3	Is being a game developer for the video game industry receives more cash vs. web developer? And, what's the best begginer's guide in doing sideline job while working on the current job? Game Dev jobs are hard to find and have a lot of competition, which drives down salaries and also drives up expectations and leads to unpaid overtime, stress etc. Web devs are the opposite, there are more jobs available than quality devs to fill them. 1	Done fucked up in high school,now what? (short) I work in software development. Management now but used to be a developer. Noone cares what your grades are like as long as you can cut good code. You need to be good at math, and be creative but in a very technical sense of the word.
