The way I saw it was during the day when they are dressed up in cosplay its almost impossible to get through to them. They are being validated by betas everywhere. I can't express this enough right here. You shatter that illusion of her but keep all the lessons you have learned or think back of all the red flags and bullshit you put up with and the result you got from it. But most important thing is to just stay active keep on being yourself.

The way I worked on my self was when you see someone attractive think of a compliment about them. If you are with a friend tell them what you think is attractive about the person you see. Don't just say shes hot say whats hot about her. Then after a while just tell it to the person. Hey I really like the color of your hair or wow you have a unique sense of style. Opens up for conversation.

Not live in the suburbs. My problem is I would love to go out drinking every weekend and try to pick up girls but "Hey we should go to my place on the other side of the bay and take BART" doesn't sound as appealing as "Hey my place is a taxi ride away lets go."

She isn't your best friend. If she was she wouldn't fuck you over like that. I had the same problem. I felt that I lost my best friend but when looking back she wasn't much of a friend. For a bit I also thought if I stayed friends with her it would be better but it wasn't. I went no contact completly. No facebook no instagram no twitter no snapchat. Cold turkey. I worked on my self for about a month and now that I feel better I am more interested in finding someone else.
