Pressured into marriageWe have a daughter together and guess what...shes controlling my life and my relationship with my daughter still...hell, we still have a joint bank account she refuses to let go. It's been 4 years since we divorced | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/12/22 03:42 AM
Pressured into marriageMoney was a big issue. We had a joint bank account but she kept her money in her own account. I paid for everything...I had a job I loved and was making great money. I was up for a promotion and was told the position was mine. It would have doubled my salary. But that wasn't good enough for her and she pushed me to find another job. A sales job with good potential but I was absolutely miserable. I jumped from job to job after that but she was already set on divorce by then. Didn't tell me until … | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/12/22 03:33 AM
Pressured into marriageVery much so. Our relationship started out like a wild fire. She craved constant attention and I spent almost all my time with her. We got pregnant and she demanded commitment. I proposed 6 months after we met.she had a miscarriage 2 weeks before our wedding and I told her I didn't want to get married and that we should wait. I was guilted into going through with it as it was a destination wedding and everyone's plans were set on it. We got married and we had a beautiful daughter together but be… | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/12/22 12:37 AM

looking for some adviceI just talked to my lawyer. he is serving her with a court summons to show cause as to why she didn't respond to mediation as ordered. he thinks at this point we can just have the court order custody or at least my share of visitation. basically forcing her hand instead of using outside mediation. If she doesn't respond then the courts may default in my favor. shes still in the hospital so lets see how long this process takes. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 11:24 PM
looking for some advicethanks, I have all of our conversations saved. she only will text. I asked her for her email and of course she refused that too. I thought it would be easier to save that way. shes really showing her true character and I'm sure she will regret the things shes said. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 10:53 PM
Its been almost a year since I've seen my son. Got to take him trick or treating tonightI think shes finally realizing he needs his dad in his life. I'm not a bad guy, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to see him. I am responsible, I own my own house, and have a room for him too. my wife graduated from the university of Utah with a BA in early child development. she knows more than most how important fathers are. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 05:03 PM

Its been almost a year since I've seen my son. Got to take him trick or treating tonightHere's the deal. I met his mother when we were both in junior high. We lost touch of each other untill after high school. During that time she was on a roller coaster of drug abuse and alcoholism. When we started talking again she was going through recovery for the drugs but continued to drink. Through my 20s we would see each other on and off. I always wanted things to be more serious than she did. I'd have a serious relationship and she would remain friends untill the relationship would end. T… | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 03:03 PM
