I think what I want to do is pay for alimony for 5 years and pay for her to go to school. That's it... this way she can go back to school and get an education if she wants. I want a stay at home wife that takes care of the kids.

You can't get a girl from Thailand, PH, or Colombia to just come to the US. It's not happening. The US doesn't just hand out visas like that.
/r/MensRights08/03/24 07:39 PM
1

It's impossible for many people to just get a US visa "if she wants to" without financial assets. No way it can happen basically.

Whee do you live now? If I get married I need to be in the US for work for the next couple of years at least.

It allows your partner to commit to you and make important decisions that impact their life. For example, if I meet a girl from South America her family knows we're serious and that she can commit to moving to the US and getting a visa.

I had this happen to me. Condom came completely off and I was stoned so I didn't really notice. Told the girl I was dating (first date) and she said "I think I'm ready to be a mom" ... so for like a month I was freaking out of my mind nervous that I was going to be a father to a baby with a crazy chick I met at a bar. She didn't want to take any type of emergency contraception because it 'impacts her mental health' which I get but that's a risk she takes when having sex. I shouldn't have to be o…

I love my mom but when she divorced my father she took all his tools, stole them by moving them to her fathers house. Just left them there. It was probably $40k worth of tools adjusting for inflation. Then, she refused to give access to the house so he could take back HIS MOTHERS furniture. These were priceless family heirlooms. They weren't hers. They were HIS MOTHERS. She made up tons of excuses about how it was for child support or whatever but NEVER giving them back? When my mom passed I ref…

The first time I had sex I was raped. This girl was a psycho and had a crush on me that lasted for months. I made it clear I wasn't interested. We had a large mutual friend group and one day we all went camping. It was like 20+ people during college so I really didn't even know she was going. That first night I drank too much (I was 19). Woke up naked in the back of her car. She was naked next to me. People found out about it and she told everyone that I raped her. The school got involved and th…

I'm in Thailand right now. It's definitely broken here. FAR worse than the US actually. >90% of the girls on the dating sites are actually ladyboys or prostitutes - one or the other. No joke. In Vietnam it's not too bad but the women there are super conservative so you have to make it CLEAR that you're in Vietnam for the long term. Plus they're shy to meet because they're intimidated by foreigners. In Medellin it was actually pretty solid but I speak Spanish so that helps significantly.

I've been falsely accused of rape twice. They're NOT part of any statistics. Nor was my rape. Literally the FIRST time I had sex I was raped. I have no memory of what happened. This crazy girl I had a crush on, and was friends with my friends, found me unconscious due to drinking and I ended up waking up naked. Our friends found out and to save face she told everyone, including the school, that I raped her. She eventually told me everyone it wasn't true and the school just told me to drop it. Th…

I'd give it a 3/10... if it wasn't controversial it would have bombed at the box office. It's a shit movie. The Barbie cartoon is actually really good. Very funny and satirical.

My core issue with most everything here is how everything is openly hypocritical. When you point it out - they almost never respond and just quit the conversation. Completely agree. My step-sister is really not happy that I date younger women and actively calls me out on it. Basically, simply because I'm older, it's wrong to date a younger girl. But if I was gay she would completely 100% support me.

I think it’s interesting that someone who didn’t even finish the movie would complain about not getting it lol. I think it's group think so if you move your girl to the US she will just learn it from her friends. You should probably understand that what you’re going to Thailand for is sex, not a relationship. If you find a relationship, that’s awesome. But sex is what Thailand is all about. I had a great relationship when I was in Thailand last time. We met at the mall and she was from an upper class family. Yeah... but I've heard it's not that basically across the board that Thailand is better. The food in PH sucks. Hospitals suck. Stuff like that. I'm not an expert by any means and might be totally wrong. It's going to be a 'short' flight form Thailand though and I might add it to one of the places to check out.

I've been to Thailand before and I'm aware the dating culture is distorted because of money. I've got it though.. there are risks everywhere. You just have to be careful and keep your head on straight.

Many of the commenters here are right. It's very hard to find a good woman in Thailand or Vietnam as so many women who will date western men have only financial motives. So the way I'm going to do it isn't to try to force meeting a girl in Thailand or Vietnam. I'm just going to focus on meeting good and high quality women but ALSO enjoy a new adventure. It's going to have it's ups and downs for sure.

After being in some long term relationships that I THOUGHT were going to last forever - I think it's true. I'm older than you fuckers and was basically married twice. Any pic rating app I ever used I was scoring 4 and 5 at best and dating models and strippers. If you look at highly rated pics long enough you'll realize they tell a story or evoke an emotion ( puppies) You can basically double whatever your rating is on straight up pics, promise you. Yes. I think this is actually a really good point and I sort have already realized that but I need a way to "tell a story" which is somewhat hard right now due to winter/covid. I asked for her number and she told me she had a boyfriend and I told her okay no problem and her to enjoy her workout. I'm trying to approach more and my plan is to turn this into a joke so it's not awkward. Like "oh, , want a second boyfriend? " or "that's ok, he can come out for drinks and pay for everything" ... or something like that. Half the time she might not have a bf just shy/timid. This way you're still building raport and she gets a laugh.

How is this even legal? They're entire premise of the VC firm is that they discriminate? I mean imagine the outrage of there was a men's only VC firm!
/r/MensRights12/10/19 11:25 PM

This really makes me upset... It's discrimination. They're giving someone a financial benefit simply because of their gender. I have NO problem with teaching entrepreneurial skills to anyone who wants to learn but I agree with MLK - people should be judged by the content of their character! It shouldn't matter the age, race, or gender of someone here and I imagine this is probably illegal. A male should apply and sue when he's rejected.

When I was like 21 my coworker was 55 and said he was going to move to Thailand and get a Thai girlfriend that doesn't speak English. I was completely thrown back by this. The best thing about a plate or a girl you don't give a shit about either way is you can fuck around and see what you can get away with. I was friends with a girl a few years back that was an ULTRA insane vegan. She was the type that literally thought the lives of chickens and humans were of equivalent worth. We have a family friend that is right now in a similar situation. She's maybe a 6/10. Not very bright. For example, a couple weeks ago she almost ran a red light and instead of just running it she SLAMMED on her breaks in the middle of the intersection, came to a complete stop, and just stayed there until the light was green. The wolf whistling is probably really fucking annoying to be fair. I live in San Francisco and have NO problem with gay men but some just won't take the fucking hint. I used to work out of a coffee shop and a guy kept coming over to me constantly trying to talk me up and hit on me. I literally told him "I have work to do and I'm not gay" ... and he just would ignore me. I just had to abandon working there. It has been linked with advocating for rape under the guise that "all women have rape fantasies." Literally EVERY woman I've slept with more than once has confessed to having a rape fantasy. Women like rough sex better than I do... What's fucked up about this is that feminists think they speak for all women when MEN have a far better sampling of how women interact with men than they do.

She's going to grow more and more bitter about the whole thing without ever admitting to the truth that she fucked up. I'm forty and two of the BIG things I've learned in my old age are the guilt and embarrassment aren't actually REAL. They're just in your head. NO ONE can make you feel guilty or embarrassed without YOUR cooperation. Just don't allow yourself to experience these feelings - problem solved. I agree with @yessum447. Basically, you want to be the leader here. Don't ask her.. tell her. She will speak up if she wants to say no. Girls HATE being put on the spot like this. Remember , they are not leaders - they are followers. If you force them to lead it will make them insanely uncomfortable. They want a man to lead them.

I thought women are just as capable as men?

False. This doesn't apply to humans. Some species will do this but not humans. One way to tell is if the male of the species has VERY large testicles compared to other species. Bulls, blue whales, etc. They all take this strategy and mate in groups. The female is usually impregnated by the one male who is more virile. Not all species use the same sexual reproduction strategy.

I full on encourage women to be whores. They have just as much right to have sex and enjoy their lives as much as we do. This is one of the reasons we get LMR... They don't want to be perceived as whores. One of my best dates ever drove an hour to meet me, and immediately stuck her tongue down my throat when we met. We fucked the entire weekend, then she went back home. We ended up dating for about 6 months and she's one of the most awesome people I know.

No fucking political discussion on this subreddit. This is about sexual strategy. I don't give a shit about your Alt-right , Alt-left or your political orientation whatsoever.

It's definitely a catch 22... One of the things about women is that they are SUCKERS for sentimentality. You want to tell her you love her and think she's beautiful but ONLY after you already have her and ONLY on special occasions where it warrants it. Basically you want to make her CHASE complements and only give them to her when she really deserves it. For example, NEVER buy a girl flowers or ANYTHING really early in a relationship. Wait until she's earned them.

Right. That's a job not a career. Perhaps a resolution to this would be a prenup asking the wife that anything she gives up is HER decision. The problem with that is she might never agree to have children with you... I think that if people go into a marriage it should be viewed as a partnership. More like a business arrangement. Within a business there are requirements to take care of your employees... Something similar could be argues for your spouse. Male or female. That if the marriage ends t…

You're partially correct. There are a lot of sacrifices that men make to support women. However, if a woman DID give up college and her career it's basically impossible to get that back. Career growth is important.

It's far cheaper to hire a prostitute if you compute this per intercourse. It's also REALLY fucking insulting to women. I DEFINITELY see the argument that the wife made some sacrifices for the marriage. Maybe she quit school. Quit her job to take care of the kids, and her career couldn't advance. Fine. Give her some basic support to get back on her feet. But there's NO WAY she would have been successful as a boxer. It just doesn't make ANY sense. And this isn't just against women either. If the …

These questions are there to prevent/detect domestic abuse. For example, if the woman said she's forced on birth control, her partner has a weapon, she's routinely raped, etc, then the police have to get involved. It's an opportunity for outreach if the woman is kept in a situation where she can't reach out for help.

Women are a depreciating asset. Their peak is 18 and it's downhill from there. Men are an appreciating asset. Women really go out of their way to convince themselves this isn't reality and this is what happens. This woman is WAY past her prime and thinks she can still get quality men. Basically, she's rapidly depreciating now and still expects that she can get guys like she was when she's 25. I feel no sympathy for her.

The problem here is she's programmed by society to view herself as a whore now. Good girls don't do things like this. She's a good girl. So you must be at fault. Not saying I agree with her - that's just how her brain is working. It's like how people react about religion. If you aren't part of their religion you must be evil. She's thinking irrationally. My advice... don't talk to her for a while. Wait until she stops insulting you and is starting to beg for you back. Then tell her if she wants …

It shouldn't... men can't be female also. I try but I will NEVER be able to raise a little girl the way a woman can. It's just not the same It's like eating tofu when you really want chicken.

I was raised by my Mom because my add is an asshole and can't stand up.. He's also just pathetic so I wouldn't want him to raise me anyway. I have really NO complaints about my Mom. She did her best and she ALWAYS stood by me. The only problem is that she's female and doesn't know how to be male. A sheep can't teach someone how to wolf. A trout can't teach you how to catch fish. She gave me ALL sorts of insane suggestions for women. I honestly thought that the first girl I was with needed to be …

If women can breast feed in public men should be able to man spread. We have an ACTUAL genetic need for this. It's VERY bigoted and discriminatory and we should call them on it. They're basically saying that we should be in pain so they can have a few centimeters of leg room. When I man spread I'm not even in anyone's way... This is a complete non-issue except if you hate men.

This works . "Also, Hey X, nice to meet you and not trying to be rude but we're having a private evening." If they don't get the point just lead your girl away. Hold your frame and don't beta the fuck up. The girl will follow. If not ditch her and get another one.

I think JBY persists because it's some colloquial grandma bullshit which seems simple and easy and doesn't require you to do anything. It also fits into your ego. You're already perfect and it's everyone else that is fucked up. Screw that bullshit. If you want money and that HB10 you have to work your ass off. You have to be intelligent and fit and have something to OFFER! If you have nothing to offer the other party they're just going to move on. We would... so should they!

Marijuana (if you need to be buzzed) and club soda. You will eventually realize you can socialize without being buzzed. IF anyone asks what you're drinking tell them vodka and tonic. They can't tell the difference.

As I've gotten better at game (and better looking, more fit etc) and basically slaying the girls. It's REALLY opened my eyes to the uneven distribution of resources. It's VERY powerlaw.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_law 20% of the guys get 80% of the girls.

Hold your ground but only if you can defend your ground. Else retreat. I'm paraphrasing Sun Tzu.... If you can defend your position without making enemies do it. People will respect you for it.

Yes. Honestly I think the honeymoon phase ends because couples start to fight and take each other for granted. We don't do this.. My parents fought CONSTANTLY so we I've been teaching her how to resolve things without bringing drama into the relationship. Honestly, it's a great skill that I think every couple should have.

Exactly. Further, even if this WAS true, can a man do this? If not, why not? How can a man determine if he can have sex with a woman if he can't predict the future.

I love the double standard. If a woman is intoxicated and has sex she was raped. If a man is intoxicated and has sex he's a rapist.
