I'm a fairly good looking guy, I've had people rate my face as an 8 or 9 and I'm in decent shape although there's always room for improvement. Every job I've worked at, I've been one of the attractive guys women like to tease and flirt with.

Yet, when I jump online I get this: I get a few new matches every day. Occasionally I'll get messages first. Yet somewhere along the line I always get ghosted. I'm started to wonder if I'm socially inept like I just 'dont get' texting or whatever. I've had girls literally tell me how perfect I am, only to ghost me before meeting up. I've even made several plans with girls that end up falling through.

This, for me, supports a couple of hypothesis. That women have an extremely strong bias towards height (I'm only 5'7"), and the Pareto Principle. I live in LA. Where there's tons of wannabe stars, models, basketball players, etc. So I'm imagining maybe if I am a good looking guy there's just too much competition?

Does anyone else share this experience? The number and quality of my matches just baffles me when maybe only 2% of them even make it to the first date/meetup.
