Glad she found something she can’t choke on!

My difficulty with sex is that it turns out I’m bisexual: If I want sex I have to buy it. I put my energy into more important things. My sex drive disgusts me at this point. Between my job, kids, and elderly parents … I have no time or energy to start anything meaningful.

This is a tough one, because how is she treating the guy now, and does all that lovey dovey stuff get turned off as soon as the honeymoon is over?

By the time I divorced my ex, I had reached the point that her infidelity and such said a lot more about her character than anything about how I performed sexually. I had gotten involved with an absolute smoke show during the process, but she had her own problems. I ended up punting her out too. My last GF in 2019 was odd. I now understand the dynamic was anxious attachment on her part with fearful avoidant attachment on my part. These days, I have three things to pour into: my career, my childr…

Nobody is owed “a chance”. But turning down someone doesn’t need to be an excuse to be a rude prick about it. The right thing to do is set your boundaries, and respect the boundaries of others. And be kind. Kindness is free.

Child support. I love my kids, but hate paying her.

When my ex and I split, my youngest was 2. He has no memory of the before times, which my oldest refers to as the golden age. You’re going to need counseling. In some states, the court is going to require it before they’ll consider letting you divorce. It may fix some things. It may not. And if it does not, you can present evidence that you tried.

My ex was still pretty hot when we got divorced, but the straw that broke my back was when she threatened a dead bedroom for me and that she’d do whoever and whatever she wanted. 50/50 custody, lost half my shit, had to live in a dumpy apartment, etc. So yeah, she was still physically attractive, but every other attribute was just shit. The feeling was mutual, so it was an easy court case to settle out. We were both done. In a few years when the CS ends and my youngest is launched, then I won’t …

I was on the filing side of divorce and have been divorced almost 11 years. No amount of sex from my ex would be worth the outlay of funds. What needs to fix it is the end of no fault divorce, but that won’t happen until society collapses.

Bitches be crafty. My ex slipped up in a couple major ways which is how I caught her. Cheaters often have some sort of support network now, which helps them hide much more easily. All it takes is a missed email, open browser tab, a slip up from a coworker and you’ll have her dead to rights … if her crew aren’t already covering for her. As far as the fight goes, hold the line at 50/50. The justice system isn’t an egalitarian entity, so go in cold and get your half of the assets, and split custody…

If she’s lost 20 pounds now, once she moves out, you’ll have lost another 100! All joking aside, it’s how things go one the post-divorce mind normalizes. I managed to get down to my high school weight by the time my divorce was final. I took up running to deal with the anxiety of it all. It was good for a few years until I busted my ankle. By then, all the emotional stuff was settled.

I remember how this hit me when I got divorced. From my nice house to probably the worst hovel in town. Those were dark times. On finances and the court, stick to the absolute letter of your agreement. The Department of Revenue is right behind the IRS when it comes to fucking you. Your purpose is your children, and they don’t really care who does the trips so long as you love on them when you have them. Eventually, they figure it out. You can be honest about how you feel about the divorce to a p…

/r/Divorce_Men27/03/25 12:35 PM

What a crock of shit. It’s only “homoerotic” if you equate any kind of love with sex. A prime pitfall of the English language is that we use only one word to describe a range of emotions.

Just under 6 months from filing to closure. The shit sandwich to get there was a saga, however.

So much depends on the state you are in. I had to live in a hovel with my kids for 5 years before I could buy a house of my own. It was a very humbling experience. Going from a nice house to a place I’d kill a few mice per night was a depressing adjustment. The kids were resilient, fortunately. They need more of your time than what you can spend on them. I now have about 5 years left on the clock unless my youngest wants to go to college. It will move on by, and you’ll be stronger than you thoug…

A lot of that depends on the state you’re in. I’m surprised there isn’t an end like when you go to collect social security at retirement. I got divorced in the DPRMA (Democratic People’s Republic of Massachusetts) 11 years ago. Since we were only married for 11 years at that point, I was liable for up to 7.5 years of alimony. However, child support was higher so that was the option she went with. Just over 5 years to go unless my youngest goes to college.

I’ve been divorced for 10 years now. I filed and have not regretted it. She has been off and on with her AP through all this time such that their time together exceeds the length of time that we were together. I don’t think she has any regrets beyond getting caught and won’t likely feel any additional pangs of regret until child support shuts off once my youngest child launches in 6-10 years, dependent upon college. Most parts of my life have become pretty good in this time. I have made huge gai…

I hope you have seriously considered what lies ahead of you before you pull the trigger. I was 39, and it was a saga that led to me declaring a divorce. But she had her AP as a distraction through and long after so things were not hotly contested. I told her right to her face that the arrangement we had was not working for me and I was done. 6 months and half my shit later, we were divorced. Lots of child support which will be around $250,000 post-tax by the time my youngest leaves the nest. Liv…

I’m 50 and I gave up 5 years ago. I got ghosted for the last time and decided that I was done from that point. I had two kids with 50/50 custody and an intense job with a lengthy commute, leaving precious few hours in any given week to get anything done, much less any me time after errands and house chores. It has allowed me to get a lot of things in order, which makes for a peaceful life. Crushes come and go, and I enjoy the feelings as they pass through. Like many older adults, I put in a lot …

“Nothing happened” … bruh. My advice: Say nothing until your divorce is final. There is no mention of children so that makes things far less complicated. When it’s all said and done, walk off into the fucking sunset like a boss. You can cut off her and all her family and get on with your life.

The last date I went on was at the turn of the decade, right at the dawn of COVID. People are exceptionally maladjusted now compared to even then. I’m not sure what can change, or if society is hopelessly broken at this point.

You’d have better luck playing the lottery than getting an ultimatum to stick. Prepare to be broke though. There’s a reason the phrase “cheaper to keep her” exists.

Unless you’re going to have children of your own, absolutely not. The marriage contract is one of the few where the parties involved are both subservient to the state. With no-fault divorce being the norm, the party who ultimately cares the most is the one who loses. Your spouse can be a serial cheater and still walk away with half your shit and child support and leave you picking up the pieces of your life for years after.

Happiness is your job. Happily ever after is the biggest lie ever sold to children in the western world. Marriage is a fucking ton of work. A lot of it is drudgery and mediocre days. Happiness comes in small doses. A smooth cigarette, a 10-second orgasm, and a chocolate chip cookie. (Props to anyone who gets the reference.) Just GTFO while he still has a shot at salvaging his dignity.

I feel very much the same! While I am not an avid church goer, my faith and character were refined in the fires of struggle. I’ve still got a long ways to go, but the more I have placed in His hands the more I have been blessed. Were I married, I would not have been able to take my current job which has allowed me to follow the purpose I believe I was put on this earth to fulfill. There is still much work ahead for me, but my mind and soul are at ease in ways I would not have considered possible…

You were a stepping stone on the hypergamy highway. It hurts, and were I a betting man, I bet your replacement was already lined up when she let the bombs drop. NGL, this is going to take a long time to heal from. Being dropped like it’s no effort on her part can really fuck up your own sense of value as a partner. It’s okay to grieve the loss, and it’s okay to get therapy so someone outside yourself can help sort things out. There are brighter days ahead. If you haven’t filed yet, it is time to…

She stated “dating” well into the marriage. It took me far too long to find my balls and construct a backbone, but it did happen. AFAIK, they are still seeing each other. 🤷‍♂️ This is a good thing though because it keeps her distracted and largely off my case. It can stay that way until I am unbound from the state Department of Revenue. I love my children and support them, but I really do not enjoy the paycheck withdrawals.

It’s a case of Schrödinger’s feminist now: a woman is simultaneously a victim and empowered until something happens and she chooses which state benefits her most.

Facts. I’m fortunate that she keeps herself distracted by her former AP now BF. I suspect the lack of respect follows the lack of accountability.

I do not miss being lied to about a “late night at yoga.” I do not miss being minimized because I am not as attached to a clean sink. I do not miss having only shitty TV speakers because surround is a “waste of money”. I do not miss being called lazy because my job requires a ton of mental energy during the day that leaves me exhausted. There are sooo many more.

I think there is an inability to see past a certain point in time for the long term, particularly where loyalty is conditional. I hope she has planned well. I have 6-10 years left of child support depending on what my youngest does after high school. Then the faucet will be shut off, finally. The support cost alone will be between $250-300k when it’s all said and done. Funny though … she could have stayed loyal and not only would the house have been paid off, but she could have actually retired …

There are advantages as there as it’s cheaper for two to live under the same roof. But that’s about the end of it. If it works out, that is fantastic. However, it is spinning the roulette wheel: with each successive spin, there are even greater odds that you lose.

The last GF I had sounds similar. I just could not actually believe she wanted to be with me at all, so I spared us the grief before things got too deep. I have only recently come to realize that between my ex wife, rebound, and negative experience in the dating market that those aggregate experiences have trained me to be avoidant.

Once you realize that two people getting married is not a contract of equals, but rather two parties inferior to the state … that should be sufficient.

Let her go and once she is gone, weld the door shut. It sounds like you avoided having kids with this woman, so you are incredibly fortunate to find out now than when you are two kids deep and 5 years into a mortgage. Play it cool. She has set the tone, and at this point things are just business. I can’t downplay how much it sucks.

One thing you need to do is get yourself into therapy for yourself and couple’s therapy for the two of you. For yourself: You need a place to vent and stew and strategize and cry if you need to. Not to say your anger isn’t justified, but you need to let that pressure valve out with someone who isn’t your partner. Being able to let that out and process it will allow you to be cool and collected. For the two of you: You need to give this an honest shot. If she doesn’t want to go, that will be on h…

It’s a tough question for me since I love my children. As far as remarrying goes, I will never let the state be a part of my relationships ever again. Knowing what I know, if I found myself back in my 20s in the 90s, I would have chosen someone else since I know who the loyal ones are now. The great many things I would do differently would create a different reality, and I really like being a father.

Nope. I’m turning 50 and have been divorced for 10 years. I have dated a little bit during this period, but find I don’t get past the 90 day mark. Since I still have my kids to care for, the free time I would need to spend on building a new connection is far too much. That, and I like my peace. It was around 45 that I concluded it wasn’t worth the pursuit for me. I won’t involve the state in another relationship of mine and I don’t want any more kids. Nope. As soon as she threatened a dead bedroom, it was all over. I moved to the couch for a couple months, then the basement once the weather got warmer. It hasn’t come up. It’s been over 10 years, and she’s still in the situationship with her original AP (from at least 2006) as best as I know. 6ish more years until my little guy turns 18. Personality may be important, but it is not the only factor. That’s the piece that seems to be often forgotten. The biggest lie I fully believed coming of age in the 90s was all I needed to be was a “nice guy”. The elements that make up a visceral attraction are not usually tied to logic and widely vary. Yes, there are some generally accepted aesthetics that contribute greatly to if one is perceived as attractive to another. Friend group dynamics can strain things as well depending on the weight…

It was a shitshow when I got divorced 10 years ago, but things are a whole different game now. The apps are a disaster except for the top 5–10 percent. That’s on what women perceive as top, as the notorious OKC study found that women do not grade on a bell curve as men do. That is also a looks-based market, which is shallow by nature. I have dated very sparingly post-divorce. My job and my kids take up the lion’s share of my time, so what is leftover is premium time. I got to resenting my last e…

Less than a bunch of the crew here. About $200k at the split. She kept the house, and I kept the stock which got me through about 5 months of unemployment a couple years later. Even at 50/50, I have still paid around $150k after tax over the last 10 years. I got a big rise a year or so ago and have kept the bills down and mostly paid off a new car (old one totaled due to a wildlife incident). I’ve got 7 more years to go before I am eligible for parole from family court.

What few people say about the grief process is that the stages are neither linear nor final except when you get to the very end. I’ve healed to the point where I am functional quite well, but I had kids with my ex. The closest I expect to get to healed will be when my youngest is emancipated and the final child support payment has gone out.

Dead bedroom is not a one-way street. Either partner can check out for a multitude of reasons. In any case, the power sits in the hands of the one who cares the least. Any relationship is doomed once it is one-sided. The woman may think she has her meal ticket. The guy may think she’s too fat after kids. Whatever the reason, this isn’t limited to a just men getting the short end of the deal. Time for some generalities. My suspicion we hear about this more from men is that a notably higher percen…

The best friendships I have with women are when sex and relationships are off the table. Essentially, it’s mutual unattraction (e.g. age differential, lesbians, etc.) that kills any sexual tension. Or at least that is what I have observed in my own slice of the world.

It’s somewhat humorous. I found this piece of brilliance a while back: Yes, I know. This belief is all the rage right now. Poor women trying to get their men to open up about their emotions, but they just won't. Too stubborn. Too emotionally underdeveloped. Must be all the male-power fantasy media they consume. Here's an unfortunate reality: Women, in general, have very little patience for men's emotions that don't suit their needs. Our emotions aren't really concerned over, except insofar as th…

When I filed for divorce, things were broken beyond repair. Both of us recognized that fact and minus a few skirmishes with DOR and family court, it has been pretty low key. There were years of shit on the pile. Terrible wife at the end, but a reasonable coparent and relatively non-confrontational divorce. It’ll be nice when the CS is all over and done with.

The collapse is a slow-motion event in full swing. It takes a while with a large and complex society. Calhoun’s experiments always ended in total failure. However, given the wide dispersal of humanity, I don’t think we will disappear completely.

Dodged alimony, but just over 7 years left of the child support clock. I love my kids, but don’t love paying her for 50/50. There will be an endzone dance and a tailgate BBQ once it is officially over.

When you put money over your sanity, you’ll always be crazy. There are two options for you: 1: Cheaper to keep her. Just do your thing, whatever it may be with the time you have left. 2: Get out of dodge and take the hit. I’m surprised your therapist hasn’t kicked you off the fence yet.

Society has grown cold to the point that someone being polite is easily misunderstood. Of course, that’s just my take on it. It doesn’t help that a couple years in lockdown have really damaged people’s ability to communicate in person. The room is hard to read because nobody really knows how to act.

Beyond getting DOR involved during a period of unemployment, nothing. Terrible wife, but a rather reasonable coparent. More than half my time has been served until CS ends depending on what the youngest does after HS. College can extend it in my state.

The worst part of this is that when you do split, it’s going to be a massive drop in lifestyle for everyone involved. That’s why the phrase “cheaper to keep her” exists. As to why … she’s comfortable and has been for too long. She wants a house, but hasn’t done jack shit. You need to take away the credit card. She can’t manage a house, get a job, or effectively contribute … and you think she is going to come up with a viable business idea? What you have is a household with three children, one of…

By the time divorce came up, the relationship was beyond any hope of repair. I filed once I was sure there was nothing to salvage. From announcement to divorce was around 9 months. I lucked out in that there were only a handful of skirmishes along the way. The result is that we are effective coparents. The 50/50 split has worked well for us and our kids. As others have pointed out, you have to handle this as a stoic. Any emotional outburst can be used against you to your detriment. You and the S…

My ex was hot AF. However, no amount of good looks can polish over the abuse once you reach your limit. She may do better for a period, but the wall comes for us all. As your own relationship status going forward, you need to put this at the bottom of your list. You should focus on your kids, your purpose, and killing it career-wise. After 12 years you need to rediscover yourself and adjust to what clown world has produced. I “retired” from dating over 3 years ago. I found the return on my time …

If a couple can’t agree on the value of the property, the court will probably order a third party appraisal of value, which will be factored in the asset split. There is no reason to force the sale of one or the other unless an asset split can’t be paid out without the sale. No mention of children, which would really throw a wrench in the works.

The physical act is the final rubicon. Once passed, there is no undoing it. There are scores of actions and decisions that lead to it, so there is plenty of opportunity to back out. I’d say they are all preventable if you guard your relationship.

I disagree with the notion that this is gaslighting. I do think it is an overall dismissive trope which fails to give any sort of actionable advice. Each man is different, and the truth is often hard to hear, as there are very few spaces now that are truly for men. It depends on the man’s purpose, which each of us needs to find. Work should serve the purpose.

I’ll come out and say it. You are the majority shareholder of this disaster. The primary fault lies with you and now you get to atone for it. I was on the other side of this with my ex (friends helping me move out, etc.), though her only regret was the mistake of being caught. You have a lot of work ahead of you. I can only hope your experience in family court is fair and just and you can be civil with your ex and maintain a 50/50 split without ending up destitute.

Probably about half the time you were together: I was married for 11, together for 13. Took a number of years. I still have 50/50 custody and a high-engagement career which is where my peace is. Before I retired, it was quite difficult. As much has shifted to an online presence, the way people vet each other has also changed. Red flags have been replaced with tripwires. As I close in on 50, I have to ask what possible benefit outweighs the risk. My family, faith, and career fill my life with wonder and purpose. My home is quite peaceful.

The social circle validation is massive. Once I got divorced, all the invites to virtually all the couples things disappeared. It was a massive hit to the friendships, though I somewhat expected it. Otherwise, it’s no fun being the odd wheel. I consider myself one of those men who has checked out, or retired as I prefer. Why talk about it? Nobody cares. I’ve got a pretty nice life, even after all the losses, so it’s still a win to me.

Interesting question, but something of a false dilemma. I’d choose my children, even though they are the product of a relationship which is your principal claim as a requirement for greater happiness. I know them, love them, and fight for them. The other things can be rebuilt. It does not change my view that a relationship is required for happiness. Happiness comes and goes. To have contentment and peace is an underrated treasure. Perhaps a better question is this: Would I take the risk again, k…

Making the assumption that greater happiness can only be found in the context of an intimate relationship is where I take issue. Happiness comes and goes, like most other emotions. Time is your friend in this, and it’s going to take time. A relationship won’t work with effort on one side, no matter how much you want it to. But once she’s gone, weld that door shut. Since you have no children, you have no duty to her beyond what the court requires.

The tools available for communication today make it all too easy for cheating to occur. Cheating isn’t a mistake. 50/50 is not “too hard” on the kids. My boys were 7 and 2 when I split. Fight for the time. You need to find something within the same school system if at all possible. Depending on the state, the kids are old enough to decide. At least in the DPRMA, 12 is about the age for consideration. That said, you should encourage a 50/50 split, and be willing to go to war over that if the children don’t have a preference. The parent that makes their child choose will ultimately lose in the end. I have never seen or heard otherwise.

I have a few female acquaintances that I’ll find myself in lengthy conversations with. None of them are candidates for dating as there is mutual unattraction or they’re lesbians. It’s kinda neat since there is no sexual tension or any of the complications that go with it.

Young kids … tough row to hoe. The forensic report could probably weigh in as leverage for you to get the most out of your separation agreement. However, 50/50 should be contingent on the STBX keeping her end of the deal, so whatever that means you have to keep her to the letter of it. 50/50 is the second best outcome for children (next only to a stable intact home) unless the neglect is pervasive. It gives you a chance to decompress and do errands and other adulting crap when she has the kids, …

A whole lot has changed in the last decade. I don’t even recognize this shitshow that is called “dating”. My theory is that the whole online social media experience has artificially elevated people’s standards to astronomical levels. Consciously, we know that we are looking at the highlight reel, but our monkey brains don’t know that. Your saving grace is that you are young and you don’t have kids to tend to. You have lots of time for reflection, improvement, etc. I got divorced when I was 40. T…

How should he feel? Deceived. An intimate partner has the right to choose boundaries they are comfortable with. The issue is the lie. The question then becomes “What else have they been less than honest about?” How it gets discussed depends on a lot of factors. As far as where to go? Trust may be broken. If there are no strong ties that bind, then it’s best to leave. IMO, lots of people are better off single.

You are still fresh. 3 weeks into a very long haul, my friend. If she wants this, you need to shift your mental state to the role of a coparent. She is the mother of your child. That is all you must allow her. Any more than that is purely manipulative.

I got into a drunk romp at a party when I was 21. The regret from that was incredible, so I confessed after 4 days of a worsening mental state. I never did it again. I got cheated on multiple times in my marriage. Thought about blowing my head off the first time I found out. It was with a coworker and right after my first child was born. That mess ended in 2014.

One piece I’d like to highlight on the technological advances: advanced medicine. The medicine is something we take for granted now and has reduced the fear of STIs considerably as they can be managed (viral) or cured (bacterial). The rules of the old religion were also about how to keep your population alive and healthy. Virgins getting married weren’t going to get any unpleasant surprises.

I had my two, considered a third after the divorce. However, the woman I was seeing flaked out majorly in a few short months. That was 2014. I dodged a bullet. I got the snip in 2017 just before I turned 43. I decided that I want the option to retire someday. When the youngest leaves the nest and my CS obligations are complete, I will need all the time I have remaining to try and catch up with what I was unable to save. The OKC study was interesting: Your Looks and Your Inbox That study found men graded women on a bell curve, which is quite rare for raw data. Women were much harsher grading men. Lots to unpack here, but I’ll see what I can answer. I feel blessed in that the women in my family come from largely wholesome stock. This is interesting, and I think it heavily depends on the hoops presented. Sometimes this behavior can be used to amplify desire and get the anticipation juices flowing. The mental foreplay can be just as important as physical foreplay. Where there is a problem is when this dance is done enough times without the ending that is not necessarily promised directly, but is often insinuated. I found this path as the result of a divorce. It was neither the best nor worst case divorce, but it was not as bad as many. Still, the combination of family court followed by a wreck of a rebound gave me quite an immunity to close relationships with women. Mediation works best when you both know it’s not working and you’re both okay with it. It can be cheaper. However, if there are children or there is conflict, then you need an attorney. The big mistake in the assumption is that financials are the only benefit. In the traditional dimorphic view of needs, women would get the security and provision from one man and the man would get sexual access and reproduction from one woman. That was the theory, anyway. I have no idea, actually. My ex has been involved with a guy 16 years older than her for at least 15 years now. My guess is it’s because they never spend enough time around each other to allow familiarity to breed contempt.

I came across the philosophy when I was going through my divorce in 2014. As one of the other posters has said, it’s one of those things that is less of an issue as we get older. Big brain is in charge pretty much all the time. Otherwise, I can get what I need from a fleshlight when the moment strikes. Crushes come and go though. I don’t try to deny them or grow them. Usually the truth and time kills them outright.

I can only speak for myself, but the only female friends that I have of any substance are possible because of mutual unattraction. With zero sexual tension or interest, it can work. For me, this is generally older women, much younger women (where I am old enough to be her father), and lesbians. I have a fair number of acquaintances, but I keep that light because the tension is just an imbalance, or trouble waiting to happen.

In traditional society, both men and women were held to account for their roles and responsibilities to the social order. These days, the social paradigm has become far less cohesive and atomized. Women are more or less free to do whatever without fear of criticism or consequence, which has left men holding the bag. We see how we are treated and are unloved except for what we can provide, often coming to despair or rage at the realization of these truths. That was before the extension of the CRT…

The reason marriage is more or less “forbidden” is because marriage is a contract between two parties and the state. What is almost never mentioned is that the people are inferior parties to the state, who can impose its will on the parties with the sanctioned use of force. This is a sort of lock in which is ineffective given how society more or less treats everything, including other people, as disposable. Go 50/50 on custody. If you are in the same town, it’s a bonus because their school system will always be stable. DO NOT LET THAT GO. Kids don’t really give two shits about their childhood home, so long as the ones they have are stable and loving. You are better off broke and living in a hovel with your children half the time than allowing her free reign to manipulate them all the time, or give her reason to then sell the house and move and take them even further from you.

The thing about this sort of hope is that it’s like when a lottery winner gets in the paper. We can be happy for the winner, but the math doesn’t work out for most of us. I found this philosophy later in life. I have adjusted to the solitude and peace, such that I don’t really want to tip over that apple cart. It’s a lot worse than they are reporting. Birth rates continue their downward tumble. Provisional data from Q3 2020 shows a birth rate of 56.8. If you hide a marital asset illegally and the judge finds out, you will probably lose the whole thing. If you take a sudden departure from your career, you could be hit with imputed income calculations. This represents your earning potential and stops an account from taking a barista position at Starbucks to dodge the financial calculations. If a split is coming or us inevitable, pony up for a lawyer. Personal accounts are still considered marital assets when division is considered.

And my “professional” ex wife decided to hook up with her coworker, repeatedly, in spite of me working a crazy job to keep the lights on and the bills paid. But she was not as clever as she thought she was. Once our children are adults, she can either fully take care of herself or try and latch onto some other sucker once the CS ends.

The philosophy of MGTOW is usually handled with the first two rules of Fight Club in the real world, so it is really not possible to get an accurate assessment of how large we are. Big Tech censorship also tries to get in the way of the philosophy, but it doesn’t seem to be having too much of an effect. Looking at the source of our lovely red pill metaphor, Morpheus wasn’t hunting with a huge band of people relative to the total population either.

Marriage also used to be a serious commitment, and when the country was more religious, there was a much more common premarital counseling. Pre cana, IIRC in the Catholic tradition. However, with no fault divorce, the person who cares the least can pull the plug at any time for half the assets. This makes no mention of spousal or child support burdens (which is BS in joint physical custody, IMO). Add in the selective enforcement of the rules. The whole mess will descend into even more chaos befo…

I would rather be cultivating friendships with bros who have my back in whatever season I am in. I can only speak of my own experience, but the only women I have been able to truly be friends with are where there is mutual unattraction. As soon as there is a hint of innuendo or attraction, the friendly dynamic gets thrown off balance. An off-balance friendship is unfair to everyone involved. Edit: Cannot proofread.

Alternative story: Man emotionally gets beaten by a woman. It’s okay because whatever she did it is his fault anyway. Man files divorce after finding his backbone. If you believe in equality of opportunity and equal protection under the law, that is called being egalitarian. One thing which I admired about my ex wife was that she was not a spendthrift with her money. The state’s take in child support is automatic and fixed, which makes budgeting far easier to manage. However, the total costs of owning the home we once shared are going to hurt and she is in over her head. I expect her to sell the place as soon as my youngest flees the nest.

Had my serial adulteress ex-wife decided not to do what she did, I would not have found this path. Continuing on became a losing game as each “success” came at an increasing cost. Between my children and my career, I have very little time to effectively build something new. I no longer bother. While the red pill rage has subsided since I found this philosophy 7 years ago, I still feel a profound loss from time to time. It brings wisdom I can offer my sons that my dad never had for me.

The single mother issue automatically knocks you into third place at a minimum. It might have a better chance of working if the kids are young enough (under 10) and she takes her meds. It means MGTOW is going to be more important in order to survive. Big tech social media has already psychologically enslaved the minds of most folks. Getting closure can be an elusive, unsatisfiable task. What you need to do is insulate yourself from her. Cut all ties. She does not need to heal. You do. Accept that you cannot be friends. The last sentence is absolutely on point. Sex is great, but there needs to be more to the equation. So many women now reject the traditional roles in their entirety, yet expect men to keep our end of the bargain, and have an equal share in their duties, which is an even larger workload. I won’t even go on about the honey-do lists that many of us former husbands used to have.

I have one female friend that is truly platonic. It exists as such because we find each other mutually unattractive. She’s cool. Otherwise, all of them have some sort of sexual tension between them. The innuendo gets weird sometimes, especially when the tension is unbalanced ... so I tend to keep them at the acquaintance level only. On the plus side, its a steady stream of red pills.

It is scary how hostile things are getting, particularly between men and women. The thing is that every time they cry wolf, every time they falsely accuse without merit, it weakens them in the long term. In retrospect, this environment has freed men from the chains they did not know they had. A woman will keep you from being your very best self because she knows a man at his very best has options. You are fortunate to have learned this at a young age. The compound interest on your self investmen…

I’ll cut they guy some slack. A 10 minute video, even if it is voiceovers on stock photos takes a long time to script, record, and edit. Doing this day after day, year after year, is going to have its fair share of duds. There is not much new to cover at this point, and YT probably doesn’t want this subject to be too popular. My advice is to not invite the government into your relationship as the superior party. Legal marriage is a contract with the state. Keep your relationship to yourselves. One of the only things you cannot do while unmarried that I know of is have one person get the health insurance. Frying my brain at work. I fucking love engineering and coming up with new shit. Otherwise, grill time is a personal favorite. Got two steaks with an applewood seasoning in the fridge right now. The comment section isn’t siding with her bullshit for the most part. I’d like to thank my ex for being the cheater that she was. They are all crazy in their own way. So none of them will ever be like your ex. Some aren’t as bad. Some are worse. However, all of them are allowed to be monsters. They will he cheered on by the sisterhood, the simpanzees, and the unwashed blue pilled masses. There is no undoing the red pill. It is okay to mourn the loss of the life you were promised and to feel wrath at the lies of what you used to hold as truths.

Young men are born poor and die rich. Young women are born rich and die poor. The notion of fairness has to be tossed aside. Accepting the reality for what it is and working within that system will make you successful. Granted, you may need to work at the fringes of said system. When I was 20, I was nailing a hot private school chick when she was 16. Relative to her experience, I was that bad boy that lots of others loved to hate. My mistake? Truth. But height means more to women. Taller men generally got that way due to better nutrition, thus are better for resources for offspring. Society has moved from gratitude and sympathy to apathy to utter disdain for these sacrifices. The great part about being emotionally destroyed by a couple exes is that both of the following work for me: If she says I’m not attractive enough to be with. She’s right. I’m old, overweight, and don’t dress in my tax bracket. If she says I’m attractive, I assume she is a liar or desperate. See previous point. Intermittent Fasting is not a bad practice. But that’s just having a larger non-eating window. It is also largely compatible with whatever diet position you ultimately choose. IF works for me when I keep to it, but that can be tough some times. Keto can work out well because once you’re burning ketones for energy and have adjusted to it, then fat becomes the primary fuel. It’s pretty restrictive, and can also be tough on the liver and kidneys.

Teenage pregnancy is at record lows. From the CDC: Teen birth rates have declined each year since 2007 in the United States, with the national rate in 2018 at 17.4 births per 1,000 females aged 15–19, and the provisional rate in 2019 at 16.6, a record low (1,7).
