So are you upset because you have a lot to offer and feel like you're being passed over? The person we are talking about self identified as being not super attractive and the post itself implies lack of confidence and the like. So this isn't about her...

I disagree with you. I've never had a hard time finding committed relationships with nice, valuable men, in high school, college, or out of school entirely. Step 1: be pleasant. Make friends. Talk to everyone. Take a variety of classes. Don't sleep around. Vet carefully. Step 2: meet other people through them. Some of these people will be men. Vet carefully. Step 3: one of the people you meet will be a nice man who will commit. Have fun! In my experience... most people want to be in love. Even t…

Honestly I prefer the last one. I would rather have a woman who knows what she's like and handles it before it get terrible, than does some of the fucked up shit we've seen on this sub.

I had some. I tried to shut them down (some very cruelly) but they tend to just...hang around. When I was young I encouraged it, not really knowing the power? And then a boyfriend explained it to me and I cut it out. There were a lot of people/factors that led me to not indulging them. But I completely agree that having people drooling over you with no checks or balances could mess with your brain.

Sure? RPW basically boils down to just not being any of the derogatory female terms: slut, bitch, harpy. It means being a better type of woman. You can do that without a captain. I'm curious on what you don't like about it though. Like...for the most part it's just coming up with roles for your relationship and you both doing different things. No point in both of you doing the same chore. You don't need to wash dishes twice. But maybe your dishwasher is broken and you need one of you to wash dis…

That sounds fine to me. I'm worried about how much you're overthinking it... just DO. Worst that happens is she says no. You better go ask out a few other girls and get a backup plan or something so you don't hyper focus on her...

I was attractive and well liked in high school. Came from an accepting Catholic background though. Always had LTRs (1 year, 2 years, 4 years, 2 years) with downtime in between so my count is low. I always dated "nice guys" though so I think that helped. I dunno if it has to do with warm and supportive parents juxtaposed against intense financial struggles ? I think things that keep the BS away NATURALLY are -parents or key relatives/whatever that demonstrate healthy relationships in youth -havin…

But hey before I ever found redpill I gave head like my relationships depended on it, and my relationships have only ever ended peacefully and for good reason. All long relationships too.

I generally say things very simply but without showing them directly redpill things. Most people I encounter are backburner aware of the stuff...they just don't want to admit it. One carefully chosen sentiment will stand out in their minds for a long, long time. My aunt for example told me the best way to keep a man around was.......blowjobs. I remembered that always. There's some other choice sentiments from people I admired which changed me. So you can tell her things without being directly re…

1) you might need more interesting/conversation generating responses to his questions. You might be boring and thus not worth the response. If he's not an avid texter, you'll have to entice him to be so. 2) be prepared for him to bail. Don't put all your eggs in that basket. He may be trying to show lack of interest on purpose to do exactly this, to get you interested and such. Regular redpill advocates not having conversations with women over text. 3) I would probably try to go on another one o…

Let me know if you need anything else. I had a lot of obtrusive and more subtle triggers and I feel like I got through most of them pretty well (with help).

As someone who was sexually assaulted and also had a thing about my neck... it's just conditioning. First have it just be off limits (which he respects). Then have him touch you on your terms. Tell him your goal so he can back off immediately if needed. Expect probably some crying. You just have to convince your brain that while those bad people did those bad things...this person can be trusted. Once you can deal with him doing it on your terms then have him to it "randomly" by his choice. It co…

I second the idea of travel/volunteering to some place in need. Peace Corps or Habitat for Humanity or a program that will put you in it will help. If you have a tendency toward being lazy, you'll need to go without a ton of safety financially. Which you will do if you travel of your own accord--you'll naturally stay to the good places.

When a guy is relentless, and is told no over and over without getting the hint, and is also impeding her ability to get with the best man in the room...she doesn't want our OP to think they might be together. The public forum + irritation = some nastiness

College or HS classes. Friend of friends mostly. Work, once. Never again for that. Tinder, actually, landed me a really nice guy too.

To be fair, a relationship based on fear of losing someone (ie dread game) is pretty much what we talk about here. But yeah, I agree with your message overall. Did he respond?

Their relationship could also have been crashing and burning pre-rape, and the situation just magnified the problems. During the healing process she just couldn't be assed to keep pretending.

I workout like a crazy person. I'm a dancer so when I'm training for a competition I am at the studio like 2 hours a day and then at the regular gym for another 2 hours; if I'm not training it's still like two hours a day and my routines are similar, just more condensed. I mix it up a lot because otherwise I get bored. Also I have ADD and it keeps my hyperactivity in check if I'm, you know, exhausted. Generally I go in like six week spurts. So I do between a half hour to an hour of cardio, focus…

Once they found out it was about 50/50. Some would stay (bata orbiters), some would go (perhaps not "alpha" but men with some damn sense in their head lol).

I ended up here because someone said something about TRP like, "The biggest group of sexist pigs in reddit, the whole subreddit reads like a bunch of whiney babies who can't get laid." So I came over and started reading posts and ended up agreeing with what was being said...I think it was a good choice. :-P

Unbox love has spiced up my LTR a bit. It's one of those monthly boxes but their whole thing is to have random date ideas that they send you everything for. $40 a month and they also send good conversation starters. We've done it for like six months now and we both look forward to getting it in the mail.

Because leaving is effort. He might be resistant to change. He may not want to hurt you or may feel he doesn't have other options.

As someone who split with their love with a mental illness because they refused to go to therapy or take medication...at least go to therapy and see what they say. At least make the effort. Because it sucks to be on the other end and after a certain point anything you do will be too little too late.

Its all about how you present yourself I think. If you're completely buried in your book, of course no one is going to come over. But if you look up every time someone comes in, you can make eye contact with Cute Man and smile and then keep looking up, and keep smiling...guys are way more likely to come over.

My SO and I have sex a lot (daily 1 or 2 times) but we both have a "too tired" excuse we can cash in on. This is mostly for me... I get up early for work and I get tired pretty much the same time every night and I crash hard. If we try to have sex when I'm tired like that I just keep thinking, "Please just hurry up and finish" and I hate that, so we worked it out so that if he gets home too late and I'm too tired we pass and I blow him in the morning. Works out well. :-P And we have sex twice to…

Exactly. Everyone in the marriage/family has roles so no one person feels they have to do everything. Trust means you don't feel the need to micromanage or do their work over or anything like that. :) it's good to be able to relax. And the role of leader is a heavy one. It runs more smoothly if people aren't vying for power.

I may not be the person to ask because I'm not "rpw" in any strict sense. But to me a red pill RELATIONSHIP (opposed to plate spinning or whatever) is about...fairness. Something I teach my kindergartners is that what is fair is not always the same for every kid. That I adjust my behaviors to best suit where they are individually. Same goes in my relationship. You work as a team. And on any team if you have everybody performing the same roles it doesn't work. Everyone gets a different job. In ou…

Spent all my summers in Newport, can confirm. Something there about the girls that I've noticed is that they all look pretty much the same. All hot, but the same general look. Kind of interesting.

Well, they were probably sexting and setting it up. "just gotta dump the bf and then I'll be over and you can fck me."

To be fair, the kinds of girls that go to clubs also probably aren't prime LTR relationship material, if you're into that kind of thing.

I think it kind of goes along with the idea that the type of girl who will have a male stripper at her bachelorette party is also more likely to be the type to suck strange dick. A quality woman wouldn't put herself in a compromising situation like that.

I've been working out and doing well on that front...I feel like a model after being big for such a long time. My SO is over the moon since I have pretty much lost all the weight for his sake. Went to the pool with a friend and I looked amazing. :) My next big goal is making more time to hit on all the love languages with my SO while he is having trouble finding a new job. :) Got lots of good advice on this board on how to help him and I want to implement it.

He hates it so much! I hurt so much for him. :( I know he'll get something more appropriate soon but having me be the bigger wage earner (I teach elementary school) makes him...uncomfortable to say the least. But you guys have good advice. _^ I'm going to be extra attentive to letting him rule the roost at home for sure.

Another thing to remember is that hair will grow back out. So take him at his word for now unless his actions show otherwise, and do cute stuff with it until it grows out again. :)

Also, you still are just 17. The teenage brain is a little different from the adult woman brain so don't be so hard on yourself...the important thing is to keep trying. Changing the way you think takes time. Don't come down so hard when you falter, but do come up with a plan to prevent yourself from making future mistakes in the future. For example, explain to me exactly what you feel your mistake was (yes I can read but it's a thought exercise) and what you can do to prevent a faux pas next tim…
