!!!!!!!Read the handbook!!!!! If you even have to screenshot any of his messages to you... to have them evaluated by people on the internet, you already know what the answer is. Any more emotion/time spent thinking/talking to this man is a waste and you’ll look back later and regret continuing to tie yourself up in him. BLOCK & DELETE!! You got this, sis.

What! Omg thankful I’m not the only one. I wonder what that is?????? He was super emotionally abusive but came from a good background and had such a fabulous education I never took him at face value because it was always like, “nah... you can’t actually be this way given all your exposure to the world etc.” He was the only man I ever eventually felt endangered by. Not because he was aggressive with me but because he truly did not care for me or anyone, it seemed, other than himself.

Mine had a PhD in the sciences from there and was honestly the most LVM I’ve ever met. moved across the country twice on my own renovated an apartment completely on my own as well (a lot of hard work but very fun) am completing a highly competitive masters program in the arts wrote/directed two short films and have written 2 tv pilots that are garnering interest can knit your ears off also am a bit of a plant mom (aka. a lot of one) and have managed to keep all my babies alive…

Got out of the situationship (I’ve posted about here a few times) I was in a month ago. I tried to get some jewelry back (nothing expensive which I know is against FDS but I’d always let stuff go in previous relationships and I think the recovering pickmeisha in me was also flaring) and he basically told me not to contact him anymore because I no longer had a crappy suitcase he lent me 8 months ago and forgot I even had which was falling apart and not worth the space I was using to store it. And…

The final boss of shitty, emotional abusive, lazy, cold and calculated, secretive/lying men I’ve dated was a Capricorn. Literally the only one who also would never officially date me and, looking back, am almost 100% sure I was the girl he was cheating on a serious long distance girlfriend WITH. After Capricorn, Taurus are 🤢 No. Thank. You.

I've commented about this before. Even made a post and then promptly deleted it because I was embarrassed to admit that I was finally at that place. But after 8 months, I've finally started to detox out of a "situationship" with a NVM. He had everything I wanted on the surface: very handsome, incredibly educated with an ivy league phd/post-doc, great dresser, amazing apartment, wonderful job, cultured ... but he had to be one of the meanest, most emotionally unavailable men I've ever met. Obviou…

Omg. An “ex” accused me of emotional abuse any time I tried to talk to him about something other than himself. He never paid for a single thing in our relationship despite me bringing it up over and over again (I know, I know, disgusting) Finally, I politely asked him if he would please pay for movie tickets for the film we were going to go see together that night and he yelled at me about how I was being abusive and he was tired of me “gaslighting him” 😂

not an ex but i definitely stayed in a situationship for 8 months now that was.... 8 months too long. I got caught up in the fact that he was def ZVM but appeared to HV.... as if having an ivy league education, a decent job, and paying attention to your appearance make you HV? But I have to forgive myself there. Finally told him last night that I don't deserve this kind of treatment and that he needed to behave better after telling me I couldn't see him because he's "too depressed" which is some…

I just have to say. I found this sub a month ago and it has really helped me! Like so many other women. But I’m stuck. Stuck in a cycle with a ZVM. I’ve wasted 7 months of my life doing this and am so emotionally and mentally drained. He never sees me. Never calls. Has bailed on me 15 + times since I met him. Refuses to make it a relationship. Frequently disappears. Has never texted me first or initiated contact. Has kicked me out of his house at 2 a.m. multiple times. Once ghosted me for a week…

Def had this multiple times but once that stuck out to me was going on a first date with a guy. Nothing bad happened. He didn't give off creeper vibes or anything. But after the first date, we parted ways and afterwards, I burst out into tears. Though he never said or did anything wrong/mean the whole experience felt like I was a cat being pet from tail to head. Wasn't right. Turns out, I'd waste 8 months of my life on that guy. Never again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
