This video is, bar none, the best explanation I have ever come across on how to be confident. The method is simple, elegant and has the added benefit of working [citation needed] . It boils down to this: Self-Confidence is built upon Self-Esteem witch in turn can be built upon many different things. Compliments, accomplishments, status etc. However all those things are external and subject to being one-upped so the most solid thing to build your self esteem on is the internal feeling of Self-Res…

While not rlevant to the topic at hand I will, for the sake of scientific accuracy, add a third reason for sexual dimorphism: Parasites and diseases. When a genetically homogeneous population encounters a parasite or disease it is vulnerable to it runs the risk of getting wiped out (this happened to an earlier strain of bananas). Gene mixing results in more variation in the population so that some individuals usually have resistance/immunity to the threat.

Sometimes I think TRP is filled with low IQ frat boys with communications degrees. These morons can't be this stupid. Yup, They are victims of their rhetoricical(is that even a word?) environment and boy, standards have fallen. They seem to be unable or unwilling to "enact the labor" of proving their point holding it to be self evident. And if you allow me to be facetious for a moment. What the golden glorious fuck was that about holding frame? Is he 12?!

You are an ignorant twat incapable of rational discourse. I'm not in a position to prove, you must refute. My frame holds. (The above example should demonstrate why assertions must be backed up with evidence or support of some kind. That witch is asserted without evidence or argument can be dismissed without evidence or argument). And your timeline on the Empire is not as accurate as one might hope or at least not as enlightening as one might wish(lack of context). The imperial period starts (at…

I think we dislike vulnerability because it opens the door to shame. Being vulnerable is allowing others to see into the dirty corners of your life and personality, those you would otherwise hide. The places you are ashamed of. It is handing others a club and asking them to "not hit you with it, especially not in that really sore spot right there, the one I don't want anyone to know about" Being vulnerable is displaying your shame to the world. It opens you up to attack and manipulation but it i…

Lessons learned: Woman are bitter and dirty fighters. They'll pull out all stops to ruin your life and turn your children against you. They'll smear you to their friends, family, and even the media to get what they want. Stand your ground, be patient, and have a damn good lawyer. Here is a short post i wrote on the subject a while back that might shed some light on why women fight the way they do in divorce.

Law 9: Win through your actions, never through argument. in other words, you done fucked up. you engaged in an argument on the internet and are now butthurt and -1 "friend" (if he ditches you that easily can he be called a friend?) Our entire civilization is built upon abusing and taking advantage of fellow human beings. Doesn't mean that it is respectable, it just means that our whole civilization is based on things that we would rather that it wasn't, buuuuut whatcha gonna do? I do however agree with your sentiment. TRP is about knowledge(power) and how to apply that knowledge out in the real world. Be it for offensive or defensive purposes. Excellent post! One thing tho: Ps. Sorry, if my English isn’t good. Still developing it. I have some advice for you if you want it. A good rule of thumb is to never apologize up front, unless you did a bad or damaging thing and perhaps even then (bad grammar/language use is neither). To apologize up front is to signal that you are weak and lack the self-assurance. Best display of Confident/Unsure body-language i have seen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f69FJ55rnOY

Sorry to hear that, but probably the correct course of action, at least until you get some distance. Allowing stagnant people to be a part of your life is a poison pill no one can afford to take. They feel threatened and victimized by your growth and will inevitably retaliate in some way.

Don't be so hard on your father. He should absolutely be hard on people who refuse to improve their lot in life, who are passive doormats. He can have empathy for them and realize that in his world much was set against him, but in the end he caved and should not be looked up to. He should also however know that in all probability his father is the person who loves him most in this world and be thankful to the man who raised him and gave him a home. I echo oldredders sentiment, but would like to add to it. From what I can tell the big problem is that you seem to only be focusing on sex. Sex is great but for the same reason you don't eat cake for every meal you shouldn't focus solely on sex. I think you should start thinking about what else you can do to improve your life. A fulfilling life if filled with numerous cool activities, hobbies and accomplishments, nurturing relationships and of course sex. It is time to build a fulfilling life no…

got any quick and easy examples for that? How is it best to be non-conformist in a constructive manner? What GLO suggested is quick, it takes little effort and uses your downtime (waiting somewhere / bored). The benefits are that you are getting thicker skin and manufacturing stories bottom line, people will get offended but they will get offended almost no matter what you do, the trick is not to care.

Good for you! An attitude of "Who is gonna stop me?" fosters personal power and confidence like no other thing I know of and since you liked that one let me share another with you: Success is no longer defined by the outcome. It is defined by how little I care. this is the mantra of the truly free man. May you use what you gain to rise like the phoenix.

Your behavior now communicates that you are a winner, whereas it used to communicate that you were a loser. People love winners and despise losers. It's as if, we don't get what we deserve, we get what we demand So true, the question held in your mind 24/7 should be "who is gonna stop me?" instead of (like most of us were taught) "who is gonna let me?". The real takeaway here is that in a very real way you have direct control over how others see you.

she'll find another beta to comfort her and that is bad because? She is a plate not a GF, LTR, Wife or a Soul-MateTM. He has no emotional investment so it will likely not be a blow for him if she drops out of his orbit. He can fuck her and the beta can be her tampon and in the unlikely event she starts dating a beta (she is 22, the wall is ways away) she will, in all likelihood, not get tingles from him (see above re: beta) and come running back to OP (perhaps on the side).

Nah. His 3rd(?) son was voted Khan after Ghenghis and ruled the empire for some time. Then he died unexpectedly and with out a clear successor and Ghenghis' grandson (by his first son) refused for 7 years to come to the council witch would choose a new Khan (he was needed there for legal reasons) so eventually they did the whole thing without him. Then that successor died unexpectedly (seeing a pattern?) witch lead to another crisis of succession and at this point things really start to fracture…

I agree with what you are saying, moralizing has no place on TRP and your examples are a testament to that, but this here in inaccurate: it pretty much fell apart upon his death It didn't fall apart until after the election of his 3rd successor and even then his descendants ruled china for a long time after that, becoming one of the official dynasties. Being a "Nice guy" is very different from being nice. A "Nice guy" is a deceitful, manipulative, self-deluded and a coward who seldom adds value to the lifes of the people around him. Someone who is nice does good things because he wants to and derives pleasure from it. A "Nice guy" gives you a gift with strings attached, someone who is nice gives you a gift sans strings. (read No more mr. nice guy for a through explanation)

Sounds a lot like Nice Guy mentality to me. I disagree, here's why: This philosophy isn't about being nice or doing for others. It is is about cultivating happiness. The method rests on 3 axis. Relationships: Sex vs Friendship: Friendship is more important than sex, to most men. If you were to give up one, sex with women or friendships with men, witch would you choose? Work: Money vs Meaning: Having work that gives you great pleasure to do and is fulfilling is more important than money. Now, mo…

An intelligent 7.5/10 with a pleasant demeanor and a good personality, who can cook, is a monster in the sack and good company is FAR AND AWAY a better choice for a LTR than a 10/10 who "just lies there" and checks facebook. Long story short: 7.5 with good qualities >>> a 10/10 with none qualities. tl:dr; we will choose to fuck her (10) but wife you (7.5), and love you long time.

I hate that it affects him If you had a broken arm/collarbone/femur/etc. and sex really hurt you, would your husband pressure you to have sex with him? Most men love to take care of our loved ones when they need it and we accept the reality of the situation. If you did choose a good captain just tell him that you really love him but the damn fertility treatment is causing some havoc and give him a passionate kiss. Well, no. The fall of the roman republic had much more to do with political infighting and economics and the fall of the western-roman empire happened well after the hypergamous nature of roman women took over. After Rome became the ruling power in the Mediterranean it became fantastically wealthy, standards of living rose and standards of morality declined. By the time of Augustus it was so bad that there was bachelor tax and strict laws against adultery and he was even forced to exile one of h…

Thanks. Many people here seem to lack the understanding of basic red pill concepts. They have yet to shed much of their BP thought patterns and seem to assume alpha = "the good man" like the hero in a fairy tale or "someone I can respect and want to emulate". The volume under a bell curve is going to be the same regardless of its distribution on the topic of gender extremes but that's beside the issue I was raising. This is a bad argument, poorly made. Strength and Independence are positive qualities in a man, it is female projection that confuses them and makes them think that men find those attributes attractive. A woman saying: "I'm a strong and independent woman" is the same as a man saying: "I'm an emotional and kind man" (nice joke tho)

The king, for what ever reason, has that education and the power of being a king and by those very qualities IS MORE VALUABLE than the peasant. Any peasant can be a better man than any king. Who gives a shit? Go lurk moar. Sidebar is over there ---->

For what it's worth: I read somewhere that Asbergers/Autism isn't lack of empathy. Supposedly it is a hyper reaction to emotional stimuli or in other words hyper-empathy(to under stand their reaction think electric shock or sudden loud sounds). This forces sufferers to "dampen" down their empathic response as a survival strategy and sadly this can't be done selectively so everything gets dampened. Therefore (if true) not equal to sociopathy but an opposite of it. If true it would go a long way t…

Don't quote me on this since I'm going on from memory. China has a long history of strong central power. TheRedPill isn't a movement. It is a set of intellectual frameworks that aim to explain some of human behavior. In short there is no "community" or "movement" just a bunch of people who are interested in this subject and this approach to gender relations. In short: Mathematicians do not care what the uneducated think of their theories, the wolf cares not for the opinion of the sheep.

This theory doesn't make sense. It assumes things (that cultural attitudes of the 20-21st have always been i.e. "sticking it to the man") that don't really hold up to scrutiny. The theory that most men here on TRP assume is that in a tribal setting (the setting for most of our evolutionary history) women are more valuable than the men. Each and every woman is needed for the next generation, both bearing and rearing the big headed underdeveloped and helpless little bundles of joy, thereby forcing…

The interest in TRP is a reaction to the societal changes that we have witnessed since the 1960's, i.e. women acquiring more and more male privileges with the responsibilities still firmly on the male side. The culture has changed and there is now a power imbalance but the cultural myths don't reflect this. Many men feel this on some level and they find it verbalized in TRP. tl;dr: the world changed and society is still telling men to be the 1950's version of men, only with all of the sacrifices…

"women/the world are this way, realize that and act", could/is there another movement that uses the framing "men/the world are this way, realize that and act" One thing that TRP is, is a non-PC filtered look at the world, it is therefore a non-gender based viewpoint. The reason only men seem to seek out TRP is that the societal myths (memes) that are in vogue are counter to men's interests. In other words TRP is interested in the statement: "men/the world are this way, realize that and act" but …

For the newbies still on the fence who might still think that TRP = Feminism for men: This post right here demonstrates the main diffenerce between feminism and TRP i.e. RPman tries to understand the problem and then changes him self accordingly. That was an unusually coherent and intelligent response from someone who "wandered into TRP" , thank you. First, much of TRP discussion will be harsh and unpalatable some, we deal in generalities and there is no room for "but I'm not like that" counter points. As for "all women" a big part of TRP is deprogramming the societal "women can do no wrong" meme that men are indoctrinated with and replacing it with "all women are like [insert characteristic that majority of women exhibit]". The implication of taking the red pill is that you reject the lies necessary to maintain men's role in the social contract. I think it's foolish to view religion and science as opposites Well they aren't parallels and that's for damn sure. Religion can give you the warm fuzzies while science has no regard for your personal opinions(sound familiar?). The truth is not negotiable. Any blind faith in an ideology (TRP included) is dangerous because it assumes what you believe to be true. The difference between science and religion is that one assumes to know the truth and the other assumes to know only what is not true.

But I am trying to get people to come here My advise: don't. Most people don't want to wake up and will hate you for not letting them sleep. But if you are adamant about it then learn the material (sidebar + lurk for a month or 2 and then start participating) and then live it. Then you are in a position of someone with experience and not some noob who has just learned how to count.

Well there is a difference between wearing an Armani suit and business casual in an environment where the norm is jeans and a T-shirt, i.e. you don't wear a suit to the mailroom, but you might wear a nice shirt and shoes. The quote should be "Dress better than the norm" just like you don't have to be the most alpha on the planet, just the most alpha in your area.

Almost nothing. That being said, being nicely dressed and groomed will change peoples reactions to you and start that nice postitive feedback loop (same reason they say, "dress for the job you want not the one you have"). Dressing nice is no substitute for game but it will help. There are no shortcuts in life.

This is a bullshit reply. Asteroids are outside our control and so are genetics. The risk of cancer can be influenced by the individual but there are also factors that the individual has no control over. However walking alone down a street in the bad part of town is the result of poor choices and so is catering to the whims of your spouse and so is our lifestyle. And even when the deck is stacked against you, you can still fight by taking responsibility for your life and your actions.

Happiness is a myth sold to us by Hollywood and soap salesmen. Happiness is a shadow that is hard to catch and even harder to hold on to. Probably more than half. And of course sexual frustration is a part of the problem but the nature of the anger isn't one of denial, it is one of discovering the truth and being pissed. That is how we are getting the constant influx of new RPers. I'm not talking about in other subreddits. He's referring to how many who take TRP become angry and then articulate that anger here. He is however mistaken in the cause of that anger. It is not caused by sexual frustration but by the realization that men have been lied to about what methods to use in order to remove said frustration.

You have received some solid advise here from the ladies and hopefully it will help you. But coming here instead of going with this problem directly to TRP indicates weakness. You seem to value the opinion of women to highly, because you are desperate to please them and be good and kind and loving(who doesn't want to be good to the women in their lives? But you are not giving her what she wants and needs from the relationship when you are soft/mushy). The problem is that your (internalized)model…

[...] I laid it on too thick by saying that I think hypergamy is only nurture where it's probably a little of both. Hypergamy is a perfectly natural behavior observable in a vast majority of complex organisms on planet Earth. Females choose the best male to copulate with(definition of hypergamy) to maximize the chances of producing fit offsprings. So hypergamy is fundamentally a natural behavior and an optimal mating strategy. Monogamy however is not. Monogamy is nurture based behavior, if it wa…

'compimenting' and 'roles' define those terms as you understand them. Who? Me? Ok, why not. During our evolution there were 2 limiting factors (allot more really but please ignore this vast simplification for the sake of brevity). Food and women. You have already received all the advice you'll need. So I'll do something different. I love that you didn't say that you envy those you mentioned. Many (women mostly but some men as well) would feel bitter that others have it better than them and would like to take those good things away from those they envy. People used to have kids when they were 12-15. Now, I'm certainly not suggesting we return to that, but the reason why people aren't mentally ready today is because society has reinforced the idea that they shouldn't be. Color me skeptical. That being said I know women in the pre-industrial world had children at a much earlier age. For example the eligible age for marriage in Rome was 16 years. But 12-15 seems way to young especially considering that the age of puberty has been declining over th…

he fundamental premise of TRP is making yourself into a better person to attract higher quality partners I agree with your criticism of this quote. Mating success in females is less connected with drive, determination and ambition than in males so we have fewer driven, determined and ambitious women. The glass ceiling is one of natures cruel little practical-jokes played on civilization, sadly the punchline is hidden from us so we remain in a state of limbo.

According to the 100th monkey effect a paradigm shift might be coming. Ever more men are turning to the red pill. Be it 5 years or 10 or 50(i hope not). You will know that the paradigm shift is happening once you hear people discussing TRP in public and after that it's just a matter of time. Narcissism is good. I'm assuming that this is not a troll post, because if it is then my response is quite silly. ....and i want to go on a rant so here goes: Narcissism, like genocide, is understood to be a BAD thing in our everyday common language. So in short: Narcissism = Rejection of reality. 'Healthy…

"Fulfill your needs and be happy" should be the motto of every individual. And with out a doubt some people will be happy within the power dynamic of feminism. However it is not a convinient system to build a society on. My point is simply that TRP should take care not to make the same mistake that feminists did by applying the brush strokes too broadly. Built into TRP (for the time being) is the relentless search for "what works" and not "what should work". It is a philosophy of learning by doi…

The shortest answer i know is: men are more like other men than women. a slightly longer answer is: Sexual dimorphism hints at a non-equal but complementary relationship between men and women. It's not a 50/50 type of relationship but one more akin to the yin-yang. A specialisation in one area and the neglect of another. Many studies show how male and female brains react differently to various stimuli, this of course doesn't mean that there are no outliers. But by definition those people are rar…

my 2 cents. You value your money(time) more than her company and (supposed)approval. If you have a strong sense of self this will come naturally so some inner-game is perhaps in order. Alternatively you could focus on why you get the "feeling" you "need" to pay for everything and examine that. Best way to do that is to put your self in situations where that feeling arises (in your case on a date). Make mental notes, write them down and examine them, perhaps with a trusted someone to bounce ideas…

To me the silent treatment is just women projecting and using them selfs as a frame of reference in their dealings with men. They crave attention to a much greater degree than men and so one of the worst things that happens to a woman is to deprive them of that attention. They then use that tactic on us believing it to be more effective than it is. Men are of course guilty of similar projecting behavior (dick pics anyone?).
