Can't go anywhere but up. It is all mental. Even the physical is mental. That's where lifting comes in. Yep, it gets you physically attractive, but more importantly it mentally conditions you. You learn that you can do what you thought you couldn't. You burn anger and stress, so you give much less of a fuck. It creates "me time" so you feel more valuable to yourself without anyone's approval. It got me to going out with friends(admittedly not as much as I'd like, due to being super busy) I hadn'…

Sounds like right where I am. Not attracted to a moody little bitch. Gets to the point that the hard no pisses me off, not because of the no, but because of the attitude with it. Spent several sleepless nights in anger, but is getting better. I know that I am at a better place in life than she is, and for once since we got together my SMV is equal-if not higher than hers. One thing that is starting to work for me is when I make a move and she responds positively, I go full throttle beast mode. I…

Starting out, it is fpr sex and respect from your wife. I believe, in my case anyway, that's the only way to start. Then you realize that it ain't about her. Hell I'm 6 weeks in, and already realized that oneitis is a disease, but is cureable.

She can lose weight if she really wants, but not as easily as I can. She doesn't have the will power. She was running 3 miles 2-3 days a week 2 years ago. Did it for a year and a half, lost 5 pounds. Can't stop the junk food. She would rather me get fat again than her have to work. (deep down we all know this ain't true). She is 34 and truly has hit a wall. Not saying she couldn't pull a Chad, but couldn't keep me happy, much less Chad.

Physically she is attractive to me, but her whinning kills that.

6'-6'1". We're basically the same height.

Thats kinda where I am. I don't think I am attractive. I get no IOIs, no flirting. But I am way better than I was, I care about ME. For ME. I don't care about being turned down, don't care about a hard no. I just don't want to hear a whinny excuse! Would rather here "not tonight," "it ain't gonna happen," or just plain no.

Don't bother me. To clarify, she is 6' tall, and carries it "like a man" if you will. Not a bowling pin wide ass.

I am 244 dressed in work boots, down from 357 a year ago on the same scales. At the gym this morning, in my boxers I was 230. I don't know her weight, but it was 235-240 a while back and although she looks smaller, she claims she hasn't lost weight. I told her over the weekend(was at 236 Friday) while she was saying I was obsessed with the gym, that I wanted to beat 235 this week. Her reply was something to the words of "that's what I weigh."

Right there with ya bro. No rhyme nor reason. 3 days early this month, yep! 2 days late next, yep! Lasts for 6 days this round, Okiedokie! 2 days next round, WTF!

Must agree with this. I fight doing the same thing all the time! Practice DGAF

Yes! This is the hardest for me. Trying to let go of her (and everyone else's) validation. Just trying to keep pushing every minute.

That's the problem. Any reaction whatsoever, even positive is always met by "you're mad now." Any response to that, even STFU will be met by "you're pissed at me." AM really fucks with her hamster, but in a sexual rejection, because of years of being pissed about it, nothing can come across as IDGAF, not even IDGAF or AM.

Seriously not butthurt at all. My problem is when I show that I DGAF, it comes off as butthurt. Need help with not looking butthurt when I'm truly not.

Southern thing. Dinner is at noon, supper in the evening.

True, guess I just went with the usual. Sick of that shit, gotta keep pressing on and make the change.

I wasn't pissed, mad, rejected, or butthurt at all by the hard no. I rolled over, grabbed my phone and read up on lifting exercises. I truly could have cared less. I just don't know if I should carry into today as if nothing is wrong(where her hamster will reason that turning me down doesn't make a difference). Or withdraw a little attention(most likely looking butt hurt, causing her hamster to think-know-she has me where she wants me).

More of a facial problem. I get cold, still, and hard. Hell even I think it looks angry.

I'm not angry. I just want to appear DGAF. In the past my DGAF attitude comes across as anger, not just to my wife, but to everyone.

I guess the only way is to truly DGAF. If I come off as butthurt or not, I DGAF. Letting go of her(and others') validation is hard as fuck, but the most freedom and happiness I could imagine.

Not my choice, grandparents asked for the kids for that night. I hadn't realized shark week had started till I got home that afternoon, kids already gone. And technically it didn't even turn into date night, just supper and bitterness.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
