequality/2018/feb/13/when-will-men-live-as-long-as-women-by-2032-say-experts Majid Ezzati, professor of global environmental health at Imperial College, said the gap can be attributed largely to social rather than biological fact…

Radfems sort of remind me of this dog I had. He would throw a fit if one of the other dogs played with any of his toys. It didn't matter if he hadn't looked at the toy in years. If one of the other dogs had it, he couldn't stand it. It doesn't matter if several other shelters exist for women. If one opens up, it has to be for women, or else.

I can’t even count all the times radfems claim we just have internal misogyny. Once I even saw it claimed that we knew men had all the power so we were pretending to be on their side just so we wouldn’t be punished.

Historically, privileged women didn’t work. Poor women still had to to survive. It was considered the ideal for a woman to stay home but for many it wasn’t an option. And even if a woman did stay at home that doesn’t mean they spent time with the kids. Chinese women often left their infants alone in the house while they worked the fields.

Clitoral hood circumcision and male circumcision are anatomically identical, so yes, they can be the same.
/r/MensRights08/08/19 05:30 AM

The foreskin, the clitoral hood, and labia are all “pieces of skin.” The foreskin isn’t more disposable than they are.
/r/MensRights08/08/19 05:09 AM

So because you’re fine with it it’s okay that others are having it done to them without consent?

I used to be a nurse aid and cleaning women who had their labia and hood cut would be easier, but we don’t do that. So why do that sort of thing to boys?
/r/MensRights08/08/19 05:05 AM

The foreskin isn’t any more of a “piece of skin” than the clitoral hood or labia are.

It is Muslims that do this procedure too. South east Asia is predominantly Muslim. Whether you consider this procedure mutilation or not, WHO does.

There are many different reasons cultures perform FGM. In south east Asia they only cut the clitoral hood (analogous to the foreskin) and they even do it in hospitals and doctors offices to babies. They believe it’s cleaner and part of their culture. Sound familiar?

The only thing I’ve ever disliked about being a woman is the menstrual period. It’s even more of a pain in the ass than usual for me because I have endometriosis. Vaginal discharge sucks too if you hate having wet and cold underwear. Uh, TMI. Sorry. I wouldn’t want to be a man. It’s much more difficult to force me into parenthood. I’m much less likely to get fucked in a divorce. Cops and judges would probably go easier on me if I ever committed a crime. (I never plan to, but nice to know.) Plus …

Do we ask this question about other specialties? Do we ask orthopedic docs why they do that? No. (At least not in an accusatory way.) Then why do we bother gynecologists with it? All I want from my doc is that they are professional and give me the proper treatment. I don’t care about anything else. My first gyno was a woman. Now it’s a man. I don’t care either way.

This guy ordered food and left without paying, expecting his date would pay. That’s different from what I see women brag about doing sometimes, which is going out with someone, letting them agree to pay the bill, then parting ways and not speaking again. Both are shitty, but I haven’t heard of women just leaving the restaurant and the man sitting at the table, like this guy did. Women let men pay under the false assumption of sex/future dates, etc. This man just left without making sure his meal…

So it’s abuse when a man wants sex, but it’s also abuse when they don’t want it. Got it. Sex is a part of a relationship and I don’t blame people who are upset for not getting it. But the thing is do is move on, not constantly harass someone for sex. That goes for women too.

I see this whenever a study claims men do something scientific better, be it math, spatial awareness, etc. Feminists say the study was interpreted wrong, it’s just socialization, etc. But claim women are better at things involving language, multitasking, etc? I’m a woman who doesn’t do much to look out after her safety while going out. I make sure I have my phone and enough gas. That’s about it. I’m pro choice but it’s not part of the woman’s body like her organs or other parts are. In fact it’s blood can be incompatible with hers, causing a miscarriage. The draft in Sweden was reopened in 2017 and they conscript 4000-8000 people every year, men and women for the purpose of protection against Russia getting aggressive. https://www.government.se/articles/2017/03/re-activation-of-enrolment-and-the-conscription/ Do you have a source stating it’s how you say it is in Sweden? Feminists seem to like to take issues that impact everyone and make it only about women. Sometimes the issue will even only impact men and feminists will still claim it. Babies born prematurely keep developing as they would inside the womb. That’s why they have adjusted milestones. All their normal milestones are thrown off because they have a bunch of developing to do before they get to where full term babies are. Emotional labor started off as a concept explaining how hard customer service jobs are. You’re expected to appear happy and smiling no matter what’s going on in life. Your performance can’t even fall if a customer is treating you like shit. Neutral isn’t good enough, you have to actually appear to be happy. As long as the woman bears the full brunt of pregnancy it should be her choice. However, I’ve seen feminists speak out against artificial wombs if it means a man can veto an abortion and force her to allow it to be placed in a machine to grow instead of killing it. Some say if such a thing happened they should be exempt from child support. That right there shows they’re terrified that they might be subjected to the same treatment men have now: forced to become a parent and have to pay for it aga…

Vasectomies can and do fail. Many clinics won’t perform them on young men. If a man wants children later in life, much of the time they aren’t reversible. Also, this is the same dumb argument women hear about abortion. “You do have a choice. Get your tubes tied.”

I can see most of them being women being relevant if it’s a clue - like perhaps it’s forced prostitution? I know that happens to men to but women are more likely victims of it. It doesn’t really matter in terms of tragedy though. Whether they’re male or female I want them found safely and if not, their bodies treated with as much dignity as possible.

I don’t know why they act like being told to smile is a hate crime. It’s annoying and rude. That’s about it. I was constantly told to smile and instead of bitching I just gave the most pained “this hurts” smile I could. Really, it’s smart to always have another person with you as a medical professional if you’re going to be helping an undressed patient or a patient who is completely helpless. It protects both parties. I’ve had several female doctors require a nurse be in the room, and one female doctor even had the receptionist come in and stand by my head when a nurse wasn’t available.

The thing is, you have to gather evidence right away or it disappears. How long do you expect the person to go without a shower or using the bathroom? Those can contaminate evidence. A rape kit should be done ASAP, so it does have to go beyond the filing a report stage. If it’s found to be groundless you can dispose of it then. But it would be bad to decide not to do a kit and only later decide you should have, because then the evidence is gone.

Aren’t they then broadcast on TV? Kind of pointless to worry about the gender of the reporter if millions of women are about to see them undressed. Sounds smarter to just not allow locker room interviews.

It wasn’t just “male psychopathic rulers” that forced women into prostitution/living on the street for not affording a dowry and practiced infanticide. These were things supported by entire societies for hundreds/thousands of years. So where was this biological drive men have to protect women then? Would have been a good time for it to show up, yes? Any drive you may feel to protect women is placed there by social expectations, not biology.

Protecting ones partner or mate could just go with the desire everyone has to protect their loved ones. I have a very strong desire to keep my husband from harm, just like the rest of my loved ones. That’s different from claiming men in general have an innate drive to protect women in general, which many do claim. It’s even come up in the other comments. It’s quite a stretch to say men evolved to protect women and children, especially considering how many ancient societies treated women. Early Chinese women were often forced into prostitution as one example, as well as women who couldn’t afford dowries in other societies. Infanticide was pretty common historically too. Males are bigger in almost all mammal species, and many of them don’t live in packs or even as couples so there isn’t usually protection there. Even the ones that do live in packs…

I read that a huge factor in men’s life expectancies being so much lower in Russia is the amount of alcohol men drink. Anyway, the life expectancy issue is about to get very interesting because men’s have been catching up to women’s. If it keeps going at this rate men will outlive women on average. There’s a little bit of a biological basis but most of it is lifestyle and the fact that men don’t take care of their health as much. What drives me insane is that women are constantly told to not be ashamed for not nursing, that formula is fine, that it doesn’t make all that big a difference anyway, etc. Which is fine because breastfeeding doesn’t work out so great for everyone. Most women aren’t gay, so fewer of them are performing oral on women. Women’s immune systems are a little stronger. That’s why women are more likely to have autoimmune diseases. But as I said, cervical cancer caused by HPV used to be a huge killer of women. Much more than oral cancer in men. So it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me to say women fight off HPV all that well.

Vaginal fluid has a high viral load when it comes to HPV, which is why men who perform oral sex are more likely to get it. Not too many women are performing oral on other women. There was also something about men’s bodies being less able to fight off the virus than women’s bodies, but I don’t know how that squares with the fact that cervical cancers (mostly caused by HPV) used to be one of the top cancers in women before screening and treatment of precancerous cells became a thing.

I can’t read this very well as I’m on my phone, but did they address the facts that men are more likely to smoke, drink, and eat unhealthy while also being less likely to get medical attention for anything? Biology might play some role but I’d say it’s more likely those factors cause it.

Not true at all. In many states/countries an unmarried father has no rights unless he goes to court for them. The mother can keep the kid away unless a judge orders joint custody or visitation.

Making them want you to touch them is seduction. Touching them when they said piss off is assault.

Finland isn’t wanting to go back to “banning women from conscription” because women were never conscripted to begin with. It was always a choice for them. They’re wanting to make it so women can’t join at all. Your wording confused me at first.
/r/MensRights03/07/18 04:55 AM

Both men and women should get to choose, but if women are banned from serving to me that’s closer to equality than women just having the option. Banning them puts men and women both in a gender role, where men have fight and women are considered unfit. Letting women choose only says, “We want our women to be able to do whatever they want. Our men though have to know their place.” Of course I’d rather it be a choice for both, but if you’re going to be sexist, at least go all the way.

That sounds questionable. Women do indeed feel colder than men in general, but it isn’t because men had to go hunt and they just got used to it. Women tend to conserve more heat at the core, leaving extremities cold. Women are also more likely to have anemia and thyroid issues, which also makes you feel colder. There’s also the fact that because men usually did the hunting that doesn’t mean women weren’t outside. Many societies depended a lot on what women gathered and collected because hunting …

Men’s cancer rates have actually been improving. I think I read in Canada men have been getting cancer 2% less every year for an entire decade. Women’s numbers remained the same. In one country, Israel, women actually have cancer more often than men now. The difference is mostly lifestyle changes. Men are smoking and drinking less and starting to go for recommended cancer screenings.

There are some biological reasons. One relates to X inactivation in females. 50% of a woman’s 46 X chromosomes are shut down shortly after conception. However, some of the genes on those chromosomes remain active anyway. It just happens that a lot of cancer mutations happen in those genes. A woman has a back up gene so both genes would have to mutate for the cancer to really take off. It’s not really super rare for this to happen, but it does provide some protection. A man only has one gene that…

Rape is hard to prove. Sorry, but that’s just a fact. You can’t put someone in jail unless you are very sure they did a crime. Due process doesn’t mean you got the end result you wanted. It means things were done properly and both the victim and the accused’s rights were respected.

They're mostly opposed to it in terms of lip service. They say it's bad, but aren't willing to do anything more than that. It isn't as bad as FGM (which isn't necessarily true, it depends on the type of FGM you're talking about) so it isn't deserving of any effort to stop.

Labiaplasties and clitoral hood reductions have been gaining in popularity in adults but they’re still considered FGM when performed on children. It’s the exact same procedure but it all depends on the age of the person undergoing it whether it’s legal. FGM is classified as any unnecessary modification of the genitals of a female. The UK’s NHS now considers consensual genital piercings on women to be FGM. http://m.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2015/03/18/vaginal-piercings-classed-fgm-new-nhs-guidelines_n…

For a long time now men’s life expectancy has been growing faster than women’s in a lot of places, like North America and the UK. If it keeps going at the current rate men’s and women’s life expectancies will be equal in the UK by the 2030s. It’ll be interesting to see if that happens.

Most people commenting on this story have sympathy for the woman. No one seems concerned over whether the father gave permission for her to make the decision for him as well or even knows he has a kid or not. There’s also the fact that if a man did this he probably wouldn’t get much sympathy.
/r/MensRights10/02/18 06:24 AM

That’s why I wouldn’t have been offended at all if my boyfriend had asked for a paternity test. I know our kid is 50% his, but he doesn’t have that knowledge with absolute certainty. He’s taking my word for it. No one should have to take someone else’s word on that if they really want to know. In very basic terms, isn’t it saying that more male embryos are conceived, more die early in the pregnancy, more die later in the pregnancy, but so many females died somewhere between conception and the end of the 2nd trimester that it still made females more likely to die overall even though females had a smaller window in which they were most likely to die? I admit I’m not well read in biology and get thrown off when something isn’t made clear enough.
/r/MensRights06/02/18 05:34 PM
1

I don’t know how relevant it is, but a recent study showed that females were more likely to die before birth overall. Male fetuses are more likely to die later in the pregnancy. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/science/2015/mar/30/female-embryos-more-likely-to-die-in-pregnancy-than-males-study-claims It was quite a large study too. It’s a good reason to be skeptical about saying one gender is just weaker. That depends on a lot of things.

Male circumcision is okay, female is wrong. Women don’t consent to being parents and don’t deserve to be saddled with a baby for having sex, but men do. Men have to serve in the military, but it’s voluntary for women.

I think it would be fair to have the man pay for half the abortion if she chooses that based on his choice to leave. That way the man doesn’t get off scot free while leaving the woman with the problem. They both created the fetus, they both want rid of the fetus, they’re both responsible for doing that.

The woman should be the only one making decisions about her body. Your system leaves the man controlling the woman but the woman having no control over his body in turn. That’s sexist. I do think men should have the option to absolve themselves of responsibility the way a woman can during the period where abortion is legal. That way having a kid doesn’t have to impact him if he doesn’t want it to.

If a man can force a procedure on a woman because he doesn’t want to be a parent, why can’t a woman do the same to a man? You’re insisting you should have control over someone else’s body. If you want control over their body, it’s only fair they have control over yours.

There’s many professions that you could do that put you in contact with doctors if you want to try to seduce them that don’t involve years of school, no sleep, a high risk of depression and anxiety, etc. Anyone trying this wouldn’t get past the medical school “weed out” classes because they’d get burned out. Even people who truly want to be doctors as their job get burned out and sometimes don’t make it through. It’s just silly to think people would be able to get through medical school solely f…

I firmly believe anyone should be able to do whatever job they want and can qualify for regardless of gender. If more women want to be doctors and more men want to mine, fine. But it is annoying that people act like women should be pushed into highly regarded occupations like physician but if there’s few women doing things like mining, that’s okay. They only care about women doing male dominated professions if it comes with status.

The chances of them making a fair and reasonable decision (that she gets the embryos but he has no responsibility to them) is close to 0. They’ll say something like, “Usually what to do with an embryo is a woman’s decision and we don’t want this to set any possible precedent over a woman’s body so even if her body isn’t involved she still gets to choose what happens to the embryo and the father gets no say. Nothing is wrong with discussing all the devastation war causes. There’s a lot of it. However, statements like “women have always been the primary victims of war” is just a facepalm moment. There’s also the fact that children aren’t religious and still can’t consent to circumcision regardless. Religion is no excuse. I could make up my own religion and say it mandates I tattoo my baby, but that wouldn’t be allowed.

Yes, but as I said, the population isn’t going to be very healthy, and that impact can last a long time. It doesn’t just happen immediately after the event. The population bottleneck that happened in cheetahs was 10,000 years ago and while they’ve escaped extinction so far their health is fickle and they have some issues with breeding. Many males have poor sperm quality and their cubs die in great numbers even in captivity. Inbreeding that long ago can cause damage that still persists that much …

Women are only needed more to replace losses if you ignore the issues that come with a population where too many people are related to each other. Too many children having the same parent, be that mother or father, leads to hereditary disease among other things. Cheetahs are a good example. They had such a small population at one time that they have poor genetic diversity now even though their numbers have bounced back. However, I’ve noticed that whenever women are said to be do better in a subject, women on female-centered subs will say of course, that’s well known. But when one claims men do better in a subject? Female circumcision ranges from pricking the clitoris with a needle to removal of almost everything. This article talks about Malay Muslims having an issue with the BBC calling their circumcisions mutilation. Prince Philip had to kiss Princess Aurora to wake her and the entire kingdom up because she had a spell cast on her. It was the only way she would wake up. Men don't go to an earlier death than women through working. Men go to an earlier death because they are genetically weaker. It's less biology that makes women live longer than men and more environmental factors. It's true that having two X chromosomes does give an advantage by giving a woman an extra gene to choose from if one of hers has a defect, but that has draw backs too. It’s ridiculous to say the world would be primitive without paper cards going through the mail. If you think physical things is the only way to know someone is thinking of you, that’s pretty sad. So you’re saying a woman should be solely responsible for a pregnancy you both caused, and the man should have choices she might not realistically have? Just because she has the right to an abortion doesn’t mean it’s available to her. That’s like saying I have a right to spend my $100K any way I want. The issue is that for a woman it isn’t opt in. If she wants to opt out there’s abortion (which she might not be able to afford, might not be able to get the days off work to recover, might not have a clinic within reach, etc). If she adopts it out she still has an expensive pregnancy to deal with, and if she can’t afford the healthcare, possibly very dangerous. Kelly Forbes, 5'5 and 150 lbs, strangled her husband, 6'1 and 250 lbs. The thing about strangulation is that it can render you unconscious in seconds and it doesn't take much strength. The average woman can apply about 21kg of pressure with her hands. Depending on what part of the neck you're on, you only need 4 to 15 kg. Your neck is pretty vulnerable.

Probably a Scandinavian country. They have their issues, but they're closest to actual equality. As for mandatory military service, Denmark and Finland do have it for men only so you'll have to scratch those off your list. Norway and Sweden include women in their mandatory service. Iceland doesn't have mandatory service at all.

I'd go to the park and walk around, maybe swing a little on the swing set. But I do that anyway and men don't have a curfew, so what's the point again?

I guess Cracked figured if they could more cheaply publish Buzzfeed quality shit, they don't need talented writers. /r/MensRights09/12/17 10:33 PM

All of that is fine. However, the issue is that if the roles were reversed it's highly unlikely that sub would be saying such things about a woman. They'd probably tell him he's being abusive for not allowing his wife a choice or something like that.

Viruses don't have intelligence, no, but evolution doesn't require intelligence. Basically viruses that killed women quickly probably didn't spread as well as viruses that let women linger to pass itself on. The clitoris can get dirty the same way an uncircumcised penis can, especially if hygiene isn't kept up. Phimosis of the clitoral hood can occur. Looks like a good reason to circumcise the clitoral hoods of women. Keep them cleaner, right?

I oppose all circumcision done to someone not consenting, but more people need to understand many types of female circumcision are very minor. Even more minor than male circumcision. Also expensive to get and to reverse, and not guaranteed to work after reversal, especially if more than a few years go by. More options is always beneficial.
/r/MensRights25/11/17 09:14 PM

You don't want more options besides condoms? That's on you but other men would like more control over reproduction than that.
/r/MensRights25/11/17 08:08 PM
1

As I explained earlier, men are as valuable to reproduction as women. Yes, 10 men can knock up 100 women and you have 100 new kids, and a bigger population. But if you want a healthy gene pool you need to have more genetic variation than that. If too many people are related to one another you get a bottleneck, which makes hereditary disease much more likely.
/r/MensRights25/11/17 02:27 AM
1

Women aren't needed more than men when it comes to reproducing. The biggest benefit to sexual reproduction is genetic variation. If too many people are related to each other you get a bottleneck and a less healthy gene pool. Sure, a few men can knock up 100 women and get 100 new kids, but too many of those kids will be related.

In reality you know very little of this woman. Many feminists just think that feminism is equality and don't look into it further. It seems she's probably one. I was one once too. It actually can be post partum depression that causes that. These women should seek help immediately. I was diagnosed with PPD and it takes you to some pretty dark places. I also have clinical depression on top of it and have to say PPD is a lot worse. I never hated my baby but things she did made me irrationally angry. Just her crying made me want to smash things. A medication adjustment improved that. Three years though? That's different.

I considered myself a feminist until I learned more and more about the issues facing men. I expected feminism would and should handle those too, but when it became clear they had little to no interest in general I left the movement. I consider myself egalitarian now. Look up brit shalom. Rules change all the time with religion. Nothing is really mandatory because you can just ignore it if you don't like it. If nothing could change there would be no Reform religions and all would be in their original state. Judaism already branched out and changed a lot of its rules with Reform Judaism in the 1800s. Why not circumcision too?

Circumcision is very rarely needed for medical purposes. The foreskin can be stretched with steroid cream if it's too tight. UTIs are extremely rare with both intact and circumcised men. As for FGM, this has been explained so often on Reddit I'm surprised there are still people who haven't seen it. There are several different types of female circumcision. What you've just described is only one of them. Female circumcision also involves cutting the clitoral hood (anatomically similar to male circ…

They've already got this covered. They basically say you can't tell a woman which procedure she has - that's a violation of bodily autonomy too. She owns the embryo/fetus and gets to choose whether it dies before it is removed. I wouldn't care if that was how it was as long as men had financial abortion too, but that's how they're avoiding forcing women into parenthood if or when artificial wombs become a thing.

If that happens to baby after baby in one family I can see the suspicion. However in most SIDS cases unsafe sleeping conditions were found. Babies don't actually sleep well under the safety standards set up to avoid SIDS. So parents who are desperate for sleep finally crack and do things like put the baby on their stomach (they sleep deeper this way) as well as cover them with a blanket to keep them warm. Some woman was asking why her son, who had been a pleasant baby in the hospital, was screaming and crying at home and wouldn't eat. I gave birth to a girl just yesterday. Why can't I apply this logic to her and have her circumcised? I'm a woman with a vagina and according to this twit, that means I can do what I like with her, right? Oh yes, I forgot. Rights for baby girls only.
/r/MensRights12/06/17 05:15 AM

Honestly, I don't understand the need for women, or anyone, to do this. What's wrong with the other parent having the kid for awhile? I'd gladly accept 50/50 parenting. That's fair. I get to spend time with the kid plus have them out of my hair for awhile.
/r/MensRights26/05/17 01:30 AM

Completely agree, but it's still true that male circumcision is considered a religious right of the parents. There's no reason the same can't be said of female.
/r/MensRights23/05/17 03:01 PM
3

There are two other forms of female circumcision I know of that are pretty mild. One is literally a pinprick to the clitoris, the other is severing the clitoral hood, which is anatomically the same as male circumcision.
/r/MensRights23/05/17 02:59 PM

There are several forms of female circumcision that are less invasive and damaging than male circumcision but everyone only focuses on the severest forms of it.
/r/MensRights23/05/17 02:55 PM

Men are more likely to be victims of all violent crime aside from rape, but let's just ignore that. You could turn this into a "bad people are dangerous for everyone regardless of gender" talk but no...just focus on female victims.

Hasn't that happened literally once?
/r/MensRights23/05/17 02:47 PM

Clitoral hood circumcision is almost exactly the same thing. And poking the clitoris with a needle (considered mutilation by the west) is a lot less severe than male circumcision.
/r/MensRights12/05/17 11:06 PM

I don't know of anyone who removes the entire clitoris like that though, so it's sort of pointless to bring it up.

I decided that meant, "Unless he's been reading Red Pill or other MRA sources, he probably hasn't considered the fact that that happens sometimes, he should be fine." I know that isn't what she meant, but that's how I took it.

Women have the right to have the embryo taken out of their bodies. After that, the bodily autonomy argument is gone as her body is no longer being used by another organism. Once it's out there's no reason why the father can't have equal say over it. Nothing stopping the father from having the right to then place it in an incubator after removal.
/r/MensRights27/04/17 02:08 AM

Actually, here's what to do if a woman says you're being sexist: Think about what you said. Maybe you didn't express yourself very well. Maybe there's another side you haven't looked at. If you've done that and what you said still doesn't seem sexist, move on. Maybe the woman's wrong.

Feminists have been saying that emotional and psychological abuse is as bad as physical abuse for some time now. And okay, I can agree with that. But then they turn around and say male victims aren't in as much need of help because their abuse isn't necessarily as physical. Well, which is it? Is emotional and psychological abuse as deserving of help or not?

This of course doesn't mean 50% of men are unknowingly raising children who aren't theirs. These tests are more likely to be taken by men who are already suspicious, so it isn't a representation of the general public. Still, I would recommend all men have a test at birth just so you know 100%.

You can't always do that. In fact, legally you cannot. For instance, if your ex were to apply for government assistance, the government would force you to pay child support to them to make up some of the money they're paying on your kid. Even if your ex doesn't want your support the government can still order it.

True, but another big one is men not even having the right to know he has a child. In the USA at least, if a woman gets pregnant by a boyfriend who is now an ex or something along those lines and is no longer in her life, she's under no obligation to even tell him once she gives birth. He has no right to know he has a child. She can adopt it out or keep it and he might never have a clue. The extremely sad part is that David's circumcision is often said to have been medically necessary. However, it was not. He was diagnosed with phimosis, something children cannot have because it's normal for the foreskin to remained attached to the glans throughout childhood. Sometimes it stays that way until puberty. In fact, his twin brother's "phimosis" cleared up later on its own. Just like it normally does.

most common argument against I hear is "what about the child"? Which no one ever says about safe haven laws when women want to abandon their newborns. I'm not sure I follow, are you talking about not allowing a man to have a say on whether a pregnancy should proceed or not? No. Whether an abortion happens or not is completely up to the woman as it's her body. However, men should have an opt out of parenthood option as well so having sex doesn't have to ruin their lives. Women have that freedom and so should men.

Infants often can't be given adequate pain medication either during the procedure or after. Adults can. Not to mention an adult's penis has already retracted and won't have to painfully be pried off from the glans. They can just cut it. Doctors often have to just guess with infants exactly how much to cut, since they don't know how the penis will grow. This can lead to circumcisions being too tight and causing painful erections. I'm completely pro-choice for women as it is their bodies at risk. She should have 100% say. (I also believe in financial abortion for men) But feminists do take it much too far. I've heard them say a man is wrong to want the woman to keep the child if she wants to abort it. Not wrong to shame her or even try to change her mind, just straight up wrong to want something different than she does. Anyway, stay away from subs like that if you value your sanity. They're trash.
/r/MensRights14/06/16 11:14 PM

I have no problems with this in of itself. It's far better than a child being thrown into a dumpster. My issue comes with how a woman has every opportunity and chance to rid herself of a pregnancy or child she doesn't want to be responsible for, and a man doesn't at all. She doesn't even have to tell the man he has a child. She hands it over and taxpayers take care of the rest. Men have no right to give up financial obligations.

Since I am not an asshat I don't take sex into consideration at all when I vote.

Well, I'm not a sociopath, so I do care about things that harm others. Case in point: I'm a woman on here.

You need a college degree to be a teacher, a nurse, or an accountant. Those aren't easy. You know what you don't need one for? To be a wife.
