What part of 'baby steps' don't you understand? This shit takes time. There is no instant gratification with personal development. You have to work to see results. Now stop wasting both our time and go fucking do something about it!

I think Frankl describes this as the 'existential vacuum', losing ones will or direction. And again, that's OK. As he says, man has lost a lot of its animal instincts over the years, one being security. Man is no longer happy with just sitting back and doing nothing. The search for happiness is not for happiness itself, rather having something to feel happy about. If that makes any sense. I think you're wrong about tricking yourself, though. In the whole world, the only person you cannot trick i…

You know what? Lifes shit sometimes. Hell, lifes shit a lot of the time. Every day, we face new challenges. But what we have to do, as men, is embrace these challenges and make them our bitch. Sitting back, letting this shit get us down, skipping the gym. You are better than that. I don't know you, I probably never will know you, but I know for a FACT that you are better than this. Finding a passion doesnt happen overnight. Seeing results from implementing TRP behaviour doesn't happen after on…

Solid start here. We all go through patches where we wonder if what we are doing is right. Or whats the point of it all. Eventually, after time, you will realise whats important to you and whats bullshit in your life. Im not saying this is easy, im still in this phase of my life after reading for years. But if you can look back at yourself yesterday and see you have achieved a small goal or task. Today is a good day. In the end the race it with yourself. No one else matters. It sounds selfish, b…

I had a plate before who was a staunch feminist. Short-ish hair, tattoos, loved the manhandling stuff. Weirdest this she ever did was one morning we were lying there after sex, and she asked if she could just hold my dick. She just held it for a while. Maybe she wanted to feel like the power was in her hands, for once.

Same. I saw one of my current plates(turned feminist) post the link and say "......and this is why we need Feminism" I'm thinking of nexting her just for that. Her and all her 'feminist mates' are planning on protesting these "hateful men who want to legalise rape". But she has no problem coming to my apartment at 3am, giving me a blowjob and taking it up the ass. Funny, isn't it?

Appreciate the advice, mate. Thanks for that. Purge it. You'll eventually stop Don Quixote-ing the windmills when you realise the futility of it all. Before this I didn't think I had anger but that is quickly proving not to be the case. Certain things seem to still piss me off. Need to get the fuck over that shit.

There is some good advice here. And this has even shown me that i still hold some anger at times. I dont walk around hating women, but some things still annoy me. Which they shouldnt. Every missed opportunity(which I now see this to be) is a chance to learn. If I dont learn from this, then I have to pull my head out of my ass!

I don't feel angry. Moreso I see that behaviour as not acceptable and i just saw it as an opportunity to show her that she isnt the hot shit she thinks she is.There have been many moral debates here which I won't get into about fucking a chick with a bf. Personally, not my thing. Each to their own.

I wouldn't say I'm angry. And I definitely didn't cry myself to sleep ha But yes, women acting like this is not acceptable in my eyes. I admit, as has been said in other comments, I could have used this opportunity to game more. I dropped the ball there. No biggy. Live and learn. Yeah I've been here a whole 7 months and I'm not TRP Chad just yet. Sue me. We're all here to learn, mate. Take it easy. There was a post a few months back saying that TRP needs less reactions like this. It's a learning…

In the hostel, or on many websites about moving here, you will find links and info on the best jobs sites and recruitment companies(they are big over here). I got this role through seek.com.au, by far the most widely used jobs website in Australia. Day after day I spent searching for jobs in Sydney on this. As you said, I had no idea of most of the companies. The company I ended up working for I had never even heard of before. I was in the hostel when I got the interview call. I turned to the ch…

Well for me, my decision was simple. I always saw myself living in the US. I have some friends and family there, but my friends wanted to go to Sydney. When they approached me in Dec '13 and we talked about it, I decided that travelling to Sydney with close friends would be better than travelling to the US alone. I then had 6 months to plan what I was going to do and where I was going to go. (Just a side note on travelling far from home and with/without friends. I am not very much a 'homebird'. …

For me, I just applied to every role I could see myself going for. Tailored my resume and cover letter to each position. Showed up to the psychometric tests/interview(s) well dressed. You wouldnt believe how many people I saw showing up to the psych evaluation wearing board shorts, a t-shirt and some flip-flops. They notice that shit. When it comes to interview situations, I feel I can give a good impression of myself: showing my experience, expertise, willingness to learn and adapt. Also, and I…

Definitely not a 'genius'. I hate to say it but its true what they say about most Irish people. We have the gift of the gab a.k.a can talk shit in interviews. When I get to the interview stage of any job, I feel I have just a good a chance as any one, regardless of my experience. But for this particular role, I was interviewed by an Irish woman(my boss) and an English guy from the team. Before I left the interview they asked the standard "So, do you have any questions for us?". This is where I s…

This. Great response mate, and I appreciate your help in 'squaring off' my ideas. Great insights into reframing. Im not a religious man, but it reminds me of the only prayer I ever remembered(and loved) from my Catholic upbringing: "Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference."

I would agree with your point about fitness. One of the things I love about this city is everyone's love of fitness and/or sport. If I go to the changing room in the office at lunch, it will be full to the brim of people getting changed to get outside for some exercise, be it going for a run or a boxing class or some touch footy(Ive adapted some of the lingo). Even if you walk in to your local 7/11, at the counter you will find Quest protein bars for sale. That just doesn't happen in Ireland! My…

Aint that the truth. I'll never understand the appeal to my accent but hey, if they like it who am I to complain. The Aussies are quite racist too. But in a 'non-threatening' kind of way. Daily I will have people openly mock my accent with phrases like 'Top of the mornin' to ya' or 'Turty tree and a turd'(poking fun at the fact I dont correctly pronounce 'th' sound). Or just a passing comment about being a drunk. Luckily we can take it all very well. I just reiterate the fact that they are bogan…

I hear you mate. Im liking your male role models idea. But as you said, not sticking my neck out too far would be wise. I never show my red pill views in public. Thats some all TRP'ers should be very conscious of.

If this is what you believe the TRP mantra is, you have completely missed the point. TRP shows men how to better themselves first and foremost. It is about men being the best men they can possibly be. We are not PUAs. Women are not the goal. Self-improvement and self-fuilfillment is the ultimate goal. One of the Laws of Power(I think) states that only you are responsible for your own happiness. No one else, only you. Lifting is one of the methods of self-improvement promoted here on TRP. Along w…

such as this one I found without-too-much-hunting: "Why The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Is Damaging To A Woman’s Psyche" I was actually going to include this article below from the same news website. This was actually what got me back on to this topic! How the Victorias Secret fashion show is destroying every woman's self-esteem This article is written by a "fat and ordinary, 47 year old" woman. This. Ive been doing this for a year and the difference it makes is phenomenal. By the time I get to my desk at 8.45am, I have already been up 3 hours. Good(healthy) breakfast eaten, heavy lifting session done, showered and shaved. Much more motivation and energy in the mornings. Some people say they struggle later in the day, feeling tired or sluggish. I havent experienced this myself. It sets me up perfectly for the day.

This. Best lesson I was ever taught was by one of my mates on riding my motorcycle: "Assume everyone, and everything, is out to kill you" Not only did this make me a much safer rider, it also made me more aware in life too. Assume the worst. Everything else is a bonus.

I worked in a video game store when I was in uni. Thursday-Sunday. The manager was Female, as was the senior Assistant Manager. One other manager and he was a guy. Gamer, like the rest of us(sales assistants). Naturally, it was a male orientated workplace as many women wouldn't apply for open positions. This came down to a couple of factors including the fact that generally, more guys are gamers. Even our customer base was mainly guys. And a lot of these guys would be afraid to talk to women! On…

Thats exactly it. Being reliable to yourself is more important that being reliable for other people. Its OK to be selfish. As I read in many other posts, no one will care about you as much as you care about yourself.

Well said bro. Read up on everything on the right. Absorb as much as you can. I've hovered here for a good while before I started posting very recently. AskTRP is great for noobs to pick up some basic knowledge and not be afraid of the backlash of asking questions. I still visit it regularly and learn. Always learn. Well I obviously played off the shit test with my response. This sets a good precedence. I use a lot of humour as in mocking the woman. Even as she made the G&Ts (Hendricks and cucumber, proper shit) I would say things like "Ah come on you can't even cut it right. I had hoped you were better with your hands". So don't insult the woman, but do make jokes that show your intent. Playfulness is key. If she's keen, you could downright call her a slut and you probably would have still ended up in bed …

Yeah its good to have some pictures of you out doing your hobbies or out with some hot chicks. Maybe not too many. But it should show her that you are fun and you look interesting. You have a life she would like to know more about or perhaps be a small part of. Women want guys who can show them a good time. Obviously for your own enjoyment too

Ha no worries! But i meant Ive met Beta guys who even try to add other guys immediately. They want to be everyone's friend. Talk about pushy. Imagine what women think! Good to see some Irish guys here. One thing I have noticed from moving to Sydney, Irish chicks are ugly! You can spot them on Tinder from a mile off! The quality of pussy I have gotten in the last 11 months in Sydney is 10x better than any of the 'Mary-Jane Rottencrotch' pussy I was getting back home.

Yeah I get what you mean. Hes been my best mate for 15+ years. He has always been quite cynical with women, but we were both BP when we were younger. Living in Sydney(hes back in Ireland) he just messaged me one day mentioning an interesting thread he saw on Reddit and I should check it out. I opened it, saw some thread on lifting, and thought nothing more about it. Then a month went by and, I dont know how, but TRP popped back into my head. This is true. I almost got convinced last Saturday(in my drunken stupor) to fuck a fat chick. Well she was chubby. And below me for sure. A 5 at best. She kept saying things like "Im great at sucking dick", or "Im sure I could teach you a thing or two". Thankfully I hadnt drank too much that I would make that mistake! Got out while I still could

Well said xray. I find it hilarious (and sad) when I see Betas adding every new female friend on Facebook within hours of meeting them. If a guy tries to add me like that, I would block him. I dont want or need mates like that. Some of my really good friends have only added me recently. Thats how it should be. Also, hold off a few days before you accept. Couldnt agree more mate. I even find it on the sports field. I play football(soccer) with the guys in work and we normally play against any other team that happens to be in the local park at lunchtime. I lift, and have been for a while. I'm only 5'9 but I like to think I can take physicality, and give as good as I get. Definitely one of the stronger guys on our team. Generally the games are low-key and not too aggressive. As if we needed a reminder. But no harm seeing actual proof on here every now and then. When i see women do shit like this, in my head i laugh and scream AWALT. It happens more and more often these days as my brain adapts to TRP. The best was my housemate. A group of us were out for drinks and she went for a smoke on her own.
