I'm gay, and some of the women I work with were beside themselves when they learned they couldn't use flirting to manipulate me. And you don't owe women SHIT. Don't let them manipulate you.

Theres a popular twitter feminist who says the "false rape allegation number is just 2%". I personally don't think its anywhere near that low, more like 7-10%, which is NOT a small number.

This is what I do. Unfortunately to the #metoo crowd, if you do this, you are being unfair. Also men, you do not owe them your time, mentoring, attention. Learn to say no.

This thread is timely! My boyfriends brother is learning this the hard way. Hes been dating a girl and living with her for a year, and dating her for 2. She got divorced from her husband about 5-6 years ago, and has not had a steady job since. Shes been living off the alimony her ex was paying, because she was a stay at home mom since she got married and did not have a degree. That alimony ended a year ago. In between her husband and her boyfriends brother, she lived with a guy for 3 or so years…

I know my grandfather definitely helped out around the house, and my grandmother had a housecleaner come in twice a week to help her. The only thing he really didn’t help with, was laundry. After my grandmother died, it was funny when I went to his house. He had STUFFED the laundry machine and had no idea what he was doing. I had to teach him how to do laundry. My mother faded my clothes, so in HS I refused to let her do my laundry. Its amazing how easy laundry is.

I disagree. It seems 99% of the time, the women are the ones that make the decision to stay home with the kids. It's a risk that SHE has decided to take, therefore, if she gets a divorce, she needs to take responsibility for that risk. It's not the 50s and 60s anymore where women don't have skills other than homemaking.

I hear some of the ladies at work talking about this all the time. When it comes to contributing to the household bills, their husbands basically cover everything with the exception of food. These ladies are, for the most part, Account Execs who most make 70K+. Spending several hundred a month on food is not killing them.

I was bullied in Jr. High, and it was hell. I honestly think a good solution would be to have a school that's specifically for bullies. One school in each state, and if the parents don't want to deal with the time/expense of sending their kids there, then they will get control of their children. This way, the bullies can bully each other, and leave the other kids alone.

Not so quick to judge this lady. There ARE couples that have open marriages. If he works a lot, and especially if he travels, he's probably getting some on the side as well. As far as my opinion about open relationships, I don't care, as long both sides are in agreement.

Yeah, they don't like this at all. Tons of post on the local news article about it calling the men "losers" and telling them to "get a life". Then there's this gem... To each their own but I’m curious as to whether dehumanizing women to benefit men who are afraid of rejection will play out in real life down the line? If he can’t handle rejection and would prefer to have sex with a robot, I wonder if he’d begin to see real women as robots too. Would he still look for and honor consent?

"Men shouldn't hit women" I have ALWAYS hated this saying for a few reasons 1) It gives women the impression they can attack men without consequences. 2) It at least tries to remove mens ability to defend themselves if they are attacked. I don't care what your gender is, KEEP YOU DAMN HANDS TO YOURSELF! And if you can't do that, and you attack someone who is bigger and stronger than you, accept the consequences of whats probably coming to you.

I grew up in a really small community, and even though I dont live there anymore, I see this shit all the time with the oilfield thots. This is how the cycle usually goes: Thot is freshly divorced. She's looking for a "real man" to take care of her and her 2-6 kids. She usually sprinkles bashing of her ex in this. Thot finds new oilfield man. One week later, they are "in love" and moving in together! She has finally found the man of her dreams! Brags on Facebook about how big her new house is, a…

Lives in a trailer with one of her kids, while the other one lives with his dad a few states away. The last marriage lasted about 6 months before she bailed. From what the guy posted on FB after she left him, I know what happened. She expected for him to pamper her, and when he didn't, she bailed. Dodged a HUGE bullet with that one.

I was talking with a few women at work, and we got on the subject of women's rights, equality, etc. As we were talking, I asked if the fight for equality extended to the criminal justice system. Neither one of them wanted to talk about it. I wonder why?

Might be successful, you never know. At the end of the day, we are accountable for actions, and the consequences.

I don't necessarily agree with that. Plenty of women have had affairs and bounced back.

I think its just simply a case of Petraeus and Clinton having more resources. I just saw on Wikipedia that Broadwell started her own media consulting firm, so she doesn't seem to be doing too badly.

My sister said that Lewinsky suffered far more than Bill Clinton did. She also says he was never taken to task for what he did. I disagree with both points.

I would almost bet money she gets MAYBE 1-2 years and probation, if that.

Every time I see stories in the nedia about some mother who murders her children, its always met with comments like "People don't know what she was going through!!" Or "why wasn't anyone there to help her!?" Its absolutely disgusting.

I really do wonder how many actresses and actors have gotten roles by having sex with the producers.....

Stuff like this is the reason I wait until I have more information before I make a judgment about an allegation.

OK, I have a question. Was it made clear to the guy what the deal was before they went on camera? He may have known, and consented before they started filming.

If you have your kids 50 percent of the time, neither one of you should be paying CS.

Women at my workplace get away with murder regarding the dress code. I see women dressing down to the point I would get sent home for in a heartbeat.

This was always funny to me. When I got my license at 16, the insurance co. wanted to triple my parents insurance rate to put me on their policy. They figured it was cheaper to buy me my own car and insurance, and did. My sister, however, just got put on their policy with a minimal bump. Guess who the better driver was? Thats right, me. My sister had 2 accidents by her 18th birthday, one of which she drove our parents suburban into our house. She has had 3-4 other at-fault accidents since then. …
