That’s what I say. Their argument against men’s opt out of parenthood (financial abortion) always devolve to tough luck, you shouldn’t have had sex if you 100% didn’t want to be a parent. Well ladies, same to you.

My sister did this at age 39. Except it wasn’t a turkey baster, she just got knocked up by some guy she was seeing at the time. He was not father material, as evidenced by him leaving the country when he found out, but she just wanted the seed. Totally selfish on her part, and her kid has all the problems of not having a father around outside of trouble with the law, fortunately.

A society of men without women would go for about 20 to 40 years before lack of reproduction starts causing population problems. A society of women without men would start experiencing problems after 20 to 40 hours.

I used to listen to Car Talk and every other car on there was a Subaru. I didn’t know if it was because Subarus were unreliable or confirmation bias from the demographic. I later rented a Subaru in Hawaii. While it was fun to drive, especially down Haleakala, I had to turn it in for another vehicle because it developed a transmission problem.

Everybody knows that when planning a wedding, having an office job is essential. You’ll have all the resources at hand to contact vendors and communicate with your wedding party all while getting paid for it. As for the actual work that you were supposed to be doing, most managers report that there was little or no loss of productivity from their workers/would-be brides. In face they were eagerly anticipating the honeymoon period when morale and productivity are predicted to improve.

Society has led you to believe that: Having a good paying job is essential Having a wife is essential You need to have number 1 to get number 2. Number 3 also works in reverse, as your wife certainly proved. That’s not something society likes to talk about, hence you’re learning it the hard way. By the way, since we’re examining the rules, number 2 is a myth. While there might be some valid reasons to have a wife, I’m sure there are some circumstances where I need to have holes drilled into my h…

All kidding aside, I could see them doing this with a diversity cast, and that would be the show. No character development, all the heavy lifting was already done in casting. Then pile on the “lessons,” every episode is going to be a very special episode. In terms of character arcs, they would make the actual Bradys look like characters from Breaking Bad.

Long time ago I received a letter from my bank stating the authorities from the next county over were investigating my account for unpaid child support. Apparently my name was the same or similar enough to the sap they were going after. Thing is I didn’t know anyone in that county. Most of the world use RON (research octane number) and those numbers range in the 90s to low 100s for most automotive gasolines. Other nations, primarily the US, Canada, and Brazil use AKI (anti-knock index), which is the average of RON and MON (motor octane number), a different testing merhod. As a result, AKI, also known as (R+M)/2 for its mathematical formula, will be lower than RON by 5 for the most part, though it can range from 4 to 9.

Right, the owner’s manual will specify the type of fuel and minimum octane rating required of the vehicle. High altitude areas will have even lower ratings than 87. For the most part, stick to the minimum required, any extra will just end up costing more money.

Those shows are fake. They find a couple who are well on their way of purchasing a house, then find two other houses that they have to fake interest in. The only thing real sadly is in how the husbands are portrayed.

What you said couldn’t come back to bite you. You pointed out to a colleague that while discipline and termination of this employee is justified, it should be done in a way to prevent the employee from contending that it was unlawful due to protected class. Leykis freely admits that marriage is how he thought things were supposed to be, that’s why he kept banging his head against that particular wall. Generally you're better off with a Roth IRA or 401k because any income they generate are not taxed upon withdrawal, but there's no difference in your taxes in the here and now when you're making the contribution. Contributions to a traditional IRA or 401k will reduce your taxable income so you'll see a lower tax bill today, but the money you pull from it upon retirement will be taxed at the capital gains rate. So percentage wise, your money will be taxed lower going the traditional method. Howev…

My family gets together around Christmas time for 4 or 5 days. We're scattered all over so we find an Airbnb rental somewhere and gather. There's upward of 20 of us usually. The thing is that as a single male, I get the short straw in terms of accommodations. Last year I got stuck with the floor of the family room. I don't mind having a bed or even a couch as the floor is good for my back, but I forgot to pack my sleeping pad and bag. Plus having your sleeping space in a public area ties you to …

My way of cooking chicken wings I discovered by accident. I was doing a cookout and a latecomer brought some wings. There was already enough food for everybody and the fire was dying down, so I put the wings directly over the coals. Well I forgot about them until an hour passed and I thought they would be burnt to a crisp. But it turned out the wings were cooked to perfection. The fat was rendered and the resulting skin took on a papery crispy texture. The color was a deep mahogany and the flavo…

If I’m the boss and facing a shit storm because three employees are complaining that another employee is making $30k more, would I give the three raises and cost my company $90k + payroll tax, or do I just fire the high earner (who instigated this whole thing, by the way) and hire his replacement at the lower salary and save my department $30k? I would say it's a midrange restaurant, but because of the counter ordering and salad bar, it's not considered "fine dining." But in terms of steakhouses, it's a budget option because the fancy ones around here are charging $30-$40 USD for their lowest price steaks, and that is a la carte not including any accompanying sides. Once you add it all up, you'll be approaching the $200 range and often more for 2 people.

No actual physical labor is involved outside of maybe making a list. He took the necessary precautions, though to us, it’s like walking into a tornado, but first taking a few moments to strap on a helmet.

If I had to pick a sex for more genetic variability, it would have to be men for biological reasons. Because women are the ones giving birth, female variability would likely be too unstable for the propagation of a species. Going forward, female having 2 x-chromosomes would reinforce the relative lack of variability. Males having an x-y would result in more diversity, good and bad, and this diversity is caused by (and would result in) selection that is both biological and societal.

At least in your case you can take her shit out after a socially acceptable grace period (15 minutes in my opinion) and get on with your life. A very reasoned ruling by the judge. I agree with him in that the women's team should get equal treatment as that of the men's team in areas such as travel, hotel, and support staffing, and that part of the trial will still proceed. Sadly this is true. There should be an implied social contract that if you are receiving help from society, you don't worsen the circumstances for which you are receiving help in the first place. It's like receiving a liver transplant but you continue to get shitfaced every weekend. If society steps up, you need to do your part as well. And the apologists for those who continually make poor life decisions are taking away their accountability as well as contributing to the worsening of society.

Artie Lange is right about Howard. He was one of the first to do long form interviews in a landscape of three minute segments. Now we routinely get 2 and 3 hour interviews on Joe Rogan and the like with more interesting people from a wider segment of society. And Howard, who once bucked the Hollywood/PR industrial complex now parties with these phonies and has become part of the system.

Objective truth is no longer in vogue and has been supplanted by subjective reality. If you hear anybody say "my reality," you'll know what I'm talking about. Eventually, this type of thinking has seeped into our institutions including the mass media, resulting in the current fractured state of reporting.

I’m going across the country to attend my cousin’s in two weeks. On my dad’s side, the male descendants are the one cousin marrying an older woman who is post-wall if not post-menopause, another cousin who is developmentally disabled, and me. I guess the family name dies with us.

His past girlfriends have used this knowledge to shame him during arguments and to manipulate him emotionally. For him, he rather be plugged back in to the matrix. As long as he can taste the virtual steak dinners, he won’t care about fighting the fight in real life.

Real estate is not a terrific investment, and it’s not even a factor of laziness. Triple net commercial real estate requires absolutely no effort with a stable tenant, but you’re still better off investing in stocks.
