Picking a fight with a dude who may be very drunk and potentially getting glassed in the face and losing an eye or 'king hit' (sucker punch in other countries) and dying is not worth any girl you don't really know at all.

Not really "rather" more like "in addition to". Generally we need an equal or greater amount of vegetable matter by mass (not including water content) to counteract negative effects of meat consumption. The easiest way to conceptualize it is that meat more-or-less contains all the stuff we're made of; however, it also contains most of the bad stuff that already needs to be filtered out of the meat that makes up your own body by internal organs, primarily the liver & kidneys. Indigestible fibre d…

That's exactly the same reason people don't properly understand egoism as a lifestyle. Treating yourself as the most important thing in your life doesn't mean that you have to be an asshole to everyone for personal gain. It means that you want other people to be happy because it makes you happy that they are happy, not because they deserve it or are somehow owed happiness.

Honestly I've never thought of him as being particularly attractive physically, and there's nothing that prevents your outward behaviour from being exactly the same as anyone else despite any internal mental differences between people. While it's true that both men and women judge appearance, it's far more important for men in determining attractiveness because we are wired to look for fertility primarily, with general health & genetics secondary whereas women are primarily predisposed to look f…

Yeah that's the main inhibiting factor as far as the strategy goes, but consider situations where it's the early hours of the morning and you're in the only club still open or you're at a club earlier than most people and it's still rather empty. Either way there aren't many sets available. In the late version most people have grouped up already and of the few sets left you're only attracted to some of them. In the early version there just aren't many girls yet, you've got to work with what's th…

It's at least part of the difference between "cute" attractive and "sexy" attractive that girls might be when considered from our perspective. A similar effect occurs with accents, a good example being a girl with a Russian or possibly German accent is much more likely to sound sexy than cute, simply because the accents themselves aren't very cute. On the other hand an indian (from India) accent is going to make it tough to sound sexy.

As an alternative suggestion, you could also try verbally acknowledging the rejection and then starting to build rapport as if you had never 'asked the question' (trying to keep it general here) that was answered 'no'. Note that this technique could be called ploughing, but that probably means different things to different people, so it's better to just define it and avoid confusion. This is especially valid for situations where you're shot down unusually early, if you're strongly attracted to t…

In my opinion it's even better for the simple example to also include something like "have a great day/night". This way it gives the impression of actually not being offended/hurt rather than the possible appearance of outwardly being courteous/neutral to mask negative feelings, which is not that unexpected for men in the given context because of the social expectation to not outwardly express emotions that are considered feminine ('men don't cry').

girls usually know what is creepy, cute, etc. No. They really don't. The closest you'll get is that they think they know those things, which is probably worse because it's misleading. As for your main question, what you're talking about is a normal thing. All of the well known PUA guys/coaches/whatever have said that they still get AA and that it's not something that goes away, so it doesn't really matter how confident, eloquent or unafraid you are. What you're describing is being in state vs. n…

I would agree that most people don't seem to be good at or enjoy intellectual conversations, which is annoying for me because I enjoy explaining things to people (seriously like any topic to anyone) and when the topic is too "scientific" for lack of a better classification it's common to literally see people tune out. And that's why I generally only do it to people which I don't care about making bored.

The most obvious and probably easiest way to do this would be to give legitimate reasons (true or not) to allow you to drop out of contact most of the time and then intermittently drop back into contact briefly when you're "waiting for a friend at an awesome party" or "taking a break from scuba diving" every time which will give the impression that you do fun things all the time and be funny/charming during the short chat. Be cautious though and read about windows of attraction. The main risk is…

Try to think and behave like an egoist if you aren't one naturally. Ethical, rational or psychological egoism are all fine and it's possible to be all 3 with a splash of cognitive dissonance, but the only difference is the "why" of the position rather than the views. If you either actually internalize an egoist philosophy or manage to develop a consistent conditioned response then you should find yourself in the "boyfriend zone" less or never if that's what you feel is most in your interest. Bas…

Also works to ask only yes or no questions and then reply with only "Yes?" or "No?" as a followup question and "Yes." or "No." as an answer to any incoming questions or to add flavour to your lively conversation. It's worth noting that excuses might not always be because the girl doesn't want to go out with you. Might be moving away from what the OP said but consider a situation where you ask a girl out to something specific, like the beach for example, and she makes excuses and declines, however she was actually declining because she's self-conscious about either wearing a bathing suit in front of you, other people or both and would have liked to go out some other place if it had been proposed. Just keep in mind one simple fact if you ever feel "creepy". 1. it is impossible to be a creep if you are honest, direct and genuine When it comes right down to it, the "creep" is the same as the archetypical "alpha" in every aspect aside from behavior, and usually only in a social interaction. The difference is that the alpha is direct and usually prompt in approaching, conveys his intent and doesn't conceal any desires. Also, girls running away sound hilarious. It hasn't happened to me yet but…

Easiest strategy is to turn up early, in my experience more people than you might think arrive early for classes and this is a good opportunity to make conversation if you don't have that option during class if it's the type with group conversation or something. Not a situation that'll always be available obviously but it's better than nothing.

Being attractive gives the poorer kind of confidence because it's an externally focused idea that is based on your perception of yourself in the way you imagine others perceive you. The same is true for confidence generated from things like success (especially with women), positive reinforcement from others and so on. The problem with this isn't that the actual confidence is different, it's that as a result of being externally sourced it can also be lost or impacted by external influences. That'…

Well yeah, I was on my phone so it was harder to give a better explanation. What I meant was that what I said in the first sentence assumed that it was a deliberate tactic as answer to that part of the question. Obviously doing it unintentionally is going to have the same effect, as doing it deliberately is essentially an attempt to emulate the unintentional (i.e. "natural") approach.

Challenge her with a question which forces her to invest emotionally. Usually the best way to do that is to create pressure by saying something like "Really?" with a closed tone when she answers to make her doubt her answer. Make sure you react positively to her second answer though, or it'll work against you.

Good list, the explanations are helpful without getting too long. About the work hard point, I'd argue the only thing better, by the outcomes you mentioned at least, is to appear to do no work at all while still succeeding (especially if you beat people who look like they are trying) Obviously not everyone can do this but other people generally start to talk as if you have some kind of mystical gift at what ever it is you're doing.

Have you tried any sort of physical combat sport? Sounds like you may have distanced yourself from the problem both with isolation and time but never really resolved it. Becoming proficient at fighting may allow you to overcome your fear by making it virtually impossible to re-occur while you're confident that you would win in an all out fight against the woman you open up to.

I'm not really talking about situational advice, more the various schools of thought that exist within the seddit community. Think about the people who are pro text game or anti text game, guys who prefer night game or day game, going solo or rolling with wings, using routines or avoiding them et cetera. He's got the level of practice/experience required to achieve a state of exceptional awareness to his external social environment which calibrates him to what's going on because 99.9% of the time he's seen it before, knows why it's happening the way it is and probably to an extent knows how it will turn out based on the actions he could take. No I wasn't saying that they wouldn't figure it out, more that talking about "pretty girls" on the internet is probably just as bad or the thing that she'd be upset by rather than the terminology used. Also, that was supposed to be a semi-joke. The internet doesn't support that file format properly as I'm sure you're aware.

There are lots of strategies (often directly conflicting) for text game and this is just one of them. What you're describing already has a name, it's called building comfort and is often criticized for excessive non-face to face interaction, of which text-only is the worst, followed by voice then video (with sound) which obviously lacks any of the physicality (such as kino, body language, mirroring, eye contact, physical closeness etc.) of a normal interaction

won't come back to bite you in the ass if your girlfriend ever stumbles upon your posting history Yeah because talking about pretty girls in plain English is way better than abbreviations that leave you with something more like simple code given that context. The problem isn't that there's not enough/good enough moderation or good/bad advice. It's that advice is subjective and people are different. Something that works for one person might not work for someone else and may actually decrease their success in some cases. Having said that, it's much harder to moderate advice in this context because as I mentioned it's not "bad advice vs. good advice" it's "advice that doesn't work for you vs. advice that does work for you" where the works for you variab…

Good list, although I'm feeling a lot of "Do" and not so much "How". Lots of these points are fairly obvious, but for someone that's not doing them already it's much more important to learn how to do them rather than learn that they should do them. Obviously that doesn't apply to every point here (e.g. talking about your own mistakes before criticizing is all that's needed as instructions) but certainly a fair proportion of them, such as calling attention to other people's mistakes indirectly. Eh doesn't sound like you have it too bad. If you get a response and manage to set up a date you'll have an opportunity to move past that high interaction assuming it even caused any problems for you (since you said she got high too and all). Also, in addition to increased energy/drive, cocaine will increase your AA if you take it before you're warmed up because it stimulates the parts of the brain responsible for executive function, which leads to increased inhibition. I'm totally bizarre when talking to people, especially for the first time. Happens with everyone, though more with girls since it comes out more when I'm aiming to be interesting/funny and am high energy. I think the best target for someone who is going to own their weirdness is to aim for Raoul Duke level bizarre, because it's hard to be more awesome than that.

Never hesitate (holding out your arm and not going for it/taking too long), they can tell and it's ALWAYS weird. If you're going to do it (without hesitating) and you're worried about it feeling weird, just move quickly enough afterwards that she can't react to it. Think of how a hug feels normally and when it goes too long, that's what I mean by reaction.

I'd be more the fact that you actually approach and interact with women as well as not being bad at talking to them. Doing this without knowing about seduction/pick up is generally what would qualify you to be a "natural".
/r/seduction20/02/13 10:53 AM

I'd agree it's not exactly "antiquated" but it's definitely something that by now a significant number of women have read, so a lot of the content (as in actual material/routines) can't be directly applied without the chance that it will be recognised. It can potentially increase the chances of blowing out depending on the woman, which can be a big problem for those guys that would get thrown out of state. If you do do it though, at least try and modify them a little.

Be funny and attractive. Actually, don't be less funny or attractive than you have been previously, since it got you the date after all. It's just rationalization. She wanted you, couldn't have you and therefore "didn't want you any more" and "lost interest". When you were together where she interpreted it as a date and got what she wanted, she had to justify it after having not "wanted you any more" so she projects her desire for a relationship between you onto you to make it acceptable.

Theoretically speaking it should be easier to get same day sex from day game since you're working with a receptive girl that doesn't have all that club mode resistance/roadblocking going on. The issue is that she's also much further from expecting the sexing, though if you could work out how to fix that it should work better.

What that statement actually means is "Better during the day, easier to do at night" It's technically more challenging to meet women during the day but it will be more effective by comparison, which means that once you get used to it through practice it will end up as the more effective option.

Okay, chasing is the "action" that results from the "status" of being needy. The opposite of that is being aloof and unavailable, which shows that you don't need her. To get into a relationship without chasing, you need to change the paradigm of the relationship so that she is the one chasing you rather than the opposite, which is what virtually every guy is doing. This is how you end up with the wife who supports you and adores you, she will feel she's lucky to have you because of the feeling t…

Almost all guys will want to have sex with his female friends if he finds them attractive. He obviously finds you attractive. To make the sexing happen, just don't resist when he gets there. I'm not even sure what the question is here, there's no approaching, he's already done that. I don't see where you've getting too afraid from, since he wouldn't have texted if that were true.

It's also related to the kind of person they are. Personally I'm the kind of person that tries to find as much information as I can before resorting to asking questions but people of the other kind will ask questions before even thinking to research.

Yes, but think of it like this: Physical/Aesthetic attractiveness - 20-40% Genetic quality (partially related); facial symmetry, height, intelligence etcetera - 10-30% Lifestyle; sociality, wealth, entertainment/activity - 15-40% From these things imagine you can make up to a maximum of roughly 60%. The proportions of that 60% are different from woman to woman, so that's why there are girls who care about one thing more than others. The other 40% of the full 100% attraction is what you're doing …

The truth is that in the age range (roughly 13-17) you're currently moving though, you're just not ready for seduction as it is when it has been developed for older women. You say that a kiss is dramatic? Exactly. That is evidence that your age group is not ready for what is beyond that, as if they were a kiss would be boring. You're only 15 and you could have gotten a chick pregnant. What if she had decided to keep the baby? What if she kept drinking while pregnant? Do you have the means to pay…

You go through that stuff while she is still just that girl you really like. If you do it right, you can move from that into a regular (note: not average) relationship and keep all of the favourable traits that you instilled while you were building her attraction. The fact that you think that logically a girlfriend (or boyfriend) would emotionally manipulate their partner with false jealousy in an exclusive relationship (assumed by the way that you said it) for an increase in interest shows that…

That's exactly what I'm talking about. A girl that you "actually" like shouldn't be receiving special treatment... or rather all of the other girls should be treated equally. Just because you find yourself thinking about a relationship with a girl doesn't mean that you should abandon everything learned from pick up. In fact you should be making an effort to keep your game tighter because you want to succeed more than usual.

Being a leader doesn't mean knowing what to do. Being a leader means that you take charge and lead other people. Be the initiator, the one to get the plan in motion and always follow through with it. Pull strangers into your plans at will by getting them engaged and then extending an invite. This is also very "high value" behaviour, though honestly I'm not sure if that's important information.

Good advice for attitude, poor advice for seduction. Never chase girls. Just don't do it. Even if if you manage to work it into a relationship, you've already set the dynamic for the interactions between you and her and it won't be what you wanted.

Qualification. Ask a question, doesn't matter what it is. "Cats or dogs?" She doesn't know which answer is 'right' so it creates pressure. Then when she replies "Cats" (it doesn't matter what she says) you say "Really?" which increases the pressure. Now when she says "Dogs... wait no cats" (again doesn't matter) she has invested and that creates an emotional impact. You can't leave it at that though, you then have to release the pressure and reward her for doing what you wanted. "Good, I'm a cat…

Prejudice is a defence mechanism that exists to protect from harmful or unpleasant situations by recognising similarity to previous negative experiences. Social animals also share their experiences, meaning that the negative experience of one can be transferred to another through communication. Drop it cold for probably a week at least (basically just guess at it dropping from her fresh memory), then send a restart text in which you don't relate back to the previous conversation at all. There are drugs which do cause increased sexual sensitivity, amphetamine does it for me (in addition to boosting libido and causing very slight erectile dysfunction*) and that's just a side effect. *due to norepinephrine causing a fight-or-flight like state, which causes inhibition of erections, amongst other things. Not sure why you're getting downvotes, that's actually probably correct. Drugs that cause euphoria almost always only do so when taken in a highly direct way (i.e. intravenously or sometimes insufflation) rather than less direct (like ingestion) because the euphoric sensation is usually caused by the sudden onset of the effects rather than the effects themselves.

Asking gives her the impression she has the upper hand, and that's important. Which is helpful how exactly? Guys are supposed to be maintaining higher value to reinforce that the girl is the one who is lucky to be with him rather than the other way around. Honestly if the amount of pressure from someone neutrally saying "Give me your number" is enough to make you do it when you don't want to that's really your fault for being such a doormat.

Constant reposts (content may be different, message is the same). People talk strategy as if they're theory-crafting a role-playing game where people and reactions are even close to precise. Misrepresentative unity of opinion caused by a majority shared opinion in a system where they can effectively eliminate minorities (i.e. downvoting).

Girls are SUPER different when it comes to tastes. This a thousand times, my favourite example is guys with long hair, some girls just straight out don't like it but others prefer it to short hair, while the majority only perceive an increase in attraction for guys that can "pull it off". 90% of the time pulling it off is literally just hygiene and grooming. Pulling it off is having clean, healthy hair that looks nice, smells nice and feels nice. Not pulling it off is that greasy dirty looking m…

You may be at a disadvantage sure, people aren't equal, but if you keep trying consistently for long enough, you will get "the best". But the reason it's not working is because you need to work on yourself. You may never reach the same levels of attractiveness (not just aesthetics) as other people, but it's not about them so don't make comparisons. There is always a way to improve your attractiveness because it's pretty much impossible to reach a point where you can no longer get more attractive…

You're exactly right, most people are serious on these sites and that's why it's what you shouldn't be doing. 1 rule is to not make your profile serious, it causes Facebook syndrome (i.e. all mystery gone). Make it as funny and awesome as you can without going so far as to make it look like a joke profile. Dating sites are to set up your date IRL not to try and do it online. P.S. the usual sites are okcupid and plentyoffish.

The use of the word 'Suffering' in this context (Translation of Dhukka) isn't an accurate translation due to the connotations it carries in English. It is the word for that feeling that you should feel happy but don't, that sensation you have when something changes and something that once made you happy no longer does or vice versa. The feeling that there has to be something more than this. IMO the best translation is 'Dissatisfaction', though suffering is by far the most widely used.

This is correct, however you should instead say "sexy" in place of "cute" or "pretty". The main reason is because this will make the interaction more sexual from the beginning, removing any ambiguity from your position, which is conducive when running direct game. The second point is that these are the words that are lavished upon any reasonably attractive woman by the afcs and chodes that hang around leaving compliments on her Facebook page or praising her and buying her drinks at bars.

I'm in a similar position actually and it seems that the only real options in this situation are to either find a decent job so you can start doing activities and night game or you can just try to work your way up with baby steps (body language, eye contact etc.) in order to eventually start cold approaching. Repeat up to 9-in/10-out and then restart at 1-in on the next inhalation (it's actually not easy, you really have to concentrate to not pass 10 and the cycle is short enough that you have to maintain this concentration). Alternatively you can use any system you prefer or invent one that works for you, another I've used is counting 1-5 on the breath in and 6-10 on the breath out and repeating (though you could set a limit at say 30 before restarting if you choose).

Absolutely jack squat. But that's okay, I'm 18, 19 in July, and I don't go out at all because I have no money, can't drive and live with my parents and little sister (in high school). I'm busy trying to find a good job but it's hard because I have no work experience that I can put on a resume even though I'm fairly confident that I could do almost any job passably within a week once I've been told what I have to do. I am ultimately aiming to move out and live completely independently, which is h…

Ben Stein doesn't have a monotone voice, he just lacks variation in pitch and when he does vary it, it's not by very much. His tempo and articulation are actually very lively and it would have been pretty much impossible for him to have led the career that he has if his voice was truly monotone.

I never said anything that implied it was an unhealthy definition, by "masculine pride" I was referring to something more like "having or characterized by qualities considered manly" as it says in the first definition of your first link. Still, what I said about it being impossible for women to be confident if Macho equals confidence is still true, as the entire concept of Macho or Machismo is essentially tied to being manly/masculine.

Being confident is not macho, otherwise it would be impossible for women to be confident. Being "Macho", by definition, is to be characterized by "Machismo". Machismo is defined as a strong or exaggerated feeling of "masculine pride" or "aggressive pride". Being confident is as simple as knowing without ANY doubt that you're the most awesome person in the universe but that you're also no better than anyone else.

They are true for everyone, though the part about other people being better then you in some way is just your perception. That guy you think is so successful because he has a great job probably doesn't feel that way. He might have severe sexual dysfunction and won't ever be able to have sex, so he devotes all his time and effort to his job. He might be desperately unhappy because he works extremely hard to earn as much money as he can but he still can't afford even close to all of the things he …

This kind of slight, silly self-deprecation is actually incredibly useful to avoid coming off as an asshole in the way that was mentioned by the OP. You can also try something I've seen being called "anchoring". Basically whenever she's showing some sort of positive emotion like laughing/smiling etc. you just touch her in a certain place, like her arm for example. The aim is to create an unconscious link between that feeling and your touch so that you'll be able to make her feel that way just be touching her there.

Facebook will only fuck you up in the long run. It makes you too accessible and destroys any mystery by letting her see everything about you. That mystery is important because without it she won't feel the need to find out more about you through questions and interaction, which is what builds attraction. If you have to use the Internet, at least use a dating site like OkCupid or Plentyoffish where the girls are actually looking for a date, it will be much easier for you. TL;DR Stay the fuck away…

No. For either gender confidence is far more important then aesthetic attractiveness. Using pickup (from a male perspective) as an example, looks without confidence will never get you anywhere (speaking from experience :/) but confidence without looks still enables you to perform well consistently. With both confidence and good looks you would expect to do better then confident but less good looking people, though that's obvious. Also as a side note, mental/emotional instability (especially when…

You really just need to explain that you don't want to be tied down due to previous LTR and then you can polish it off by saying that you might consider entering a relationship if a girl manages to interest you enough. Don't worry, it was almost definitely due to the alcohol. The first sign that a substance is giving you slight erectile dysfunction is that you get soft much quicker then normal as soon as stimulation stops or slows down significantly. A suggestion though is that if you notice this happening, just pretend it isn't and start going down on her or something. You then have plenty of time (and stimulation) to get your soldier back to duty.

You really have to be smiling to pull this one off though, otherwise she'll just think you're really fucking high.

Good on you mate, this is the attitude that you need to have. It's her loss, all she's doing is losing her chance to be with an awesome guy like you to chase after an arrogant ass.

The almost mute thing will never work. Be friendly and outgoing but don't smile excessively, having at least a faint smile most of the time is fine though. Another way to avoid looking to eager (which is actually what people would call too friendly) is to relax and slow down. Speak slowly and calmly and don't reply immediately. Being too friendly would definitely be preferable to being the "silent type" though.

Try it and you'll see that you're wrong. Ever been in a situation where someone has said something about you and you've argued against them and then ended up insulting yourself (e.g. "He's not enough of a dick" "I am too enough of a dick!")? The girl will try and argue that she isn't doing what you've said she's doing because you're framing it negatively and as an accusation which they will want to deny, but in doing so she will inadvertently end up agreeing what ever she may have been trying to…

You can basically just use the same techniques as guys as far as inner game and approaching, which is all on the sidebar. Luckily for you, men are much easier to seduce then women, so in all likelihood that's all you'll need.

Her place, because I live with my parents and sleep on the top of a loud and unsteady wooden bunk bed that I've had since I was born, in a room filled with various items such as furniture and linen that aren't mine, including several bookcases containing large amounts of children's books. My dad and sister are awkward/weird enough to scare a decent proportion of girls away and my mother would at minimum try to start a long conversation with her about any random crap (I don't actually know what s…

First things to focus on: Total, unwavering self-confidence. It's difficult, but if you consciously make an effort to internalize the idea that you are completely confident and try to externalize it in your speech and behaviour, it will eventually become true as you gradually start to act and speak confidently by default. Once you start trying to build a confident manner and mentality you will need to act and speak accordingly in order for it to work properly. You might have been told to just "b…

Multiple benefits: Increased confidence due to better self-image. Increased (though subjective) physical attractiveness due to being in shape (duh). Increased energy efficiency, somewhat useful for spending longer amounts of time at the clubs and etc. Increased physical efficacy, being fit will always be better if you are invited to go hiking/dancing/roller disco or whatever else. And that's just what I can think of now.

It's easy to forget that day game doesn't have to be direct. It's much easier (for AA) to just sit down next to a girl you're interested in and start an interaction indirectly by making comments or asking simple questions about what she's doing/eating/whatever. Sitting next to them also has two other advantages. First, you're setting yourself up in close proximity, so there's no rapidly closing window of opportunity that you have to deal with. Second, you can open with "Hi, do you mind if I sit …

While that may be true to a degree, actually peacocking often makes you look ridiculous for no good reason. You can't walk around with representations of your actual skill, intelligence or creativity any more then you can just go around telling people how great you are without considerable preparation to keep yourself from looking like a totally self-centered douche. The part that is actually probably mostly accurate is that evolution will favour good storytellers because they will be the most i…

Related tip here for when/if you are ever labelled as a "player" (the definition of player that I know is someone who dates multiple girls and doesn't tell them) and happen to come across a girl that has that whole ridiculous "players are worse then illiterate cheating lepers with AIDS" attitude which I've seen occasionally. What I've found works in completely serious conversation (i.e. not the kind you should defuse with jokes) is to totally change the way she is thinking about it, which is pra…

Maybe it would help if we also pissed on girls houses and the bars or clubs that we frequent to establish our territory. Just kidding, dog behaviour in general is actually very good study for pickup because their social hierarchy is very similar to the way that human interaction tends to work from a purely social standpoint.

It's not being an ass to say that, there are evolutionary reasons for men and women to base initial worth on different characteristics. Women tend to judge men by their genetic potential, which is partly about attractiveness but more about other characteristics like confidence, facial symmetry, intelligence and so on. Men place a much higher importance on physical characteristics because our evolutionary conditioning has made us value fertility above almost everything else. This is why men lie w…

Also, more specifically you are making a major mistake with thoughts along the lines of "we both love doctor who and weed. plus she's pretty. she must be perfect." since by thinking that way you are giving her all of the power in your interactions. Instead you should try and stay out of your head or maintain thoughts that revolve around you rather then her.

It's the same situation as "Size doesn't matter" and "It's how you use it". Sure, having a big dick doesn't mean you know how to use it, but if you don't have a big dick it's not as if you can learn and practice until you do. Edit: Downvotes? You should be trying hard, just not in an immediate way that makes it obvious to other people. Basically you shouldn't be trying hard to be impressive/funny/etc. at a particular time or around a particular person, instead you should put in the hard work to improve those aspects of yourself beforehand so when it's necessary, it just comes naturally.
