To be fair, Spain's GDP has never really compared with most of the Northern European countries.

Fortunately we still have the 14th Amendment, on paper at least. Even the 'Violence Against Women Act' had to be written in gender neutral text because of it haha.

You have no quantifiable evidence to state that automation will increase unemployment too over 50%. If you do please provide a source. You are only looking at the supply aspect of labor, meaning that yes there will be workers that are replaced. You also have to consider the demand aspect which will entail automation causing other jobs to be created where there were none before.

They are fundamentally the same. An improvement in efficiency through technology replaces workers who have become inefficient. You want to impede this growth in efficiency because of a difficult to quantify impact on unskilled labor. The answer is to give people skills, not to pay them for their redundancy.

Once again, you need to provide evidence for your claim. Just saying that there will be 50% unemployment, without any data too support that assertion, is meaningless. You are completely ignoring the fact that as jobs are replaced by automation, new jobs are created. If all transportation was automated tomorrow there would be a plethora of new jobs in the inspection, repair, and oversight aspect of transportation. Jobs don't just disappear to automation, they shift the economic role from an emplo…

There is some distinction in the United States between saying "All Men Must Die" and, for example, saying "I'm Going to Kill All These Men". The concept is called imminent lawless action, and is defined according to a two pronged test: 1) The speech invites imminent lawless action and 2) The speech is likely to produce said action. So even saying "I am going to kill all men" or "we need to kill all men" is likely not even considered close too the standard of incitement too imminent lawless actio…

By saying that "people recognize and differentiate hate speech from free speech" you are acknowledging that you accept the idea of people having the right to determine what is and is not legally permissible to be said. It's also a faulty argument known as an 'appeal to popularity'. It is inherently invalid because it is based upon an illogical premise. 9 out of 10 people agree with me that the sky is green, therefore the sky must be green. I agree that she should not be able to speak at the even…

Ok once again, we do not ban people from teaching teenagers safe sex, it is not funded by the government because some people have a moral/religious/whatever opposition to it. I don't personally agree with it, but its not like teaching teenagers safe sex is illegal. It's not. There was a case 50 or so years ago where people were actually criminally prosecuted for sending 'obscene' material through the mail, namely information on contraception, and the courts rightfully ruled that it was a free sp…

The answer is retraining and re education. These machines will need people to set up, diagnosed, and fixed when they are damaged or malfunctioning. Traditional trades that have an artistic aspect like stone masonry and carpentry will always have plenty of work. Machines will always have a functional limitations that are insurmountable. Machine's also have a barrier to entry that is often extremely high, for example a automated machine can milk cows but it costs almost a quarter million, so plent…

Maybe make an investment to fly too Vegas or Mexico if you are worried about the legality. Get a ticket for like $2-300, get your self a nice cheap hotel and a car for 2 days, spend maybe another $500-1000 on a couple hours with a pro at a brothel. You can even pay extra for the girlfriend experience or some kinky shit if you prefer. Another good option is Amsterdam, the girls are a lot cheaper there (maybe 1/3-1/2 the price for the same quality) and the tickets and lodging are still not too exp…

Learning a trade is a terrible piece of advice. A plumber in most of the developing world will make around $1-3 dollars an hour, or less.

These kinds of interactions are like trying to get in a fist fight with a kid with down syndrome. Even if you win, you are both retarded.

I am in my early 20's, and I own a house. Not a Nice house, but a 150 year old cheap house I bought with cash in an area that is bordering the ghetto, but is nice enough that I don't worry about my safety, and has been improving over the past 10 years. I drive a 13 year old Chevy. Only thing remotely nice I own is a (pre-owned) watch I bought myself as a birthday present. The watch, like the house, was carefully calculated to maximize the value of my dollar, it is currently worth more than when …

Breasts are certainly secondary sexual characteristics, they've developed as a result of human's walking upright, as when our genetic ancestors became bi-pedals, we no longer had a direct view of female buttocks, so female breasts developed via evolutionary selection too grab the attention of males. Sorry this is literally as close to conclusive as possible in the field of evolutionary biology.

I disagree with you on watches, sure there are people who by a Rolex for the appeal, but Swiss watches really are a piece of technological artwork. The Craftsmanship that goes into each piece is really unparalleled by any modern product. I bought a Tudor 42000CN used on auction $2800 because I loved the idea of having a watch that was made of ceramic and sapphire, I haven't been able to find any listings for the same model ever under 3200. All the craftsmanship and beauty of a Rolex without the …
