Oooh interesting one! I definitely have a few FDS rules I personally view differently. I think it also matters in which part of the world you live. However, the most important thing that FDS does in my opinion is to give women tools to protect themselves from bad relationships, and based on what kind of person you are and the things you find important, you place emphasis on different things. The rule of only moving in with someone after engagement or marriage is one I personally don't agree with…

Her name sounded familiar to me so I looked up some news articles. I remember this case because the suspect is Aydin C, a Turkish-Dutch man (I'm Dutch and it was in the news a lot some years ago). Turns out he was convicted for possession of child p0rn, extortion of 34 minors and assault, and has to spend almost 11 years in prison (maximum amount the judges could give him). The article also states Canada wanted to prosecute him separately for Amanda's case but I cannot find more details on this.…

That's exactly what I did. I have a certain amount invested that I'm willing to lose. At current prices it's attractive to 'buy the dip', but I'm sticking to the amount I set aside and not buying more than that. It's definitely also a mindset I would look for in a potential partner. Another thing to vet for!

As someone who is invested in GME I think this is great advice! I find the memestocks interesting because it's a fun way to learn about the inner workings of the stock market and the economy in general, but I cringe so hard everytime I read comments saying 'yolo'ed another 10k without telling my wife'. Makes me happy I'm single.

As someone who has been single for a long, long time, I totally get what you mean. It's totally normal to feel like this from time to time. As you mentioned, we're only human after all. What helps me personally in dealing with these pangs is to just let the feeling be there for a bit when it arises, and then after 5-10 minutes say 'this is enough' and move on to something else. You could even end it by thinking about a downside of being in a relationship to put it all in perspective.

All religions hate women. But it seems that Islam hates women the most, which is not surprising as the Quran literally describes prophet Muhammad marrying Aisha when she was 6 years old, and he was in his 50s. I'm afraid things will not get better until people all over the world stop letting religion dictate everything they do :(
