10	How to hold a conversation??? I unknowingly say the wrong thing and push people away Yes! I had very little interest in interacting casually with people I didn't know until I worked for my dad, who used to own a small business. Part of keeping a good relationship with his clients involved making a lot of small talk and being personable. He would ask them a little tiny detail about themselves and if they seemed interested in talking about it, would follow up with those kind of who/what/why/where questions.
