No. In such a case, only the attractive men or men who have wealth (assuming inheritance isn't outlawed) will have access to reproduction. Marriage is more of party with the best I can do right now

UBI would just mean that men also get entitlements. Most women already get some form of help from the Government...so, things would be relatively the same: No one getting married, No one really dating anymore, women thinking all men are lazy and good-for-nothing.

Women DO NOT want a man who makes "enough," or God forbid less than they do. If everyone makes a base salary of 1200 /month, then everyone will be ZERO in her eyes and the men who make OVER 1200 /month will be the CHADs.

Also, Women need to be "provided for" but they also cannot STAND to be alone (with their thoughts). Many women enter relationships because they hate themselves and need someone to worship them (it makes them feel better about themselves, or at least better than the dumb asshole who thinks she's "perfect").

But who will pay for UBI? Oh, right, they'll just print the money and nothing adverse could possibly happen from that, right?

Look up the history of the Soviet Union.

Everything but casual sex would die, birth rates would plumet, and men that are not physically attractive would quickly withdraw completely.

Alpha dark triad will quickly take control, society would force men to work and attempt to force them to breed, death and poverty would regin (young women would be having the time of there lives though).

It will keep escalating until warlords start gaining power.

If UBI were established for the reasons that UBI was proposed (that it would, in effect, replace all entitlements and subsidies currently on the books), I believe it would bring some parity to the dating market, as women demand more provision. I say to men that men would come out better with UBI as it was originally drafted: as a replacement for and not a supplement to the massive amounts of entitlement programs currently serving women at the expense of men.

But you can bet that, when UBI gets discussed as a policy proposal by women, they aren't interested in cutting programs like subsidized health care, subsidized housing, and subsidized feminine existence. They want the goodies they get now, PLUS an extra check, and will probably argue for a larger check than men would receive ("muh wage gap!"; "muh unpaid emotional labor!").

And if that's the case, it'll make everything far worse in dating and marriage.

Communism never works, never has worked, never will work. You can give everyone UBI and still there will be rich and poor people. The hard working, bright, entrepreneurial types will take the $1000 (as an example) UBI and turn it into $10,000. The lazy/retarded will spend it on weed and Ed Hardy t-shirts. And in the end UBI won't have changed anything.

homogenize it? nope. it destroys the dating/marriage market instead. every country that increases its social programs suffers a commensurate collapse in birth rates. the most socialist countries (sweden/norway/japan) have suffered the largest drops in birth rates. this is because social programs are forced provisioning, primarily from men to women. when a woman has provisioning enforced by the government at the barrel of a gun, what does she need a man in her life for?

this is why most women are in favor of raising taxes and more and more social programs. they know they don't want to work for that shit. and they certainly don't want to go back to being beholden to men.

UBI can't/won't work.

Resources are finite.

Money needs to be taken from the rich and given to the useless people of society. And that money will run out. I believe Norway was experimenting with it, and they had to stop it. It seems people don't work don't produce anything anyway.

The only way it can work is if people have limitless energy source and can turn mass into anything using said energy. This only exists in the realm of sci fi.

Also it should be noted that giving women money doesn't provide society with anything. Idiots tried to give women free money to raise the birth rate, even then they complained and wanted more. They wanted to get the birth rate higher. Guess what, the birth rate increased but not at a significant amount. Women get married for resources, period! If they can get a man's UBI by marrying, they would do it.

Except for DINK couples (dual income no kids) most marriages today are an arrangement between a lower income woman and a higher income male. Let's ignore the outlier exceptions like unemployed husbands.

Marriage rates are already plummeting but under UBI it would fall down to zero in no time. Fertility would also plummet too since there wouldn't be any need to use children as a leverage to keep a higher income male around. There's no point of being a single mom (most UBI models scrap the welfare system and that would also scrap single mother benefits too).

A UBI society would probably end up as 98/2. The top 2% of men will have a harem of women.

Unless the goods in the society are state produced I think we'll end up seeing inflation. When you give everybody money no strings attached then you get high money velocity and high inflation (money printed out of thin air oro borrowed from a foreign country) and then a UBI society becomes like Venezuela.

If in this hypothetical case, every single citizen is provided a UBI even when unemployed, it'd increase unemployment as a whole, mostly in women.

Honestly think about it, there frankly aren't many men who'd like to live on a goobermint payroll doing nothing. Hell I get restless if i don't do anything for a couple of hours

UBI doesn't work, mathematically, and even attempting to create it with the numbers even close to what it's proponents want, is impossible without starting WW3 even in a country as rich as the U.S.

So no, it's not going to homogenize anything, unless you mean in some sort of Mad Max type scenario. Then I'm sure everyone will taste the same to the cannibals.
