i have no advice to give. all i can say is im sorry it happened and hope you get thru it. im younger anyway, 37, im a baby to you... my life experience is nothing compared to yours. my ex wife left me and we got divorced. she took the kids as well, went to a new country. i now never see them. and i dont know how to move on. its been 1.5 years and i am still broken and cant seem to get anywhere. feels like i will be alone forever, i feel such shame. who would want to be with someone like me... i …

im 37 and i envy you. i have to go thru the majority of my life still, with this shit hanging over my head, feeling like a failed husband and father, and i no longer can see my kids cos the ex left and took them abroad. you're 59, even with good health you only have about 20 years left. i have about 40 years left. you dont have to start over. you can just plod along and before you know it you're life will be ending anyway. only way my life ends sooner than yours is if i jumped off a bridge.

same here. my hobby now is to binge tv shows and lie in bed until my legs hurt, and moving from there to my desk on my laptop. when i get tired enough i just go to sleep. ill sleep for an excessive amount of hours just to waste the day. if im at work im alright cos i need money obviously to live, but outside of work i do literally nothing productive and i dont want to, i feel shame and guilt even if shes the one who left with the kids. i cant go out and do anything without even a slight smile or…

yes. but its too expensive and its not easy, i can only do it if i take holiday time off work. i saw them twice last year, across only 9 days. first time was absolute hell. the ex kept leaving the apartment in the evenings to go fuck with her new bf, who she was also having an emotional online affair with at the time she asked for a divorce. so im sat there in the house with the kids asleep, trying to sleep myself, and the person who i thought was my whole life was going out to get her pussy dri…

my ex wife left the country and took our kids with her. she now lives in norway with her extended family, in a tiny village where the only job she can do is be a carer for the elderly, and she moved there without even having a plan for a job to support herself or the kids. she now supports them with government welfare money and her carer job, and relies on her dad to babysit the kids. the place they live has absolutely nothing for the kids to do. no shops, no activities, nothing. the closest lar…

my ex wife left me within 3 months of asking for a divorce to another country and took our 2 kids. that was almost 2 years ago. my daughter is now 6 and although we talk on video calls, she is quite distant. she will show me what new things she has mostly, or want to play some kind of game, but she wont talk about anything. i will ask her how school was, what she likes or dislikes, and it's like she's blank - she doesn't know how to respond or im guessing she knows but doesnt want to talk much. …

Basically how do you even start dating at this point again? I sure miss intimacy in any sense sadly or having someone caringly ask about my day and life. https://dreamgf.ai/ you want a real woman? forget it. AI is taking over and if you're online most of the day, you would have heard this by now. and it is absolutely true. i tried it out on a trial and sex / getting her clothes off is locked to subscribers but the standard girlfriend experience of feeling connected with someone and talking in ge…

No. I don't lie anymore, im honest with everyone. It will "change". It wont get "better" but it will change. this is now a stain on your life and there's nothing you can do about it, you're gonna become 85 years old with hypothetically another 2nd failed marriage, more kids, and a 3rd marriage to some other old woman next to you that you never planned on ever being with and you will still sit in your armchair and think "my first marriage, what a shame that ended, it still haunts me after all the…

he likely had a very rough divorce and past relationship with his ex wife. it could have given him trauma he is still finding trouble moving past. he may still feel like he is a failure of a man because of the fact that he is divorced. he might be wondering why he deserves you, or why you are with him and what is it about him that you are attracted to. he might be nervous that you too one day will hurt him and he doesn't want to be hurt badly again so he is keeping himself held back. if that's t…

"in sickness and in health / for better or for worse". are you really gonna come here and act like the majority of all the women doing the exact same shit to their husbands, who are on here, looking for genuine support? gtfo

it stops when you stick to a schedule on a calendar that you both have on your phones shared between you, and you stop all forms of text or verbal contact with her. you turn up when its your day, bit early or on time, get the kid, say absolutely nothing to her, and drive off. drop the kid back when its time to do so, say nothing except bye to the kid, drive off. if she calls you its only for emergencies to do with the kid, like the kid ended up in hospital. thats literally it. no calls or texts …

its child abuse. kid grows up thinking of normal life / family etc, now kid is being told by mother that dad's worth nothing and can be replaced. and downvote me if you want idc, but kids growing up follow in their parents footsteps. this is only setting the kid up by the mother, to repeat the same toxicity. when she's grown up she will also likely have affairs, marry and divorce, etc. my ex wife did that to me and her mother also did it, and her grandmother before her also did it.
