It's so unfair isn't it :( I can inhale cheesy mashed potato

I will have to try that salad! My favourite is mango, red onion, tomato and a ton of cilantro.

Well, I know he both likes rice a lot, but ALSO gets bored of eating the same thing all the time :) So more variety in my toolkit is always welcomed! I think I'm going to up my production of beans, as they're also a good source of protein (and cheap)

I love healthy food, vegetables and salads! I just prefer to "spend" my calories on veggies and protein than (to me) boring rice ;)

I found this really interesting and thought you ladies might like to read through. It's long! But having recently got married, he asked his readers in lasting (10+ year) relationships that were still happy, what made them that way.

I'd love to see a similar one of these looking at women! And the effect of kids, which wasn't touched on in the article. Also full of interesting factoids.... like the maternal grandfather effect! How curious.

Thank you! I'm glad it wasn't lost forever, it's such a good example of what a simple attitude change can do.

Yes! Especially as the repost shows, while the weight gain was obviously noticeable, having a flirty feminine attitude is even more important. I am firmly on the 'no farting in front of each other' side in my relationships... I wouldn't be offended if one slipped out in a desperate situation, but I like to be courteous by not being gross on purpose.

Oh no! The short version: 1st post: Woman has gained weight after 3 kids, and can feel her husband losing attraction to her. I think they've had several conversations about how he feels less attracted. Two groups of her friends - one advising her to get back into shape, one promoting 'body acceptance'. Unsurprisingly, the in shape ones all have great sex lives... the others are mixed. The comments are pretty truthful, that her husband obviously loves her but attraction is not something that can …

I've been working on learning how to improvise cake recipes - starting with the basics and working out how to swap out ingredients to improve or change the flavour. It's going great so far - I improvised a coffee cake from a previous banana bread recipe, and while it wasn't PERFECT it tasted great. More importantly, I know what I'd need to add next to make it perfect - it didn't hold together so well so I needed an extra egg in the batter. I feel like a baking chemistry nerd :)

Good lighting! I live in rental places forever and honestly the lighting is often really mediocre. Getting a couple of nice standing lamps or table lamps can change the feel of the whole room!

I agree (woo weights!) however I do think some fitness girls end up bulkier around the traps/shoulders/upper arms than they want following typical dude weight programs, depending on how fast they put on muscle. A program like Strong Curves is likely to fit their aesthetic goals better.

I recommend chopping ALL THE THINGS every few days if its possible - having ready chopped peppers, mushrooms, onions etc makes whipping up future meals much easier and its somehow easier to get it all out of the way at once. I keep the extra chopped stuff in tupperware in the fridge.

Sorry - I focused on some aspects that weren't the most red pill. Some red pill reasons for more education: College educated men and women are less likely to get divorced. The MRS degree is a trope for a reason - you will almost never be able to meet so many hardworking and ambitious young men in the same place, of course avoiding hook up culture.

Yes, I completely agree the mainstream media deliberately took quotes out of context to sensationalise them. But you know... Roosh also deliberately played with fire 'trolling' by writing 'rape should be legal' posts. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. More than anything, I think he seems like a deeply confused, unhappy and bitter man and I hope he finds some peace with what he is doing.

Yes, would a guy take advice from someone who's never been on a single date? Why should anyone take marriage/long term relationship advice from someone who has never been in one? I follow his posts because I find him interesting in a car-crash sort of way. My favourite recent one was him describing the ideal mother of his child he would supposedly wife up - 21 year old religious virgin with a strong family and father figure - as if any religious father figure worth his salt would give his blessi…

I actually disagree. Education can really make the difference between sinking or swimming, even with a good man to 'take care' of you. Illness, injury, even death can all happen when you don't expect it and can leave one half of a partnership having to take up the slack. Not to mention what could happen if the man taking care of you is not so good - an element of financial independence is absolutely essential to be able to provide both yourself and your children a decent life if your marriage go…

Well really, it's not necessarily a 'modern' function - there are several cultures that traditionally have non-binary roles (Native American Two-spirits, South Asian hijra)) that have been more or less accepted by the host culture. Even in Western society there are some prominent example of people who could be considered transgender (Mathilde de Morny in Belle Epoque France), even if they were considered outcast and strange. I think the brain is such a complicated instrument that it's completely…

At 30, men have leverage towards youngER women, but it depends on a lot of factors. In societies where women rely more on a man's wealth and provider status, a man can date younger, as his 'provider-ship' gives him a greater advantage. In every society where women rely less, their preference skews towards closer in age. I would say a majority of hot 19 year olds would vastly prefer a hot 23 year old to a 33 year old, unless they specifically have preferences for older guys. I'm 26 now, and I don…

I would class a drug habit (occasional weed smoking or party drugs) or heavy drinking as another thing that is mildly acceptable in your 20s (to some women) and deeply unattractive in your 30s. I also don't think 'losers in their 30s' are a rare phenomenon in Europe, the US, and Latin America where I am now.

Yes, people do become attractive at different life intervals though men in their 30s are still going to be deemed for attractive since they'll be more likely to fulfill both parts of the female hypergamy. A 30 year old man with a bad habit is going to be more attractive than a 20 year old with a bad habit. Regardless of the flaw, a 30 year old is deemed more attractive in the smp. I disagree totally here. I'm 26, and there's a ton of behaviours that a 22 year old man can get away with that a 32 …

Exactly, what's the alternative? Keep doing stuff you did as 20 year old even though you realise its kinda dumb now (and goddamit I'm too tired to stay up until 5am)?

I hunted out the 'Pre-Wall Prance' thread and honestly, I think a huge amount of those behaviours are often covered by the natural process of maturing/growing up. Hanging out with married friends Babysitting friends' infants In my early twenties, none of my friends were married or had infants to babysit. Abstaining from alcohol Commitment to wholesome hobbies like photography, painting, hiking As you get older, the limited fun you gain from alcohol is massively outweighed by the physical pain it…

my hair has a similar texture - when its manageable its thick and gorgeous but it seems to cross over into straggly and poofy far too quickly. Things that have helped have been ensuring I take care of split ends quickly, and ARGAN OIL. I bought a bottle of argan oil (kinda expensive but you don't need to use much), and every day I put about 2-3 drops into my palms and rub it into the bottom half of my hair and the ends. It's making it much smoother and more manageable, you can also use it as a l…

If you just want to have sex, and seriously would not be disappointed at ALL if that's all he wanted - have sex with him. If not (and it sounds like you want more), dial the sexual flirting WAY back, and you can keep mild flirting/show you're open to interest in a more committed thing. I advise caution in this though, in my experience, similar to how guys find it hard to get out of the friendzone, once a guy considers you a plate its rare to make that switch. I would advise backing off completel…

From my own experience and others: If you have any doubt that he's really into you or not, having sex will not make him more into you and he's almost certainly not into you the way you want him to be. The ones who might be into you without seeming it are usually painfully introverted and shy. If he doesn't treat you well, he does not respect you, and having sex with him will not make him treat you better or respect you more. You say "he does not feel like I deserve to be treated well" - did he s…
