I’m 40 and it Started happening to me at like 26 or so even before I was married. Had it at the beginning of my marriage and it went away after a while. Post marriage it was real bad and I got a hims subscription and got some off brand viagra from them and that helped a lot but I stopped it and ran out a few months ago and it started again with the woman I was seeing. Flash forward a couple of me and that lady ended things and now I’m with a new girl and I dunno it hasn’t been an issue yet. Ther…

We do Friday to Friday. I pick them up Friday afternoon and keep them until the following Friday when they go school. It’s convenient and you still get lots of time in with the kids.

Marriage is great and I miss it. There isn’t a key to finding the right person. Date around, when you find someone you think may be the one spend as much time as possible with them for a long time before marriage. Cohabitate for a couple of years before you marry. You’re gonna fight sometimes over pretty important shit other times because she hates the way you pop your knuckles and she’s in a bad mood it just set her off. Always reconcile, if your conflict averse get over that, get a therapist t…

Exactly. I’m broke as hell but manage to pack my kids days with as much fun stuff as I can. I can’t afford a beach vacation but there’s a nice spot in the creek to swim right downtown with tons of other kids to play with it’s just as fun as the beach to my kids. It never about how big you go for the kids but it’s what you do with them. The ex has a dual income with her live in boyfriend and they both make more than me but never take the kids anywhere to do fun stuff. They go out to eat and that’…

Every time I have my kids we’re swimming in the creek going to the park going to see movies trampoline parks renting a bounce house. It irks my ex that we have fun and she has work but I manage to do both and give my kids a great week every time. They’re 5&6 and im teaching them baseball and video games and we’re talking about all getting skateboards for Christmas and learning that. Im not trying to be the “fun” parent but it’s working out that way. I let them pick out their new clothes and pick…

I too got on welbutrin, it gave me energy and focus I needed and helped me out a lot. Again not every drug is right for every person but I really like being on it. Boosted my sex drive a bunch too, though could be an issue if you’re not having sex

There’s a phrase, trust but verify. It’s important to take the accusation seriously but also to do due diligence. Don’t be scared to date. Look for red flags. Get to know someone before you sleep with them and make sure you’re both sober the first time it happens.

So I went through the same thing with my ex. I’d get random phone calls of her crying saying how she’d destroyed our family and if there were a chance we could get back together. Eventually we tried to again and it was great until out of the blue she said she needed space and then ended up with the guy she cheated on me with again. Don’t do it. Harden your heart, don’t be an asshole but don’t let her get in your head. It’s hard I know. I’d be fine then she’d call with that crap and then I’d be m…

My ex does the same. She has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, I’m pretty sure she’s a narcissist, and she does it to this day still. It’s important to be the victim so people will feel bad for you

Unfortunately it is. Things could change you two could reconcile but all of that is unlikely. I kept holding out hope when my ex was doing something similar. The only difference was she didn’t move out and just dated the guy when I was at work. Lawyer up, that way you’ll have better information and know your options.

No clue about Florida bud, but talk to a lawyer. Some will do free consultations. Do that ASAP.

It’s rough man for sure. Best advice I can give you is after the first few weeks and you start getting used to them not being around, start doing something for yourself. Workout learn a new hobby something to occupy your time

Wow man thanks. I get them every weekend so there’s that at least. I know I’m very fortunate to at have that much time with them. We actually do have split 50/50 custody. I’m sorry you don’t have any man I know that sucks and I love you too bro keep your head up and do whatever you can to prove to them you’re there for them

Not so well most of the time. When she’s lonely she’s nice and we’re fine. When her boyfriend has decided he should come around she’s vindictive and spiteful

I’m not really happier no. I’m a year and a half in though. I miss my kids daily (5&4). Knowing that they are experiencing new things and I’m missing out on that and then is the worst thing I have ever felt. That being said, stick to your guns take some time to yourself and do not dare right now. I dated a girl seven months after I divorced. We dated for six months and honestly she was a great human being. She’s a midwife, was head over heels in love with me and even though I thought I was ready…

Yeah last year was hard during the holidays. We split Christmas but I worked thanksgiving. I actually had them on their birthdays last year, but I am missing them this year. We both started off trying to be amicable but as time has gone on she’s decided to be the opposite. I think that’s part of what’s bumming me out about it.

Yeah that’s what we do. I’m a child of divorce so I know the routine, but as a father it’s hard.

Mine does the same. We’ve been divorced for a year and a half. Every week she says she doesn’t want to leave, and every week she’s excited to get back to her mom’s. They’re little and can’t fully process what’s going and it sucks
