My friend spends half his life on these apps. He’s not really present when around us. Hearing him talk so much about the girls he meets on tinder but never meets in real life is making me think he’s wasting his time. He’s even found girls sitting meters from him on tinder and starts chatting on tinder. I just find it so sad. Real world is 1000x better

As we get older we become more serious. but i also feel the same. there's a spark that's gone.

Body language and tone of voice a.k.a your energy mean far more to what you're saying when comparing "you look good" with "i think you look good". The person is owning the objective statement by saying it. if i say you look good, you don't think that i'm making a statistical assessment. you know that thoughts and feelings are subjective by their very nature and therefore when someone makes a statement about another person, they're saying what they think/feel and also want others to know.

it depends what you want. if you want someone to invest in, no chance. if you want some fun for the night, you gotta accept that she's likely to be enjoying the attention of other men.

I'm making a more general point. there's lots of conflicting information out there about what men are meant to do.

And then we're told we're perves for being so interested in girls immediately before getting to know them.

it's so true. i used to not be able to ask a stranger for the time. i pushed myself to ask 10 people every day. slowly i became less sensitive. i learnt slowly through experience that not everyone is going to react like i'm some weirdo. bit by bit. eventually i lead public speaking groups which also grew my confidence. having a few successful gym sessions taught me that i can actually do it if i put my mind to it. i still haven't done a cold approach but i have taken bigger and bigger steps. it'…

Besides r/uplifting and r/funny this sub has the most positive slant of any sub i know (and those are designed to be positive). And the general vibe here is about authenticity in the approach.

friend zone. its strange coz i know im a catch but i never cross that lime. i have more female friends than guy friends. its not like im the nice guy coz im teasing, playing, listening, leading..... i just don't escalate. i know all i need are 20 cold approaches a day and i'll be fine. i just have never really crossed that risk barrier. every girl ive had its been super clear she wanted me. no risk. thats the issue

Its sad to say but us guys are very visual. Looks do matter. There are plenty of girls who arent that attractive but theyre fit and guys are all over them. You’ll get tonnes more attention if you get yourself in shape. The confidence will skyrocket and that would make you less awkward

tbf, if i ask, she says no, and then i push, i can understand. if i say "let me take you out". fair enough. but i avoid phrases like that for very clear and related reasons. i never give women the pleasure of knowing i like them until we've kissed. therefore i just say "we should go get some coffee". I will never pay on the first date. if she sees that as a deal breaker, i made a lucky escape. if she doesn't, she's more likely to be one of the keepers

the entitlement. it's so pervasive. what's strange is that our recognition of this is sent to the unknown corners of the internet like MGTOW while a man saying "thank you for being in the kitchen, cleaning up, making my dinner and sucking my balls from under the table" he gets called a sexist
/r/MGTOW13/02/18 10:01 PM

yes, it's fundamentally about learning to being ok with not being liked or being disapproved of. so break rapport. tease someone. insult them. disagree with them. you have to do these things in order to learn the repercussions don't exist.
/r/seduction25/11/17 08:31 AM

approach hundreds of girls purely to desensitize. expect no outcomes when you do it. you're far too sensitive to their reactions and care too much about what you say

if the hoop is a woman, in this analogy the hoop moves closer to you when you just throw it. Girls are attracted to authenticity. They are very perceptive and can quite easily pick up on fakery. Plus you're more likely to meet someone who is interested in the real you if you let people see the real you.

Our culture attaches a man’s worth to what he can provide a woman. It all depends on what women want and think. We’re told to work work work and provide. Yet a single man can pote tially live a very easy life if he’s clever about it
/r/seduction07/11/17 08:37 PM

im confused. doesn't this defy the point of mgtow? you're literally paying women to sleep with you. that's the total opposite of mgtow. mgtow is freedom from women, not desperation for them.
