Threads like this are posted all the time and the answers are always the same. There's no value provided in repeating the same things over and over. If all the OP did was scroll down to the fifth post down or whatever he'd find the answer he was looking for there, too.

Ugh, I completely agree with you. It's like the sub has turned into /r/foreveralone. This post is whining which provides no value and it gets 150+ upvotes, but posts which actually bring value and have answers and actionable advice (which by the way, is what we are supposed to be doing with ourselves via inner game) usually get 30 or so upvotes. It's like a bunch of sad sack guys are sitting around reading this post and thinking "OMG Me 2 DAE?" and upvoting it in the worst sort of circlejerk.

Yes, let me pay $200 to ensure that $50 worth of junk I have laying around doesn't get jacked ;)

What bars exist where there is a group of girls that aren't already being hit on? The ones I go to are always 2:1 men to women.

Other girls are jealous that no one is hitting on them? Maybe I'm going to the wrong bars, but there's always a 2:1 male female ratio and all sets are constantly opened, no matter who the girls are.

Exactly. So what's the point of this sub then?

I think that's a very good point. Posters need to do their homework and once they've got those four points down, start asking better questions. What would you say is a good example question that someone could ask if they've got those four points down?

I agree with you, but from what you are saying it basically reinforces my original concern. Look at the two main points 1) People who need to ask can't implement the answers (i.e. describing the solution to them through text doesn't work) 2) People who can implement the answers aren't the ones asking (i.e. even if they don't know the answer, they know enough to be able to muck through it and get the desired result) The combination of those two factors means that there's basically nothing we can …

Hmm, good point on (6), especially if they have to pay for it. I usually enjoy seeing you post because you're typically well researched -- do you have a source for (6) as well?

I'm actually more in /u/lisward 's camp, but it could be because of my specific situation. (1) Girls do not chase me online (2) I am actually out more than I am at home, so less easy for me to "hit" on girls from my computer (3) I engage with many girls at the same time in person anyway (4) I establish interest right away in person (5) There is so much more competition online, you just don't directly see it (but it definitely indirectly affects your chances) (6) So many girls online are only the…

While this is great advice in general, don't think that you will magically get women flocking to you once you achieve it. I've built a pretty attractive life. I make six figures in a job that I love, I drive a nice car, and I have plenty of spare time to do hobbies that I love. And it's not just eating fried fatty food and playing video games, either -- I'm an accomplished dancer, musician, gymnast, cook, world-traveler... you name it, I've done it. I take annual monthlong vacations to a random …

Got it. I don't mind approaching, so let me run a basic scenario by you just for feedback. My friends and I often start the social momentum. We'll be the first 5 or 10 people on the floor -- everyone else is still just sitting at the bar or at tables watching the floor. I'll see out of the corner of my eye some women watching me specifically. I don't mind approaching, but when should I do it? I feel like if I approach right after I finish a dance that I'll come across as a show-off ("Look at me,…

Thanks for the information! So is busting into the middle of a dance circle your modus operandi? Or do you have a different approach? And I have had my attractive female dancing friends with me in the middle of the floor taking up space. I see people watching, but often they're people who aren't dancing

How do you actually use dancing to meet girls? I'm assuming you mean club dancing. I'm an extremely good dancer who has not been able to leverage these skills into any kind of close. These are the problems that I run into. When club dancing, especially if you're in a circle, no one pays attention to you. Everyone only pays attention to themselves, because they're wondering things like "OMG do I look like a retard? Okay, play it cool, wave my arms around less". Girls worry about this too Now, you…

What do you do if you hit on unattractive girls and still get turned down?

I appreciate you going through the time to actually answer this man's questions, even though he's heavily downvoted. I find that a lot of times OPs fade away once people start asking specifics and saying things more than just "Good job man!". As far as specifics go, if you could estimate how many women you had to approach to reach 400, or some sort of percentage of success, what would it be? I.e. "I approached 1000 total, so my success rate is 40%" or "On a monthly basis I approach 20 and succee…

Yep. Step 1: "Be attractive enough that girls message you first online." Step 2: Profit. There is no need for a step 3.

Hold on, your style and your fitness level aren't important? Those are both core tenants of inner game, no?

That's okay. I understand you don't have the answers I seek in terms of women. All I want to know is what you look like and what you were wearing. Will this prove to you that I gave zero fucks? The last place I went dancing was a gay club, and zero gay guys came to hit on me. I'm not gay so I am completely outcome independent. I also had a ton of fun. I do not seek validation from gay guys, I was just merely making an observation.

So I do all those things. Shoulder back, chest up, head up, eye contact, smiles, good posture, and chatting up men and women alike. I'm also not afraid to have fun and really show it. For instance, I'm a dynamite dancer, and (straight) guys often come up to me and say things like "Hey, you're a great dancer! Can you show me some of those moves/where did you learn/etc etc". However, no matter how much fun I'm having, I've never once been approached by anyone who would potentially be interested in…

Good to know. Can you describe what you were wearing that night/what you looked like?

Do you get approached often? What about yourself do you think makes it so that women who know nothing about you but how you look will walk up to you and initiate?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
