Weekly Community Chat MegathreadBecause they're ^cowards No, I understand the situation and I'd gladly take not being the initiator if I had that choice. Shit sux. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 10:10 AM
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadIt's just that I've never seen women "do" anything when it comes to actually pursuing. No covert glances or w/e, no I mean actually being the aggressor. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 08:16 AM
Weekly Community Chat Megathread...now what? Count your blessings. Man... All of the opportunities I'd be afforded with SEVEN (7) loaves of bread. The world is your oyster. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 06:04 AM
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadThe reason you are lonely is because of you. Well shit... If you can feel good about your circumstances, that is, you feel like you can take credit for everything good that has happened to you, that's good. I tend to have a problem with people that take that to the extreme, in general, because they seem to be blind to everything and everyone that helped them along the way. It's great to have an internal locus of control as long as you're not delusional. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 03:17 AM
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadThere are probably a lot of furries on Reddit as well. I rest my case. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 02:56 AM
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadGood. You're braver than a lot of men, even when you don't have to be. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 02:33 AM
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadMust feel nice. To use that as an excuse for being a coward. "Socially acceptable" my ass, you won't be ostracized for being the pursuer. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 02:28 AM
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadI don't know. Why do people say winning the lottery is impossible when there are plenty of winners? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 02:24 AM
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadIt's just that. Inherently bad, it doesn't jibe with our biological makeup. It's not just "societies oppressive ideas" that makes loneliness a bad thing. It triggers something fundamental when it hits us, something like "Fuck I'm not in a tribe which could only mean that sasquatch is about to have his way with me!" And being alone does not equal feeling lonely. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 02:19 AM
How do you feel about many red pill gurus and dating coaches being shown to be not so successful in real life?Peak internet. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 12:29 AM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsI seriously doubt that. People that feel like they want children will put up with any and all crap just to have them. Child support or not. Which will just put these children in even worse situations. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/02/21 12:05 AM
Women are Ecpathic (Ecpathy-ek-patheia) towards men. Live UpdateWouldn't be a proper PPD-thread without you inserting your "just-world" bullshit, now would it? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 11:10 PM
How do you feel about many red pill gurus and dating coaches being shown to be not so successful in real life?If any gurus "advice" requires you to pay a single dime... Do a 360 and moonwalk out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 10:42 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsYou've tried to muddy the waters with your fucked up situation from the start. I'm not saying it is a perfect solution but it IS and SHOULD be a perfectly reasonable option for someone, ESPECIALLY for someone in your situation. Yet it's not... And that terrifies me. You would've fucked up trying to raise a kid at 16. There's no "hard to say" or any of that bullshit. Child support or not. SURE you could've landed a hail mary but exactly ALL the cards were stacked against you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 10:06 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsNo, it's not hard to say. No matter how far you'd like to drag this off topic. Yes life can be miserable high-five I guess. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 09:46 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsHe's also wildly misogynistic. But maybe that's your thing. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 09:23 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsAlright, that's all very sad, truly. So let me ask you this. Would you have been better off with a kid at 16? Your mother probably put you in a better situation even if that wasn't her intention. A broken clock and all that. I mean given your situation a kid would've probably been a death knell to your entire fucking livelihood not to mention the kids future. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 09:13 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsYour mother wanted you to realize the gravity of the situation, she was probably just as scared as you were. Think about just how shitty your situation could've been if you didn't abort. That's why I'm all for abortion and pro-lifers and their abortion shaming can go fuck themselves. It's not a pretty solution but it's what we have. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 08:48 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsOk so what was the alternative? You raise the kid without the father in the picture? If that wasn't the case and the twerp actually wanted to raise a kid with you, you have my sympathies. If your plan was to raise the child on your own at 16... Just no. It sucks that we have to subsidize the stupidity of children but that life. It benefits everyone in the long run but that's the only reason. Edit: I'm unclear about whatever laws apply to you, were you actually forced? As in legally your parents … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 08:28 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsOh absolutely. They're both idiots but the single parent with the entire picture laid out in front of them, with the ability to stop the madness at any point yet choose not to, is not only the clown but the entire god damn circus. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 08:21 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsSpare me the crocodile tears, women have all the options these days. If you want to bring life into this world because of narcissistic, egotistical tendencies despite your trashy situation you'll get no sympathy from me. Yes abortion is messy but the alternative is just as, if not more grim. YOU put yourself in that situation, you made the right choice even if it was difficult but that's life. We don't get to have a perfect world. Updoot for being that wise at 16. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 08:12 PM
The "problems" in the dating market are just growing pains from a rapidly changing society.I bet we beat her to the punch If only just to spite her, that bitch. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 07:53 PM
The "problems" in the dating market are just growing pains from a rapidly changing society. She'll end us no matter what. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 07:44 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsI personally think it's stupid to want to be a single parent when you know the child won't have a father. And if that hinges on a measly child support cheque, you're dumb as bricks. If the option to opt out results in less fatherless kids it's a win in my book. Unfortunately, I don't think that would be the outcome, just more fatherless children being raised in squalor with one dumbfuck parent. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 07:34 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto Abortionsallowed to financially abort outside of marriage Fair and I'd like that option personally. Ideally this would lead to more abortions but I doubt it. Probably just more kids growing up in poor conditions with one parent. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 07:25 PM
Tennessee Bill Would Allow Fathers to Veto AbortionsTennessee Bill sounds like a great drinking companion. He's got a lot of adventures to tell you about and he's a great story teller. He's a no nonsense kind of guy and a bit of a cowboy but if you don't find that stuff abrasive, he's quite the pal. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 07:11 PM
The "problems" in the dating market are just growing pains from a rapidly changing society.I think humanity will be better off, once we've left our ancient biology behind for good Yes but we're here now. I'm not too concerned about what our sci-fi descendants might enjoy. Not even sure that's where we're headed. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 05:41 PM
How many others share this experience? You have to be unrealistically exceptional to have a good time using OLD as a dude. Don't worry too much about that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 05:10 PM
The "problems" in the dating market are just growing pains from a rapidly changing society.things are much better now for everyone In terms of material comforts, life expectancy, personal freedoms. But they come at a cost imposed on us by our ancient biology. We're more atomized and less dependent on each other which leads to all kinds of difficult to predict crap downstream. Sure I think we can all agree that we'd rather live now than 200 years ago but all change is not good and we're bad at predicting future issues (see fossil fuels). | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 04:51 PM
The "problems" in the dating market are just growing pains from a rapidly changing society. If enough people oppose the direction society is headed, it will change course (ideally). Of course, your individual desires make little difference on a societal level. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/02/21 04:36 PM

Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenI’d feel horrible after Because you feel like you've been outplayed. Because sex holds value to you, because you feel like you have the upper hand and you don't want to squander it. You don't have to feel like that, it's up to you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:51 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About Menyou should wait. Or just fuck him if you feel like it? It's just sex after all, it's not like you're selling the house. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:43 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenI'm fine with my behaviors. And so am I. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:41 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenThat's all because you've been led to believe that men crave only one thing. Something that can be established at first glance basically. However, you'd be an idiot to think that men have some secret ability to just KNOW that a woman would be great LTR material upon first glance. Men know who they want to fuck, that's it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:37 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenYou keep trying to figure that out. And I'll try to figure out why women need to have rose-tinded glasses and apply mental gymnastics every time they have to view their own behavours. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:27 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenDress it in whatever bs feels more palatable to you. But you do that with sex, specifically, because that's probably where you hold some leverage when it comes to establishing a LTR. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:18 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenMost men figure this out before they even have sex with a woman. Come on.... | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:11 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About Menjust be honest with women. Is that what you do? Just going around being honest, expecting other people to be just as clear about their intentions? Doubt it. I also bet that you'd run for the hills if too much honesty came pouring out of your partners mouth, just like he/she'd run if the roles were reversed. Honesty isn't a virtue. Unless you're a celibate monk. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 08:00 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenSorry. I shall repent, I'll make arrangements and join the nearest monastery. Since that's the right way to live my life. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 07:52 PM

Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenWe both wanted sex, we both wanted commitment, I just happen to be looking for a unicorn and she's probably not the one. I'm as innocent as a lamb. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 07:30 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenYeah ofc I'd tell her this at some point after I got pp wet. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 07:23 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenLie? It's not like I promise to marry her if we fuck a few times. She'd be the fool for thinking I was some sort of sex for relationship ATM. And maybe I am looking for commitment, just not with her? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 07:20 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenIt's just sex. She wanted it, I wanted it. Where's the harm? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 07:15 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenWhy? She can't just provide pussy and expect a relationship to fall out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 07:12 PM
Q4Women: What Don't You Understand About MenBB has to dangle the commitment-carrot to get some. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/02/21 07:05 PM

Women will regret being promiscuous but Men won’t.Yes. For some reason some women (and tons of naive men as well tbf) tend to look past that. It should be at least a clue for future behaviours, but hey... People like what they like. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/21 05:16 PM
Women will regret being promiscuous but Men won’t.Both men and women tend to dislike a promiscuous past if it was part of a destructive pattern. Women, in general, will just have an easier time going down that path. For obvious reasons. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/21 05:02 PM

Is the Issue with Dating in the Modern World from Increase in Sexualisation of our Culture?I think most people who aren't successful in relationships have fundamental character flaws I think that's a very strange way of viewing people. Or I suppose that would depend on what you mean by fundamental character flaw. Would you characterize a disfigured face as a fundamental character flaw? I believe it's very possible for people to try repeatedly, be unlucky and give up. I would emphasize the unlucky part since so many of the things that would improve our chances at finding intimacy/love,… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/21 11:33 AM

Weekly Community Chat MegathreadI could see that happening. Maybe not in the near future but I imagine that there's been an increase in drug abuse and child abuse during lockdowns, recipe for terrible outcomes. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/21 10:54 PM

Modern women's demands for constant contact is a leading cause of relationships going staleI still think those experiences will fall under Disney idealism, moving forward. I think we'll see less of those 50 year long, happy marriages. I don't think that's something many people will aim for anymore. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/21 09:19 PM

I just think MGTOW or w/e will become more common because of changing incentives. It's less about men taking some noble stand and more about men simply adjusting to a new reality. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/21 08:44 PM |

CMV: Women want to get married primarily for the kids, men want to get married primarily to please the woman and keep herThat may be so, I don't know about those stats. Women could start demanding more of their partner, make sure that he knows what's expected of him or understand that career oriented men won't necessarily turn into excellent fathers once the child or born. Or these women could just decide not to have children. These are issues between partners and I don't know what can be done about that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/01/21 01:25 PM
Do men have pressure to have kids in their 30s or just women? The pressures for men just looks different and comes down to the traditional expectations of being able to provide/protect, to "man up". | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/01/21 12:26 PM
Q4All: Is all really fair in love and war? It's not only about dating. We're just less dependant on each other today. Niceness and prosocial behaviour in general dies as a result of that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/01/21 11:32 AM
What should be done to help men?No. But men would/will instead focus on other things that doesn't benefit society. And pussy, (if you insist on reducing women to just that) the expectation to make more money, getting a high status job to attract women, having children in the future... So "pussy" is for sure ONE of the things that motivate some men to work hard. I have pragmatic, achievable goals that I set for myself, some of which require hard work. But I'm not a fan of sisyphean tasks. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/01/21 12:30 AM
What should be done to help men?Men not being able to get sex/relationships will not be solved. It will lead to catastrophe for a lot of men on an individual level. And less productive men on a societal level, and more of these men will be reliant on welfare, health care services, and whatever else that will be on the rise because of this. The issues (which are symptoms) are framed as "men not being economically attractive" or "porn/video game addiction rising" or whatever substitutes young men choose these days. If the effort… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/01/21 07:10 PM
Q4W: Are you attracted to bad boys?A few of my friends that fall into your description of a bad boy aren't all that confident with great self-esteem and it can show when it's just the boys and a couple of beers. If stuff like that doesn't come at least somewhat naturally to you, it seems to be quite an exhausting image to emulate. Certainly not assholes, just playing a game that works for them. I wonder what the RP take would be on a guy like this that I've described. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/01/21 07:03 AM
Q4W: Are you attracted to bad boys?Yeah most of that stuff comes down to preconceived notions. Meth in therapeutic doses is quite indistinguishable from amphetamines. People tend to overestimate the danger of the big bad ones but also underestimate the ones that comes in a nice package from doctor. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/01/21 05:14 AM
Q4W: Are you attracted to bad boys?Coke and meth can be quite similar. Hallucinogens I'd put as way less destructive than alcohol and maybe even weed. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/01/21 05:06 AM

The heightism thing is so blown out of proportion. You can't get a solid girlfriend because most are already gone from the sexual market.I agree. But bars and clubs have the same problem although not to the same extent. I think a lot of young people but mostly guys lack a social context where relationships can form more organically so OLD has become the go-to place for them to amend that. It's just that OLD can be pretty useless for average dudes. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/01/21 12:35 PM

Q4ALL: Do men actually say the nice guy quote in real life?Rarely. But as an adult, I've only heard it from women being dumped by the (usually attractive high SMV) guys they're specifically chasing "Why can't I find a nice man?" Or something along those lines. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/01/21 12:19 PM
The heightism thing is so blown out of proportion. You can't get a solid girlfriend because most are already gone from the sexual market. When most women must have a tall partner, it becomes a problem. But for the most part it's not that they must have a tall guy but in todays environment just swiping only on Mr 6'+ (or w/e) works just fine because there are plenty of single men looking for women. It's something women have a problem with and it's rooted in insecurity more than lack of attraction. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/01/21 12:06 PM
| 1 | The heightism thing is so blown out of proportion. You can't get a solid girlfriend because most are already gone from the sexual market. These are different times, your parents and grandparents are irrelevant. OLD makes up a large part of how people meet these days, it's easy to put up arbitrary superficial preferences for single women because they're in demand.
