Reminds me of doing a bankruptcy and the guy spent 20k on his gf new boobs and a month later she reunited with her ex husband. The trustee was a known hardass but thought it was the funniest thing he ever heard.

The usual advice is the truth we are bored with: get a good lawyer, focus on your daughter and your health. Stay active! If you don’t exercise start. Get your testosterone checked and start trt if low. Gray rock the ex.

Most judges look out for other lawyers. Depending on the state/county going without an attorney can end very badly for someone going pro se unless the spouse is unrepresented also. If things get complicated with erisa/federal/state pensions you will get eaten alive.

I heard a comedian once who said he would fuck with his wife by amplifying her complaints to the extreme. She would usually reflect on how nuts she sounded when she him say it. All made up b.s. but I have done it a few times and it worked.
