So much for getting a fighting chanceI agree with the tone wholeheartedly. He's my employee, its his job. I work where if I do a bad enough job, I can be held personally liable in my industry. With what's at stake here (the livelihood and quality of life of my children, for starters), I feel he had something precarious enough, and did lousy enough, to be held to a similar standard. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/05/20 01:36 AM
So much for getting a fighting chanceLet me ask you this, like I did with jake above, but doesn't it feel morally...icky? To live in a world where you can just brush past her cheating on me, leaving me for another man, making me homeless in the process, lying and stealing to get this far? I'm a good dad. My kid, under my tutelage and not my force, got herself baptized. They both took an interest to martial arts under my training. They both excelled at school, especially with the programs and activities we did when school was out. I… | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/05/20 01:33 AM
So much for getting a fighting chanceIn what capacity did you work in this field? It sounds like you're knowledgeable, perhaps a paralegal? If so, please provide any more relevant details you could have to offer. My main issue are commented under other's posts here. My main questions pertaining to my relationship with him is, am I at a point where I need to be recording the conversations for myself (GA is a one-party recording state), and seeking to hear certain things in those conversations? It seems many here take for granted tha… | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/20 01:55 AM
So much for getting a fighting chanceWhen it comes to appeals, what are some cases I can use for reference, even outside of Georgia? I had infidelity on her part that was never heard, the wrongful arrest she used to gain power and leverage, breaking the court order, moving out of state...it's hard for me to imagine I don't have the elements sufficient to fight. I may even have the case that could impact the law itself. While a bold statement to make, this has been a lot of thought, albeit from the lens of a lot of suffering. Still,… | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/20 01:45 AM
So much for getting a fighting chanceI definitely don't wish his on anyone, and especially children in such homes! I'm glad your situation is better. To be honest, I'm hoping to come out of this knowledgeable enough to help others in similar positions. When I meet him next, I will ask about the original agreement, and get a copy. Thank you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/20 01:35 AM
So much for getting a fighting chanceI will reach out to him. Thank you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/20 01:32 AM
So much for getting a fighting chanceWill do. I have a follow up question that I will add to relevant responses, but I feel that I should at least in part be in self-interest data collection mode, i.e. recording our conversations. It seems the feedback is generally understanding of his position, but I worry that he's simply discarded my case with no fear of repercussion. If I apply pressure, would it hurt my chances of winning a case against him? | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/20 01:32 AM
Win Divorce & Custody Before You Even Step Into CourtI have, and I recommend it. It's one thing to have the understanding, knowledge OR wherewithal, but this book will get someone's will on the right track. 10/10 would recommend. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/12/18 12:18 PM

How Can I Help You?I think many of us have an idea of what is in store, and how to prepare. I fear most of us are gravely mistaken. Maybe that is reflected in the statistics more so than having two chromosomes? | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/12/18 06:07 PM
I am/was a great guy. I lost my kids today to my abusive ex.I think we need one for this sub, or /r/Divorce_Men. A mix of new, experienced, struggling and supportive members of the community can really get things done, imo. | /r/MensRights | 08/12/18 01:28 PM
THIS SUB NEEDS A DISCORD SERVERWhy thank you! Will plan a trip over there, and looking forward to it. One thing I've learned in voyaging the different applicable subs to my situation, is that there are multiple aspects to our collective struggle, broken down into HUMAN and LITIGANT - Human: living in a broken life (day-to-day aspects); reactionary episodes (seeing or hearing of the other and their life; darkness of isolation (thoughts and feelings when allowed to dwell); confusion and schism (what am I supposed to do here...a… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/12/18 08:14 PM
How Can I Help You?I think sitting in court and being able to listen in on proceedings, and the reactions of judged and lawyers, can give us a baseline for acting appropriately, and tune us in to how questions should be posed and answered for maximum efficiency. Specific examples. I think a book that has a case TL;DR on the left page, and the Judge's decision/court findings on the right - something men can study side-by-side in terms of what really matters. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/12/18 12:56 PM
Legal options, or wait for her to have to answer for it?I was able to use the vehicle freely until I filed. She reacted emotionally, and forbid me to use it. There is one set of keys. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/12/18 03:42 PM
Legal options, or wait for her to have to answer for it?Dude you have been amazing! Plus, I really needed to hear the "don’t engage in her games and be professional in court." It's hard trying to figure out how to respond to all of this. I've been sleeping in the converted playroom for a month, not able to drive, and of course when people ask me why I've lost so much weight, I tell them my secret is lack of sleep and appetite from a divorce and they go "Oh." I am determined, and have a singular focus. Thank you for the lawyer website tip. Time to sco… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/12/18 12:21 PM
