Congratulations, you have done more work and have more experience than 90% of the men on this planet! And it sounds like you learned something, too. On to the next.

I've always stood by the opinion that you can get girls to say things over text they'd be too nervous to say out loud. One man's opinion based on his own successes, though.

That's awesome dude. Anytime I tell people how much I love learning and discussing things like this on seddit, they assume it's all about just picking up girls for one-night stands. I like that some of us have it down to more of an art or a science to finding beautiful women that are worth having in one's life. Nothing against the guys who are out just trying to get some lovin', to each his own. Seduction really is a rich, beautiful process, though.

Thank you from saving me from a sudden growing fear that every other dude on seddit was a fratty-ass bro just trying to fuck sloppy chicks... I was scared for a second. I mean if that's your style for getting women, go for it... I prefer to interact in a one on one basis and seduce girls with my personality rather than my reputation or the reputation of a group I associate myself with. And you don't have to be out raging at a house party every weekend to get laid or make female friends.

I'd have to disagree, once the girl feels comfortable and it's obvious you're into each other, some girls will take your lead on steamy sexting. Obviously you need to build some rapport and intimacy first, but it's a great way to escalate things with a girl who you're working on a little bit more long term. I think some girls feel safer saying things in writing from a distance they would never say in person.

The Weeknd is awesome. If the girl's freaky, I like putting on dubstep. Almost all of it is in the 140 bpm range which I swear is the natural tempo of good sex. Finding a good DJ mix can be awesome because the music will be completely seamless and the tempo stays in the same range. Maybe it's a musician thing but I like keeping in time hahah.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" Used that the other day but I had already known the girl for a bit and knew she would laugh, might not work for everyone! I used to have trouble with this, too, but I think a good pattern if a girl is continuing the flirtation is to be gracious the first time, cocky, the second, then gracious again, and so on

I'm 20, couple months away from 21. I've been a little disappointed since a lot of the advice here seems like it is geared towards/would work the best in a 21+ venue setting, but on the other hand, I feel like I have a fully loaded arsenal for my birthday in February :) I think everyone can learn here regardless of age. The younger you are, the bigger the advantage you're going to have over your peers.

It's funny all the parallels between the sales world and seduction, I posted something along the exact same lines yesterday. I very much like your approach on emotional seduction, which nearly always gets you the same results as a one night stand and is way more fun and intellectually stimulating. Upvote for you!

It is if it's used as an excuse, there's nothing inherently wrong with owning the fact that you are one way as opposed to another. Introversion and Extroversion are on a scale though, it's not a black and white issue. I need at least a couple hours a day to recharge my batteries, but I consider myself a much better conversationalist than 90% of the people I meet at parties.

I've gotten hung up a lot on approaching women at my condo complex, I'm lucky enough to live here as a 20 yr old when most of the attractive women look to be at least 23. I'll be checking back as well.

The 6 people who downvoted this are definitely not having any success with women. Nice work dude! Women with that attitude are very plentiful at the university I'm at, they should not be indulged.

Awesome post brother. I know I've fallen into this trap a ton, especially in high school. I've gotten better in college, but accessing something like this that's in your subconscious and moving it to the front of your brain seems like it will be very empowering. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Good advice all around! Being this type of person myself, though, I did benefit a lot from pushing myself to engage people, but I find once I get people to open up, I can revert to sitting back and entering "listening mode," which tends to make even people I don't like very much like me because I appear to be so attentive. Works well with women and men. Nice to hear from a like-minded individual, good post.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
