Matches are solely based off looks for online dating, that’s a fact. Getting to a date from matches is another story. And finding someone in person is obviously not only based off of looks imo. In fact I would argue that in person, personality trumps looks after your first sentence

I wasn’t in the mood to hit on girls that night in the beginning, unfortunately just one of those nights/moods. I would say the same normally about it being creepy and her laughing in a making fun kind of way but her and her friend went purposefully moved RIGHT in front of us in a crowded standing room concert, and they left their better view for ours which was more on the side.

Hey sometimes being harsh is the right answer and I totally get where you’re coming from with the advice, so thank you for that. I just thought that because we’ve known each other for a while and we used to hang out a lot back in the day very frequently, that this weird idea would somehow work. Thanks for the advice. Normally I wouldn’t do this with a girl I’ve only met or even known for a little, but we’ve hung out as friends many many times before long ago in the past so I didn’t see it as a big deal really. Also the fitness venue is very interactive with your workout partner so I saw it as a cool opportunity to try something new dating wise with opportunities to laugh and touch each other a lot. I totally see where you’re coming from though, we’ll see how it goes!

We exchanged contact info/socials during the week and when I got back I checked it out and turns out she unfortunately was not lying. It’s a long distance relationship though so she was probably in need of something physical and it assuredly helped that we we’re both inebriated the whole week
