Widower, married 20 years to what I can only describe as a unicorn and went MGTOW monk when she died. Best decision of my life as the dating/relationship market now is pure garbage.

Hate is a drain on my energy, I have no time for that dirty noise so I just wish the simps well and hope they finally make their way to us one day.

City boy here, outdoors and me do not mix I work inside (I am an RN) eat inside and live inside. The only outdoors I experience is getting in and out of the car!

I live in Texas over in El Paso, here we have a shit ton of civilization free desert full of wildlife to make a shooters playground out of. I love going out to hunt especially coyote and cottontail with the occasional quail or stray mountain deer. If you are ever out here I will show you around places that are truly free for gun nuts all over!

For work I like to use my Jinhao 450, real workhorse of a pen or like you a Safari fine point. My current faves would have to be the new Wordsworth and Black as well as my Conklin Mark Twain with the push button bladder, odd but unique design! My overseas friends think I am an oddball because I like to send them personal updates via letter instead of email or other social media to the point they call me Charles Dickens. In my opinion a hand written letter is more of a treat to write, send and re…

For me its cigars, wine, target shooting/hunting and fountain pens. Leisurely but enjoyable passtimes slowly disappearing in this clown world we live in!

For me it was 15 years married to a true unicorn, in my eyes anyways, and having old Mr. Grim give us permanent separation, luckily for us we were adamantly r/childfree so never had any crotch goblins to take care of.. I found myself a widower but instead of jumping into an already poisoned dating pool or wallowing in black pill sorrow I went my own way. I became a monk without a religion and never looked back since. Life is mine and only mine, I have an ok job that I can live on, enough saved f…

Before going full monk I used to go to brothels in Mexico pretty frequently when I was young. Got to live all my most "taboo" (for back then anyway) desires without having to wake up to her in the morning (this was the 70s when stuff like bdsm, force play, age play and stuff like that were not yet mainstream in the US) and it worked for me at least back then.

I am an odd duck for most, my "secret" for life is just not giving two shits about anything that does not concern you, if it does try and find a way to change it quietly instead of screeching like a banshee.. Exersise is grand if you have the time but ordinary moving makes up for it. The state of the world may be one big asylum but guess what you are the inmate that made it out, the world is YOURS stop fucking around with clowns. In your dwelling do your thing, wanna live like a hobo in a studio…

No I want told anything, in my case I was what's known as now as an ADHD child that is a psychotic. In whatever slim form of empathy to spare my future mom and child the burden. And no I am not Ted Bundy many with my personality give a cruel damn.

I am lucky enough to be the eccentric one that kids don't even like lol its like I have a natural child repellent so any child addled family members know to stay away from crazy old deep hurting..

Nah lol we were loft dwelling socialites.. We were the definition of weird but were wonderful together, shit if we had a picket fence we would have probably put gory rubber heads on it to piss off the neighbors..

If she was she did a damn good job of it lol we were proud child free world travelers that even at our ages, she was 45 and I was 56 when she passed. We never even had as much as a spat and the sex remained constant and kinky as hell all the way to the end. I think it was our eccentric nature that was the glue to what we had going on, we saw the world thru the eyes of the delightfully mad, an art long dried out by today's cookie cutter society.

I hate to be the odd one out but I had a unicorn, I was married many years to the ideal wife for me anyway. We were freaking demons in our decadence and evil ways (we were Larry Flynt and Eileen Wornoss meets the Addams family) and were happy till she died. The NAWALT exists but only if fate smiles or you are damn bat shit crazy..

So true, I used to be an original socialist hippie back in the 60s.. Lives a poor stoner life for a bit, didn't trust anyone over 30 and was shagging any STD ridden hole for kicks until reality bit me in the ass. I was 27, broke and destined for nothing. My life turned around soon after I cleaned up and went a different path I was on. Im much older now as yes I am a boomer but believe me, socialism gets old fast when you run out of money and the begging pot has hole in it!

I have a coworker that almost got divorced over a TV, dude bought an 8K (resolution) one with HIS tax money and some he had saved. According to him his wife blew a gasket as that was all THEIR money.. He had to go back to Best Buy with his man cave set and return it lest she leave with his son. The dude is whipped beyond belief IMO

My MGTOW journey began after my wife of 15 years died. I am a boomer, it was drilled in our heads that marriage was happiness. We had an outstanding life together but must admit my golden years are better spent as a bachelor, modern women are freaking crazy! If you meet a halfway decent one she either has kids and or has a multitude of alphabet mental illness like ADHD, ASPD, BPD, PTSD ect..in other words a ticking bomb that isn't worth it!

Cutting certain people off, especially the negative ones in your life is like getting rid of a cancer. Focus on you, not some toxic ball and chain "friends" or family that like to see you wallow in the gutter with them. When you make it up that hill to the deluxe apartment in the sky give them a ring, the jealousy they spout off is truly delicious!!

The political zealots are the same morons that live and die by their sports teams as they are so damn inadequate they have to live thru others. The woman haters are the immature nice guy/neckbeard that think they are entitled to all the poon on the planet because they tip their stupid hat or the poor sap that got dragged thru a field of thorns in divorce court. Totally agree they are poison to our movement but level heads can and will stand above the scum for sure. Once you hit my age you unders…

I am conservative leaning but am no way a zealot as for politics I leave it up to the individual person MGTOW is a movement for ALL men, antifa left, trumper right anyplace in the comfortable middle, black pill nihilist or a flat earther that worships a toad. Politics has no place in our movement, with us its just us guys living free and doing our own thing whatever it may be.

They were our times indeed, they will live with me forever, it was only a chapter of life. This is my new page now, living the life of a free man, hate to sound selfish but when we were together it was always WE as in decision and compromise, and now that I am alone its just me, one decision and no regrets. Maybe I will see her in afterlife, 20 years of being hitched might have tied us together over there, till then I will enjoy the freedom here.

Shit man I'm 63 and still have a lot of life in me.. I'm not gonna conquer the world but I'm financially set, paid off car, paid off credit cards and everything else. Married life was alright but now that she's gone I found what I was missing all these years, FREEDOM! Long live the simple and minimalist life, no drama, no plans, no stress, no bullshit. Same with the urges thing, itch ever hits an escort is always a phone call away but for me anyway not in the cards anytime soon. Here's to the MG…

I have a similar story, my wife has been dead 8 years and guys ive hung with for years are constantly trying to set me up with women they know. I tell them I'm happy single, not at all interested in hooking up and all I get is the snark "must be nice" shit. They are slaves to their wives and kids and I'm free as a bird..the green eye monster is strong with them.

This is my life, I am somewhat affluent but looking at my junker car and bleh fashion sense you will never know. But enter my home and it looks like Neeman Marcus and Brookstone threw up in it and its an unassuming flat among countless others in a middle of the road neighborhood.

Im going to Morocco Tangier, its near Spain, quite secular and a home to many western expats looking to flee the madness and live like royalty on the cheap. I already have a small villa set up, place costs less than half the rent on the flat I pay for here in Texas, is twice the size and being 2nd world nation its a lot less bullshit.

I am bailing by next years end to North Africa because of this sham of election, I was planning in leaving in 2025 but this hastened my decision. Biden is a senile puppet at best and his cronies will be pulling the strings unless they get rid of him all together and install that blatant Marxist Harris.. Then the shit will really hit the fan by the truck load!

Unpopular opinion.. The men of the greatest generation were the epitome of simp. Boomers got a little less then it trickled down to the MGTOW we have now.

15 years I was married, we were happy thru the majority but the last 3 or so years we were heading to dead bedroom territory as after so long you tend to drift from becoming husband and wife to becoming roommates. Luckily we were die hard child free so there was never a kid involved but its a mixed blessing she passed when she did. Its been nearly 7 years since her departure but I know for a fact if she still lived I would have been one of those blank stare having soul less old men with her lead…

Comments like this make me so glad to have the life I got. I work like a dog in the healthcare industry but can return to my quiet home in peace, eat what I want, light up a cigar before work and down some wine on the days off.. Funny because I was married 15 years, thought I was happy till she died..found out how miserable I actually was till I found the mgtow red pill.

This is why ive always been r/childfree even in the years I was married (I am a mgtow widower now) just fair warning if you go to that sub, its a shark pit of cat ladies and their ilk but they all have the right idea to live child free and happy.

Hey man I'm old enough to be your grandpa and i can tell you its the way we were raised. Get a wife, get a house and poop out kids, rinse and repeat.. It was ground into our heads since childhood! And yes I was married 15 years and its a story for r/deadbedrooms before she passed away..

I drive a beater car, ordinary clothes and live in a quiet flat community but the inside of my home looks like Neeman Marcus threw up in it. Everything from my Baccarat crystal glasses to corinthian leather furniture and Stearns and Foster bed.. I live the luxe life in quiet secret.

I was married for 15 years before she passed away, in the beginning it was great for about the first 8 years then it got to the point we may as well have been room mates. The sex stopped, interest in each other became platonic from the passion that once was. We went from Gomez and Morticia to Harold and Maude! When she passed I found mgtow and honestly never looked back as I'm happier now than I was when I was hitched.

Conforming to any "norm" is for sheep. Live your own life and to hell with anyone telling you otherwise, the best part of going your own way is not giving a duck about what others think and living life YOUR way!

Im bailing to Morocco, got a small villa on down payment in old interzone Tangier. There is a huge expat community out there, place is second world, emerging third so feminism isn't really a thing and its a booming hipsters paradise without the douche bag attitudes of most western countries.
