First and foremost, I think you are doing great! Living in a poverty mentality is a real asset in our consumerism world. You will be so much more ahead than those who are spending everything they make or more. It is your relationship with money no one else's, so if you don't feel comfortable buying something then don't. You don't have to. It would be good if you could get a better return on your money through some form of investing though. You mention crypto, stocks, metals, etc...do you think r…

Thank You, it really sounds like you are very happy. I am also very happy, and as a physician you will be happy to know that since my divorce a year ago I have stopped having to take my blood pressure medicine just this last month. My BP is stable now every day!! I tried to date but it was just one psycho experience after another. I have sympathy for you, I just got a MGTOW shirt and have worn it twice, no on has said a word, yet I can't go to the gym wearing the "game of thrown's shirt" my daughter got me for christmas to the gym without a woman commenting how much she loves my shirt. It is so sad, I just walk on by them and ignore the comments from them.

I think you made a good decision, I remember reading in Steve Wynn's book one time about a situation with a blackjack dealer where the dealer could not figure out how to deal properly and the pit boss was like I don't know what to do? Steve asked does he come in early? Yes Does he stay late? Yes Does he work through his lunches? Yes, Steve said keep him you can't train that, you can teach him how to deal though. he ended up learning and being a great asset to the casino

It is far easier for me to control the situation/conversation now. "Shield" is the perfect analogy I have a policy of never to date or sleep with anyone I work with so it is very helpful. I paid $12.00USD for mine LOL...but it looks gold

I understand these men not wanting to get divorced....yet.....my ex was so manipulative that the children would have hated me if I would have left when I should have. But now they are closer to me than ever and completely understand and even have asked why didn't you leave sooner. I told them I did it for them and to be close to them. a "very little" REIT stuff, it was OK, But I also see a lot of volatility in the markets right now, large percentage swings and would like to know what investment strategy is good to capitalize on those? I have used the TVIX in the past when I saw drops coming with good results, but today seems so up and down and flat all at the same time, so using a covered call option strategy is limiting the growth opportunities a lot.

For my situation, I read the law in US State of Oregon, was that the woman gets to keep her wedding ring and the man gets to keep his wedding ring. But the rest of the jewelry was ours to split. She was pissed when we went through that, telling me that it was gifts and she should keep it. I said no it was part of marital assets.

LOL my EXW would always lift with her back with the box as far away from her core as she could get it, she would move 2 maybe 3 things then say how much her back hurt, when we split I moved all my shit out of the house before her just so I could laugh at the poor simps who would be over to help her move. Me and the kids still make fun of her moving shit to this day(lift like mom). And none of us will lift a finger to help anymore.

so true, before I became a nurse I was a Bankruptcy/Housing/Credit counselor from 2005-2014 and watched the 2008 crash. I have seen literally 1000's of people financial details and I tell people all the time it has less to do with what you are making and more to do with how much(%) you are saving.

I feel that way also sometimes. I wonder if it societal expectations placed upon me or is it really a deep feeling of wanting to love someone? I just cant bring myself to chase after women. I am also too honest of a person to lie to them, so just stringing them along would never work for me. I am really thinking a dog is in my future. Either way life is going pretty good and only blue skies on the horizon. The simple pleasure of looking forward to getting home after working a day of double time …

When I read about the PEERS who are working or travelling in foreign countries that makes me think, maybe I want to go there. Or when someone posts about the musical instrument they have purchased or the car they own(or whatever), it inspires me!! I want to live a fuller and richer life. I miss my oldest who is on her own and my friends, but the time away was really good to get my emotions on track and really begin to see what I want in life. Just signed the lease on the apartment today. I cant wait. Stay strong and keep making good choices.

A Monthly Budget, you always need to know how much is coming in vs. going out. Then you can save more to purchase assets that will make money for you. 7% rate of return is the average for stocks. Real estate can be higher or lower depending on location. Read as many investment books as you can, Charles Scwab and Peter Lynch have great strategies and good books for stocks, I like Dave Ramsey's approach to budgeting and real estate. Starting your own business is the best way to make as much money …

agreed....find your passion. If you are willing to work 80-120 hours a week, you can do anything you set your mind to. You know how to just knuckle down and succeed. Wanna be a single digit handicap in golf, wanna go to every continent, wanna go to space, or whatever you set your mind to? With that work ethic you will make it. Maybe you are gonna create that good, that is missing? Now, just figure out what you want and go get it.

So if I am reading this correctly, Men are the reason behind pornography and make-up? But only in a really bad way. So all the women who will be using their vibrators should blame that on men? (never hear men complain about vibrators replacing them, unlike sex-bots) All the women buying make up should also blame that on men because we are trying to get them to conform to our societal pressures?

I prefer the ghosting over blocking. To me blocking implies they can get back into your life somehow. I don't want my ex back in my life even a little. I don't even want to know she is trying to reach out to me. That is not a power I personally want. But my ex is crazy and a queen manipulator, so to me it is like a rabid animal, if I can drive around it I will. I won't even slow down.

I have not had this exact thing happen to me, but I have definitely had women treat me similar when I was asking a question such as, asking for directions somewhere or something like that. Which I would just respond with a disgusted look like why would I even talk to you unless I had too. Which then they are more than happy to tell me, but by this time I am walking to the next person. I have even had them follow me after I showed them discontent.

I empathize with you. I am recently divorced and she manipulated 99% of our so called friends into hating me, because it was "my fault" she cheated on me. I just wrote everything I want out of life down for the first time. It was very powerful. I still don't know if the list is finished but it is a good start.
