I have this friend group, and we’ve known each other for about half a year. There’s this girl Sarah, who I think is quite cute and we flirt a lot and seem to have a connection. I was casually dating a few other girls since I’ve known her, and didn’t want to rope her into that at the same time. (She has whispered/told me before to stay over, when I’m drinking a little...she lives alone)

One of her best friends tells me point blank when she’s a little tipsy this past weekend, that there’s so much obvious sexual tension between Sarah & I. She also starts inquiring if I’m into Sarah. I play kinda dumb as everyone else is listening (Sarah’s not there this night) but I let her know that yeah I think she cute and yeah I would go out with her.

Turns out the week after, my dating life kinda frees up and so I call Sarah to ask her out. She says that “I think we do have a connection, but I’m not dating right now”. We’ve always been terrible (boring) at communicating on the phone/texting, but when we see each other there really is a lot of sexual tension.

What do I do when I see her in a couple of weeks?
