I still do it but it definitely isn’t easy. Met a girl The other day through mutal friends told her “you’re really pretty” she replied with “tell someone that cares”. Ive tried dating sites and messaging girls online and never get a reply. I consider myself an above average looking guy as well I’m not really sure how to approach women at all anymore. But I’ll keep trying if I find someone interesting and hopefully the right one will be glad I did

And I mean who is gonna be better at basketball the guy who admits his shot is off and works on it or the guy that tells himself his shot is good. But victim mindset isn’t just in females

I agree and it’s not healthy for anyone. If anything though what are we upset about? If women are encouraged to not live to potential in society that is extremely sad. I agree with you and it hurts women a lot to be encouraged of not taking ownership. I’ve had many terrible things done to me by women and they did not face accountability for it as opposed to things I’ve done much smaller that were met with ultimate accountability because of my gender. But I learn in that situation sadly the women…

Good it makes society better as a whole women should get better men should be better all humans should be striving to do better. The world has become more fair and it’s something to celebrate
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/25 11:11 AM

These comments are gross…. Seems no one cares about who someone is rather how they look… sad

“Women are upset because…. And men are upset because….” Hit the nail on the head. It’s just the ego centred people being exactly as we were bread to be. If gender did not exist ask yourself what makes you who you are without gender existing how do you see yourself?

Are indifferences more common because of gender or ego?

Anything can be inturperated in the way our ego wants it to. Disney movies are great!

It's a poor way of catorgizing something much different. Feel free to message me if you'd like me to explain
/r/MensRights28/12/23 12:06 PM

You don't. If someone has restrictions on who they would pursue or not, that's fine and understandable. How you describe your standard is up to someone else to interpret how they want feel about it. If they aren't talking down or mocking someone and simply stating their preference, it's far from be littling anyone. That being said, as much as they are entitled to that opinion and it can be said without offense, it's also a big indication of where someone is at to have that mind set.

Hey I'm glad you've lived a life good enough for this to be an issue, bless your ignorance I'm glad you've got things well and even though my journey may have traveled through a lot of suffering I'm glad yours was different may God bless your soul and I pray you don't see suffering for more then walking down the stairs for a bathroom.

Good workplaces won't have that attitude and will show respect for humans all across the board. It's never your fault but rather how you decide to internalize what they project through their own pain. People go through their own struggle and pain and it's important to understand and not dismiss it but too try and sympathize. You don't sacrifice for the opposite gender and neither do they. Your contempt and loneliness is far from defined by others' actions or these false transformational pretense…

I hope you find self-love, my dude, and realize there's more important things in life worth fighting for, and the grace and experience we gain from life is outstanding. I hope you get to see it from an actualized view. It doesn't sound like you are willing to listen but more wanting to prove why you're a victim so I'll leave you with this quote from Matthew McConaughey "life is not fair, it never was and it is now and won't ever be. Don't fall into the trap. The entitlement trap, of feeling like…

I made a similar post a while ago and was attacked for calling out the victim mentality. You gotta remember the majority of people on this app and a sub dedicated to what people make a traumatic issue will not have dealt or be willing to deal with trauma. Glad you made the post, all you can do is put it out there to spread some better self awareness in hope people might learn. Don't internalize it, though. love those people unconditionally and remember it just comes from undealt trauma all you c…

If someone can't have an open conversation, then don't give them the time. Saying "they" this or that also is situational, maybe that's your experience, but not everyone is like that. A man's personal struggle is personal it becomes a gender issue when you let it become that way.

Women are statistically more likely to have a disability, pregnancy, men are often more physically capable and hold less body fat making stairs easier. You're far from oppressed and this isn't unfair by any means unless you were unable to use your legs to reach that washroom, and there was no wheelchair access. If you actually feel this is something worth being upset over I hope you find inner peace in your life. it's way too short to stress about something like this. As men, my grandparents' ge…

Agree with you, OP. A lot won't, though, based on the common victim mentality if people actually wanted to look at things as a whole and how to improve together and singular rather then prove how they are the victim this wouldn't be a problem. Just look at the majority of the replies and it shows everyone wants to prove how they got the shit end of the stick and tell others to fix themselves but never want to ask what they can fix with themselves or why someone else feels the way they do. It's s…

She just offered advice, my dude I don't think she even went about it rudely either, you should ask yourself what makes you feel the need to blame her

A bathroom being up vs. down the stairs is likely an architectural error. I don't think it's meant to be a segregation between genders. Men are being seen as cannon fodder because of a bathroom location? There's men dying in war right now and you're gonna use that term for having to walk downstairs for a washroom?

Can't believe this comment is downvoted, I'm shocked there are that many people who support blaming anyone. It's never healthy, and it damages you if you realize it or not if someone blames you for whatever they blame you for. A healthy way to deal with that is stick to your boundaries. For me personally If a girl was blaming me I would listen where she's coming from, reassure her, talk it out but my boundary In that situation would be she's not going to blame me next time she's going to talk ab…

Stems from trauma and insecurity kinda like the female version of what I was talking about but this seems a little more like a specific traumatic event that she mightve literally had no control over, please seek help i hope you're okay oc. That's why you gotta keep firm boundaries if they are something you value, you decide what you put up with and you can communicate these things hopefully in a healthy manner. Just cuz my cousin Kyle smokes crack doesn't make it okay for me to do it. If you're being blamed by a women coming from her insecurities you can find a healthier way to deal with it then blaming them back

Not shaming men for Insecurities rather how they express them and deal with it. Insecurities are part of being human it's how you deal with them that's important to development. And you should be confident you're a rare human being and you're one of one you're a legend

You took that way to literally. If I decide I'd like a spouse and maybe start a family and I build myself into the person that is able to support a healthy family and marriage. That girl comes along eventually. Do I own her in any way? No, of course not, but if I didn't work on myself to be ready for a healthy relationship, would she still be here? Probably not. When I say get it I mean working hard to become the person that she would choose to stay with. Even if I did mean get it as in get the …

I see, I'm sorry you may not understand where I'm coming from here. So you said I sound too young to have changed everything about myself and still are unable to accept the things I can't change? If being unable to accept yourself for who you are and you cant find true, self-love is unsuccessful then I guess I'm doing pretty good. I will not be a victim of my circumstances I don't control immutable traits, but I decide how heavy they are in my life. Yes I could very well end up struggling to acc…

I know what you are saying, but like I mentioned, not being fixated on a certain outcome is important. If you truly have a good form of self love you won't seek external validation. You can let those things happen naturally as they fall into place, but also being intentional about it can help you develop your skills, and gain experience. If you are looking for external validation in any sense you gotta dig up those roots

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can,and the wisdom to know the difference. I'm not really sure what you mean by immutable traits causing someone to be ruled out? I just don't really get how it's relevant here tell me more?

Well, it's a bit of spiritual faith, a bit of law of attraction but mostly just as simple as you work for something staying disciplined you'll likely get it and even if you don't it the process that's the true reward. It's like magic with a bit of mumbo but mostly just the simple jumbo

No I definitely haven't changed everything about myself, but it's a constant work in progress. How would you define being successful?Or in this case unsuccessful?

/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 04:01 AM

Yea, you're right. There might not be a "one" out there for you, learning self-love helps you accept not being fixed on a certain outcome and no matter if you find the person or not you'll be accepting and greatful of the life you have. But I also do believe the universe is very giving to those who work for it, if you really want to find a spouse, you put the work in to make yourself the person you'd wanna date and put an honest effort in the chances you find someone are very high.

Yea looks help, but they only take you so far. I've gave chances to girls I wasn't necessarily attracted to at first but as I knew them better I fell in love with who they are as a person and actually found myself becoming more physically attracted to them as well. This is actually a lot more common in women then men. Women are a lot more in tune with emotional connection, intimacy, confident vibes, etc that build a stronger connection then good looks alone ever could by a mile. Insecurity cause…

You're right you can't ever expect from either side to change someone. Men that pursue lower quality people will find lower quality people and they find it based on a reflection of themselves. Both the men and women of the world who complain and add to the drama of the other gender being this or that do it to themselves. Guys will literally meet a girl at the club who is clearly using him for drugs and then complain that all women are hoes and they ain't no good ones? It's like buddy you sell dr…
