In some ways feminists ARE the conservatives depending on certain issues. If you ask them about certain issues that specific to men, a lot of their views and solutions reflect a right wing sentiment (increased policing/surveillance, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, man up)

Any content mildly sympathetic to men is “red pill”.

I’m concerned for the future (I honestly would have been concerned if Harris had won and I voted for her smh). At the same time, the crash outs from neo liberals have been pretty entertaining.

The only reason women historically “needed” men to provide for them is because of institutional sexism. Women were shut out from many high paying industries. They couldn’t have bank accounts until the 1970s.

40 percent of women out earn their partners. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-many-women-earn-more-than-their-husbands/#:~:text=In%2038%20percent%20of%20heterosexual,primary%20breadwinners%20in%20their%20families. “Hypergamy” is a sham. There is no evidence that women are biologically or naturally inclined to pursue men of higher status than themselves.

A lot of the talking points pertaining to dating are rooted in sexism (hypergamy, alpha fucks/beta bucks, stereotypes about women all being hyper emotional lacking in logic, that they avoid accountability (which is also just projection), the belief that women 35+ are undesirable). Many “advocates for men” are also on the more conservative side so they advocate for policies that would harm women such as restricting abortion access, and opposing family leave. I also think it’s very convenient to s…

“Is the manosphere misogynistic, or is this your personal interpretation of it rather than what others describe or what article you read from a google search?” The manosphere is misogynistic based on their beliefs about women that they spew daily. I support male spaces, as long as they don’t resort to sexist rhetoric and at least attempt to be introspective and have accountability.

Has the manosphere tried not being misogynistic?

I blame people being overworked, underpaid, and the decline of third places. There’s almost nowhere to go just to hang out.

Isn’t it the job of the individual to dictate “the bar” with regards to dating? In my opinion, saying the bar is low for men says as much about the things women are willing to tolerate from men they’re attracted to than it does about the quality/eligibility of men.

If you have to chose between having more dating success and being your authentic self, some will choose the former, some will choose the latter. Others get lucky and don’t have to make that decision.

“Why should men have a responsibility of educating other men though” Because we’re part of a community, we have to live in this world together, so we should help foster an environment where we don’t harm one another. “Should women have the responsibility of educating rabid misandric women?” Yes.

When women call for men to protect them, it doesn’t necessarily mean go out on the streets like vigilantes and beating rapists to a bloody pulp. I think they want us to teach other men how to handle rejection, and change our culture of aggression and violence so women become less likely to encounter those situations in the first place.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/09/23 02:19 PM

Even if they did teach guys that, so what? Almost all human interaction involves some degree of manipulation.

The housework discourse usually downplays the labor men do and exaggerates the labor women do. Mowing the lawn, taking out trash, shoveling snow, maintaining vehicles, roof work, fixing machinery, is usually not mentioned but is washing the dishes, cooking and laundry are made to be the women’s personal 9/11

What’s the feminist view on MGM? I’ve never heard them touch on the issue.

Feminists tend to have a very “trickle-down gender equality” mentality when it comes to men. They believe that if we solved women’s issues, many men’s issues would be solved by proxy.

I agree. You’re basically accepting the idea that masculinity is a disease that needs a cure.

Someone to hold me too close Someone to hurt me too deep Someone to sit in my chair, to ruin my sleep Someone to need me too much Someone to know me too well Someone to pull me up short, to put me through hell Someone you have to let in Someone whose feelings you share Someone who, like it or not Will want you to share a little, a lot Someone to crowd me with love Someone to force me to care Someone who’ll always come through Will always be there, as frightened as you Of being alive…..

Right, I’m just sticking to OP’s question. It’s interesting. Women say they don’t like when men use women for sex. But many of them wouldn’t have sex with a man who’s inexperienced with women in the bedroom. That man would need to have to go sleep with more women to gain experience, which would mean he would have to use some women for sex.

Should we place “value” on human beings in this way? Like do you think it’s good?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 06:36 PM

If you’re only experience is from sex representatives does that really make you “wanted” by other women? Those prostitutes are just doing their job

I struggle with the idea of essentially using a woman’s body simply to boost my own stats and confidence, especially because not to view women solely as sex objects.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 06:29 PM

That’s interesting. You would think the opposite would be the case. Normally people with a lot of partners have a lot of baggage

Genuine question: is sex really that difficult that you need years of experience to be good at it? It’s not like being a nuclear power plant operator or pilot lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 06:18 PM

Pretty much smh. The only way to gain experience is to either lie about your inexperience or find an escort. But I’m not sure how many women you’re dating would be happy that you just piped a bunch of whores before you got with her.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 06:13 PM

It’s like when you’re looking for a job and you’re told “we’re looking for someone with more experience”. Well, I want the job so I can gain experience lol
