I did regular things like got grass stains on pants and would have to stand in the corner for hours. Got paddled frequently for small infractions and used to get screamed at so bad the neighbors could hear down the street and I was in fairly rural area. Hit intbhe back of tru head a lot, made to do chores in the hot weather with no water and often not allowed to get food in the eveningsbao I was hungry a lot

yes. Mortgage debt is "good debt". your credit score goes up because a house is usually an appreciating asset and secure debt. CC debt has no asset behind it besides the stuff you bought that depreciates over time

he's also said that when a woman wanted to marry a guy who wanted aprenup because he was worth 20 million. Ramsey is an old boomer his tactics are good for Boomers and the financially stupid. His advice won't work for you fer people or people who know how to leverage assets and debt

I mean it's her choice. I've not gotten serious with women who had a lot of debt. I don't want to be responsible for buying everything and paying all the time. I agree if a guy said this he would be torn apart by feminists. but what is good for the goose is good for the gander. I'll dump someone or not marry them if I know they're in tons of debt.

they will always put their kids first and you have baby daddy drama. That's never a good look. In a marriage without kids the spouses are usually put first. If you want to be second place at best date single mothers. Most times you're lower after the kid, the dog, the kids father etc...

this is why we j ed to come up with. fair standard and make that law. If your backwoods religion or cult decide to have your own divorce/marriage ceremonies thats fine, it's just not valid here. I like the way the Swiss do things. The law is the law and your religious or whatever law doesn't apply

/r/MensRights15/05/26 02:34 PM

the hospital does it not the government. If the case in the court wants to verify paternity they can just get a note from the hospital that says it does/doesn't match. They're not sending your generic DNA to the state for them to have one. record. That's hyperbole

I was one of the men who did get a decent amount of sex from dating apps. I was divorced and not ready for a relationship and I was having sex all the time. It did nothing for my mental health and some of the women who I did start to date ended up cheating on me so it was hard to find a person who was worth my time and energy. There was one time I matched, she went on a date then came to my house after some other poor idiot paid for her to go to dinner. I wondered how many times did that happen …

Because if you cheat its your fault. If they cheat it's your fault. either way it's a win-win for them. You cheat, they divorce you take half you shit and you're a cheating loser. They cheat, they divorce you, take have your shit and you're just a loser who couldn't satisfy his wife or never paid her any attention. What do they have to lose?

I saw a comment on a TikTok post recently about equality and some guy said if you want equality then the draft should be forced on women too. Women said uh it is in Ukraine. No it's not, they fucked off to Western Europe and we're getting knocked by by guys there as their boyfriends, husbands, fathers and brothers were off dying in trenches. I've often said women don't care about your problems. They don't, I've been saying that for years and even in this subreddit. This article proves what I've been saying for at least three or four years here. That's why it's best to not engage them with stuff like this as they don't care usually and now it's such a burden they write articles saying such. Women have it easy, they always have a support network. Meh don't have shit. If you're in a long term relationship or marriage it's best to figur…

That's an interesting take and I agree. It seems like the "emotional labor" of being a supportive partner to your husband or boyfriend is bad, but when men don't talk about their feelings they're being distant or emotionally unavailable. Talk about your feelings you're a burden. As you note this article blames the fact men don't go to other men but where are we to go when there are no spaces? But if this is the case and women are tired of having to do the "emotional labor" it's time for me to st…

Which is why they lost men in the last election. Their desperate attempt to have men come back was very weak and most men saw through the facade. Liberals/left won't get men back until they start talking about mens issues as well as labor/working class issues. They've abandoned the working class male and went all in on feminism and transgender BS. They lost the bigger population of men and some women who just want fair pay, a good job and provide for their families.

I was having this discussion with someone earlier. Men aren't going to want to risk their lives and well-being for a society that has disdain for them. And even if society doesn't, what do they have to show for it? High inflation? Can't buy a house and barely afford to live? Shitty dating prospects? Ability to have kids and start a family is rarely an option and if you do you deal with high divorce rates? Can you blame men for opting out of military service and even society as a whole?
/r/MensRights28/08/25 03:33 PM

Hey they don't want "that" kind of equality. They just want the kind of equality that says they should be in air conditioned offices and get the same benefits as men do for men building and protecting society, they don't want to have to actually risk or work for it

Meh…I was in a relationship with someone and had a 17 year age gap and she was really cool. I liked her a lot . I was 45 and she was 27/28. I would have dated her longer but I messed that one up. She was amazing . We got along well and she was educated and good looking. The amount of angry females was funny as if this 27 year old woman didn’t have the brains to make her own decisions. So I’m going to say something about this as this happened to me more or less. I was drunk, woke up to her on top of me and with me in her mouth. No one cares about men or men’s issues. Look at what happens when you bring up that men are falling behind or that they are suffering with mental health. They literally get laughed at. I dated someone for two years and the moment I hit the low point and got depressed I was dropped and ghosted. Like she blocked me and never called back . It's important. Is it obtainable? Not as easily. Is it worth the risk? No. With current divorce laws and the amount of women with high body counts it's not worth it. Thing is, without family, kids and purpose men are less likely to want to work hard, contribute to society (that hates them) and "man up". There is no incentive for men to "men up" when they are in society that hates them, degrades them constantly and have one political party that constantly rambles on about toxic masculinity. Try d…

No. It’s just the way it is. Marriage isn’t a good thing for men. There’s a 50% chance of failure and the odds are stacked against you when the woman decides it’s over. Or if you decide it’s over…doesn’t matter. Either way it’s a losing prospect. The only way you avoid this is to not get married and if you do you have a 50% chance the marriage will stay together

Yes. And so do many others I know. The courts don’t care about the fact you split custody. They see it as “best interest of the child”. So long story short they think the child should have equal living standards in both houses or whatever so if the father makes more (which they usually do) he has to pony up the cash to pay for his child when said child is with the mother. Now if the mother gets remarried and lives in a nice house or whatever and the father is still struggling to make support pay…

As long as no fault divorce is the norm there’s two options for men. Opt out of marriage - the safe choice Prenups - safe but can be overturned or the woman will guilt you into not signing. Honestly at this stage it isn’t worth it . Women make as much as men, they own more houses, are doing better at the job market and most are all vying to date the top 1-2% of guys . This is true. If a fat greasy guy said the things from 50 shades of grey he’d be a pervert and a creep. Take a chiseled, rich man with a good jawline and career all of a sudden he’s “mysterious”. So the way to go from creepy to “daddy” is to raise your own value by elevating your status. That’s either by getting really fit - which works wonders and even if you’re broke you’ll still get attention. Get super rich, but then you see you’re a wallet and not a person. It would benefit the child, it’s a tax benefit for the payer and the child, it can be used for expenses like school, activities, food….etc. tracking would be kind of difficult but at least charges can be tracked and if something is erroneous it can be audited. I think CS should be put into an account that is like an HSA where it’s pretax and it has the ability to grow. A card is given for the custodial parent to use for approved costs - clothes, school textbooks/fees, medical costs, food and other things. Is that perfect? No but it’s way better. What isn’t used has the ability to grow like and HSA does and the money goes to the child at 18 or they can keep it in there and withdraw it later if they want and let it grow.

Why would a guy get married? I’ve been married, it was a disaster and I was taken to the cleaners and lost my house, access to my kids, accrued massive amounts of debt and suffered emotionally. Anyone who has military related PTSD and is scarred will tell you this isn’t a game, it’s real life with real consequences. I used to be super patriotic, not anymore. These people don’t have your best interests at heart, remember that when the beat the war drums and start shouting about your solemn duty to uphold “freedom” in some distant part of the world where they don’t like us anyways.

So this is just a thing to knock you down a peg. Don’t take too much value in what they’re saying. Ask them this: If a fire were burning down a building and you have to take an elevator down because the stairs were in fire see you getting in the elevator with a bear or a man? If they choose the bear box if death then you know they’re lying pieces of shit and don’t need to worry about what they say. I've known, but it's overtaken by Pride Month and to be honest most people I know (women) don't care about men's mental health. They either blame men, the patriarchy (which they cant even define) or say guys should man up. Keep in mind some of these women are divorced and raking in cash from CS and alimony or they're single. Just do what you have to do to stay healthy and find guys who want to talk to you about it, you won't get sympathy or empathy from anyone else really.

So...I feel you and I have been there. I suffered some bad depression. Not outward, all of it inward. My ex-wife divorced me and was careless and apathetic to me. Then I dated someone for two years. She just ghosted me. The time where if roles were reversed I would have been there and done whatever I could to make things better for her. That's the reality, no one cares. It's hard. I got a dog and I often feel if all things considered he's the only one at the end of the day who is loyal and will …

Not the same. I'd rather share my feelings to a dog too, but the bear maims and kills and the woman is saying women are all dangerous. The other is about sharing feelings. The posted example by the Black woman is better.

Strong educated men will resist. When they’re more ignorant, weak and less educated they’re easier to control. Also men have just stopped. They stopped caring because society calls them toxic, broke, dangerous or expendable. Society has told men they’re not needed. No. They tend to have feminist views when it benefits them but when it comes to paying for dates they won’t or don’t want to. Ironically the woman I dated who was 17 years young we wasn’t a self identified feminist and she bought dinner for both of us on a few occasions . I’ve said it before multiple times here on Reddit and elsewhere. If you’re a guy no one cares. NO ONE. You’re in your own do NOT look for sympathy from someone you’re dating to married to. There isn’t support for men’s issues. There are a couple of grifters in social media and like two women who actually give a crap. I can confirm. As a person who went through the family courts it's terrible. I always share my view on that. I think young men should sit in family court for one day before deciding to get married. In a lot of cases the government makes money off of your CS so it encourages them to hit you with the highest possible amount as possible. Top that off by the fact 80% of divorces are initiated by women (90% of college educated) there is too much risk. If you're a man who has built his empire and work…

Oof I'm sorry. I recently had a conversation with a very feminist family member who used to argue men should have to pursue and pay for all the dates. From what I see - as a guy in my 40s - is a shift. Men my age have been through divorce court, been financially and emotionally run through the ringer and have given up. They don’t want to make the same mistake twice. They’ll have sex to scratch and itch but don’t want to deal with a marriage. Women’s eh same age are single mothers who are consistently putting the same thing on dating apps (no hookups or FWBs) claiming they want a king term relationship. You’re right, neither the courts nor your ex-wide will have any empathy for you. What I have found is the following - and it’s a reason I tell young men why you shouldn’t marry nor have kids: 1. You’re automatically assumed you’re a deadbeat and a bad guy. 2. Cost if everything shoots up, do NOT be surprised if your ex goes back to ask for an increase! As a divorced guy, you need to lawyer up. She’s using your kid as a tool to control you. It’s very typical. My advice is as follows: 1. Lawyer up 2. Document, document, document. Because as JP had put it, it’s not really about men and some fake patriarchal cabal pushing women down and scheming against women. 99% of men are also discriminated against, held back or never get to be in power. Long story short those in power - men and women - benefit from the system running the way it is. There is no need for them to change the status quo for them and it’s working.

Look at my post from what happened to me! I didn’t even touch anyone and ended up getting bashed in a FB group. I’m done dating. Thing is I feel I have a lot to offer. And I was looking for a real partner and friend. I own my place, disease and drug free, dog, beautiful kid and get along with my ex-wife pretty well, interesting hobbies and passions, I cook, go to the gym and stay fit. I’ve been driven away from the dating world altogether. I’ve decided it’s me, my kid, my dog now that’s it. I’m …

Everything I’ve been told by feminists is that women are just as capable as men are, so they should be drafted, and sent to the front lines as well. Agree here. If you have a job, decent place (which means you keep it clean), work out and dress reasonably well you can get women in the late 30s-40s age bracket. It’s not hard. I’ve been married, have had children and now live alone (minus when it’s my custody time). It gets lonely but I also don’t have someone breathing down my neck and laying onto me. Good for you. 59% of marriages fail so there is a 1 in 2 chance it will fail for most. 80% chance she’ll want the divorce and you probably won’t see it coming. So the stats don’t say every married couple will divorce, just lay least half of them will. Men are risk averse when it comes to losing their livelihoods . This is the only answer. As the OP - I also paid out the ass and still do . It’s put a huge dent in savings and I work hard to bring it back up. Got two pay raises last year so that helps. Long story short - every man should go to divorce court. Custody and property cases and sit there for a day or two. Then think if this is where you want to end up. My mom was always busy and was a decent caretaker for three kids and took care of all transport to activities and home stuff. Pets, kids, housework chores, medical appointments etc. I see no problem with it. If it’s not your thing don’t look for a traditional woman. But usually because the divorce lawyers hammer down the man with so much it doesn’t get to court because the men don’t have the means to defend themselves or pay for lawyers. I’m most cases men pay for lawyers for themselves and their ex. It’s a business transaction and nothing more. You’re essentially merging two asset management entities but one has to put most of their assets at risk to be stripped away from them if the other party decides the merger isn’t working for them. Oh and it doesn’t matter if the other person decides to have a merger with someone else while in a merger with you, your assets still get stripped and any assets acquired after merger are also lost. You’re right. And when the game decides to change the rules and cheats do you still play? Nope… Opt out of the BS and do your thing. Trust me as someone who spent 70k in a divorce . Imagine would I could have done with that! I tell young men all the time to avoid playing a game that’s stacked against you. You’re literally gambling your money and emotional capital away.

There’s a whole Carrie Underwood song about how her bf cheats and she destroys his truck. If a guy would do that he’s he in jail not glorified- and rightfully so. I’ve had friends who have had jilted ex-gfs slash tires, break windows and vandalize their vehicles including intentionally driving it into a post. Not surprised . Go through the family court system- you’re guilty by virtue of the fact you’re a man there. No trial or evidence needed. You’re just guilty. There’s no reason for marriage - none. As a guy you get the raw deal every time. She overall seems nice and good natured. She might hook a divorced guy looking for a company, although most divorce males I know have kids and she doesn’t. So she’ll have to deal with being a second class citizen in a relationship. It’s hard to see what she’s looking for, but chances are she’s looking for a 6’5 rich athlete or something like that. Thing is no guy who is a type A and active is going to go for a woman like that.

I had a friend who was married and she grabbed his leg and tried to drag him out of the bed. He a shaking his leg to get her off and she called the police and said he kicked her. No bruise, no red marks nothing. He said all he did was shake his leg to get her off from trying to physically drag him. Police didn’t care that she was the one trying to pull him out of the bed and he was arrested. It was brought up in custody court and the police report was used by her attorneys to rip his kids away. …

That’s the truth - they don’t. There isn’t anyone to call and there isn’t anyone that can help. I’ve been through this. You’re lucky if they spend two months working with you. Mine used to martyr herself. Like I volunteered to put our kid to bed it take them to daycare she’s always say…no I’ll do it. It’s out of the way for you/you have to work later tonight. Then when custody battles came up guess what she did? “He never took our kid to day care! I would also add the courts are very unfair to black men. I mean the family courts. So where I’m living I went to coparenting classes - which is usually required. What I also did was go to classes about being a present father and other things on why you should be a dad ( it was somewhat of “it’s important for a father to have a role in their kids life as it is the mothers” but it was a lot of “you should love paying child support and just shut up about it and don’t argue for more custody”). When you have no viable argument resort to ad hominem attacks. I find the term incel interesting frankly. So to women the measure of a mans value is based off of whether he can have sex with women when he wants. If that’s the case there are very few who are wildly successful- and usually have lots of women after them and have a choice. Tiger Woods for example. So is someone like Tiger - rich, successful and sleeping with women whenever he wants the opposite of an incel because of this? This make…

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen13/09/21 10:02 AM

Women have shown their worth. Well these ones have anyways. A lot of men aren’t stupid. They realize they can invest very little time and energy and still get what they want and move on. With the dating pool what it is there is no need to invest emotional and financial capital in a relationship let alone marriage. The stats speak for themselves. Marriages fail over half the time, 70-80% of divorces are initiated by women and infidelity rates among women are at least half. Why invest in that?

Exactly- so why opt in on a deal like that? I already did once and it destroyed me financially and emotionally. Most women I’ve dated post-divorce have not been relationship material let alone anything long term where I’m looking to invest my financial and emotional capital. No thanks, I’ll stick to raising my kid, doing my passions and hitting the gym.

This will hurt marriages - which may or may nit be the goal. 95% of women marry “up” - which means they marry men with higher education or make more money than them. With stats like this women will find themselves either nit marrying, complaining where all the good men are or setting more realistic expectations. That being said, the country will suffer as a whole as it’s obvious men have decided to opt out of the societal norms we once had. Men go to school, get a good job and are respected/look…

I agree with this. When you’re dating now just assume there’s at least two to three other guys in the picture and many more orbiters. I always assume this is the case and I’m usually right. I once was going on several dates this one woman and sure as shit my friend matched her like three or four weeks after me and set up a date. I wasn’t even mad at her as this was just expected behavior

Wow! These are usually demands made by 10/10 which she isn’t. And even so I don’t know one successful man with any self respect who’d put up with that from a solid California 10 let alone this lady.

All it takes for some is to see their parents go through a divorce and how guys get shafted. Divorce rates are very high, so a good chance a lot of these guys have seen it or were directly affected as kids in divorce. Why would any guy sign up for a contract that sees half their assets gone and having their kids ripped away? Guys aren’t childless, they’ve seen the end result of most marriages and don’t want part of it. As someone who has gone through with it I don’t blame them

Marriage has at best a 50/50 chance of making it. Would you fly on a plane that has a 50% chance of crashing? Invest in a business that has a 50% chance of failure? Probably not, that's literally the risk you're taking with marriage except when you're done you're 10 of thousands poorer (millions for the rich people), have your kids taken away and left emotionally and financially broke. That's the end result of at least half of men.

I'm sorry you went through/are going through this. I am a father and have tried to commit suicide twice. This is where I realized society and people at large do NOT care about you if you're a father or male going through this. I am still going through a custody battle to see my kid more and try to fight despite the mother's best efforts to minimize my time and role. Seeing the effect it has o…

I’ve been there, twice. And what did my depression and suicide attempts get me? My wife divorced me, the moment I needed help she shut off, after years of me being there through her stuff. I may have not been as supportive because I didn’t know what to say or do, but never left because of it. I struggled and she shut off and decided her job was more important. This is when I realized as a guy, there’s little to no help for you if you struggle. People don’t care, they really don’t.

I was like you. BP AF and it wasn't until I was married I switched. What really turned me was the divorce, family courts and dating post-divorce. You really see how true the RP is when you are trying to date divorced single mothers or women in their 30's who focused on careers who now want a family but honestly they've passed their prime. My advice, learn this early, listen to Rich Cooper and others, hit the gym and stay fit. There’s a lot of overthinking in this thread. This response is the best. I let women be themselves and take note of the shit that falls out of their mouths. Act accordingly, if they’re respectful and nice they’re treated as such. Act like needy girl I’ll ghost, I have a kid don’t need to raise another one. I too have gone through this - spent 65k and going back to court again. All I wanted? 50/50. Nothing more, nothing less. I’ve been involved with my kids life and the mother absolutely refuses to grant me 50/50. The system is very corrupt and as a man they don’t care about you. I know fathers living with their parents as they have no money left. They work two jobs and are still broke - like me. It’s not a fair world for fathers. No one cares for us.

How many have you talked to in your time on this earth will ever take some responsibility for a failed relationship? None will. Men in the other hand will. Find a rugby club, best sack full of hooligans I ever met besides my military friends. Get on a good squad that travels a bit and something you can dedicate your mind to. No woman is worth giving up your rifles for, let alone giving up your entire life. Harry gets what he fucking deserves when she divorces him and he’s left penniless and broke. I’m sure hi family will accept him and love him again as a family should but he’s an idiot. He’s not only lost his entire life he’s moved to a state where if she comes for divorce he’s screwed as the man and he’ll never see his kids again. What a fucking idiot

That they actually care about you. They don’t. If you’re facing an issue or a problem you’re on your own. Don’t every go or ask then for help, ever. Toughest thing I had realize is no one is here to help you through the tough times, you have to go at it by yourself and alone. By and large women are the same. They’ll manipulate and try to bed the truth to their narrative all the time.

Divorced and 42. I’m in shape, make good money and get a lot of attention. Getting married isn’t the best option for men this day in age. I have a kid I see less than half the time (going to fix that), I am financially ruined from divorce and still trying to recover and of course your sex life isn’t the same when married. It’s not worth it, just don’t do it. As for dating younger, I would agree it’s a fun thing to do but remember when you’re at that 35 and up range they’re looking at settling do…

You’re correct. I won’t get married again fuck that noise, but I have friends that are . Separate accounts and their wife’s take home more a lot more often than not. Why? They pay over half their income in CS and never see it. I had a friend to has daughters that spent most of the time with him. They were college aged or high school age and spend most weeks with him. Do NOT meet with her alone under any circumstances and always have open door meetings with her. Do not converse with her and insist any correspondence should always be in writing . This is terrible advice, the worst I've seen on this thread. Don't sell your house, if it's property that maintains good value keep it. During the divorce force it to sell then. Work it out to take the money after the sale. If you're the sole income earner there is no reason to not get at least half. Save as much money as you can, start a "rats nest" and save money here and there and don't let her know you're doing it. You'll need it later if she decides to split. Never, ever ever move out of th…

Probably too late but...best advice i got was the following: Son...don't let your dick make a slave out of you. that's essentially what you did....sorry but it's fact. Now, she holds all the cards. What will happen in the court is you will lose the house, pay alimony, pay vast amounts in child support and most likely get your kids once every other weekend. She'll remarry and the alimony may go away but the child support will be there. I'd sue for 50/50 from the beginning but don't expect her to …

I agree with many of the opinions on here. I dated someone similar after the divorce and she kept her partners around as beta orbiters when I was with her. She got divorced and went on a rampage sleeping with 15 men in one year. That's too many for me. So with that being said I invested little emotional energy. Let me put it this way...she cheated on her then current partner with me so....I took it for what it was worth. Keep that in mind if that's how you met.

Women don't want to help you with your problems. They don't care. It's not a benefit to them so they are not interested in hearing your issues. If you have an issue or problem talk to a good friend or family member. Your girlfriend or wife do not have time for it. There is no advantage to marrying. Even as wages/salaries and job opportunities are even between the genders - the court system penalizes you for being the male. It seizes your child and assets and redistributes them to a woman who is more than capable of surviving on her own. In fact, educational trends show more women graduating college. To top it off your kids are ripped out of your arms. In this day in age - I wouldn't have my son get married or have kids. It's not worth it.

Why would you get married? Seriously! I mean I was and divorced now. Seriously. It worth it . After all the heartache and kids being taken away from you it’s awful. More to the point men are always financially ruined. Always. Even if they have a working spouse which was my case. You work your ass off and are an involved father and you get to come home to a wife who’s been getting dicked by someone else. Fuck that. Never again

I am in upper-middle-class white family. So wwas she. We are both college educated and have well-paying job. And the divorce rate is very high, I can point to at least half of my office that are divorced. I have a child and I’ve been present in my kids life entire time. Here is a post I read this morning..." Having a dark day today, why do we put ourselves through it?The statistics on divorce and separation speak for themselves.I wish I'd never met my wife. 16 years I will never get back, I have two beautiful children to show for it but every time I see them my heart breaks a bit more knowing I'll never be the dad they deserve..........Can't see any point in living most days. My advice - don’t get married and have kids. I’ll tell you what happens: 1. You invest time, emotional energy and financial capital in a relationship only to be torn down 2. You lose access to your kids regardless if you’ve been present in their lives. 3. You’re financially ruined. There is a divorce fathers private FB group and I can’t tell you how many posts I see every week of guys looking to end their lives because of the emotional distress, financially broken and having their kids ripped aw…

This is par for the course. The don’t care. Don’t get married at all, there’s no reason to do so. I am divorced and found the court system is not in your favor. They aren’t and while at court appointed mediation I actually had a fair mediator and she was neutral and even took my side I’d say 90% of the time my ex wife got mad because she was entitled to have my kid. That’s what she thought, it was her kid and she was “giving me” time. And while the mediator didn’t like her tone and agreed with m…

One of the articles posted as men are less than 2.3% of elementary teachers. Surely we'll see people supporting a cause to get more male teachers in. Programs in place where the schools need to only accept male applicants. Programs designed to get men in the field and so fourth.

They don’t care that’s why. Why is the men’s suicide rate so high? Especially divorced males? No one cares. A few might but it’s nit an issue anyone will really take a look at because men are expendable. We’re judged by what we can provide and the amount of status we can obtain. That’s it. They get rewarded financially and by their social circles who encourage them to go out and be whores. Meanwhile you're left confused, hurt and wondering why you were dumped. Honestly, I still go out and sleep with women. What I've learned is most are whores. You can get them in …

This is the only appropriate response. Tell her not only is it critical it’s expected. When you get married the expectations are you’re going to have sex. Why else would you get married. And if you’re going to have sex with the same person why shouldn’t it be good and plentiful? Making fun of men's appearances is acceptable. Just the same as those ladies from NBC groping the Olympic athletes from Tonga. No one bats an eye on this - but if you criticize female appearance you're fat shaming or a misogynist. Wait...so women are misogynist? They don't want their man taking a female dominated job because it makes them less manly? Isn't that toxic masculinity or something like that?

That's assuming men are looking at the women and thinking of sex. I look at women...sometimes it's because they're pretty, sometimes it's because they're wearing something that caught my eye and wonder if my wife would like it, sometimes I might think I now them, sometimes they're ugly and you can't stop looking at ugly for some reason... There is a multitude of reasons and to think that every time a man looks at you they're thinking about sex shows you think to highly of yourself and you're so …

People get a pass if they're injured too before they deploy. There's lots of other issues to complain about, women getting pregnant and not being able to deploy isn't one of them. They're ok medical profile at that point

Except you can't prove it was done intentionally, let alone you can't punish someone for something that isn't a punishable offense. People get knocked off of deployments for medical profile too. Broken ankle, back injuries, dental issue. Some are injuries inflicted doing risky activities like rock climbing. None of those are punished as AWOL, so pregnancy isn't either.

Yes, but starting a family isn't against the UCMJ, going AWOL is.

Not really. That's not how it works.

This is a real issue, and like me, it sometimes doesn't hit until years later. The military can mess you up mentally, and I have a groups of friends that includes myself that all suffer from mental issues brought about from our time in the military. We deal with it best we can, some are better at it than others. If you're like me and you have these issues on top of an abusive childhood, it can really mess with you.

There is no rule about getting pregnant. Sorry, that's the way it is. You have basic rights and they can't tell you not to have sex, especially if you're married.

Sometimes they're are, motor conveys are attacked, medics see causalities, they treat wounded military personnel, they're in places like Kabul or Iraq and can't walk around base without an escort (the locals that work on base rape them, it happens more than you think), they serve as helicopter and airplane pilots, flight surgeons and medical staff. You don't have to be on the front lines to experience PTSD. Seeing the death and destruction can do it as well.

Former military here, they can't. The military can't stop you from getting pregnant and starting a family. That's the way it is

As a depression and PTSD sufferer, this struggle is real. I've been in hospitalization for this, and it's unreal the leaps you have to take to get any real care as a guy. I had all female therapists in the program and they were open to the issues guys face. So there is hope. The issue is no one listens until it's too late. Luckily for me I was caught just in time before that final trigger pull....

She destroyed her husband's life as well. It doesn't matter, when he divorced her - and he will - he will be mocked. Couldn't satisfy your wife she had to go to a 14 year old huh? That's what he'll hear. Even if no one said it out loud they'll think it. What an embarrassment, I feel for the husband and kids. For the young boy all people will see is his mom is a whore.

OMG...I'm so enraged! This video is disturbing, nothing makes me angrier than seeing a poor defenseless kid being hit like this. I was abused by my mother like this and it's had its lasting affects. I have a daughter and would never do this. My mother didn't let me see my dad either, and made up lies about him and I hated him until I found out the truth. It was hard. I would hope a media outlet picks this up and airs it. In this case the courts and mother should be publicly shamed.

I think I read somewhere this time of year is when a lot of suicides happen for males because they're spending the holidays alone while their ex-wife and kids are together.

Check your diet. I'm a weightlifter and there's guys in your weight class pulling 105 kg snatches and 140-150 kg C&Js in the masters divisions. A lot are on very good diets as they have to maintain weight for their weight class plus try to gain strength. My recommendation - RP diet. It's the best and most balanced diet with a good backing of people who designed it. There's the less strict ETP as well. I've used RP to great success to drop a weight class and gain strength. It's up to you. Also si…

Once a day is a lot man. You shouldn't be taking second string to anyone ever. If she wants you to play back quarterback to Jimbo's starting position and you're cool with that you're selling yourself short and have no one to blame when she does lay does the facts..that's she's fucking Jimbo. Even the mere mention means she's thinking about him a lot more than you think, and she's also thinking how much she'd like to be at said place with Jim...and guess what? That doesn't include you in the scen…

She is certainly cucking her current boyfriend and is seeking validation because she initiated with you and you didn't respond. Just keep doing what you're doing and if you're happy with your current sexual situation then don't change it. I think the other thing she probably notes is you're sleeping with other women, so she is well aware of your SMV - and her current boyfriend apparently doesn't. She's just looking for a better deal in the long run.

Which seems unfair as she benefits greatly. But the law is the law and it makes sense he's not responsible for your kids I suppose. But marrying someone with a kid you should realize what you're getting into.

Child Support is involved. If his is a normal situation then more than likely he is paying a heap of CS to her. If he gets full custody, not only will she lose that CS but she will have to pay some herself. Money is a big motivator. I've known more than one instance of women essentially living with someone but not getting married as they lose some CS/alimony. A former co-worker of mine went to court to lower payments since she was shacking up with some guy. Judge said nope...not until she's marr…

http://time.com/2921491/hope-solo-women-violence/ And a study published in American Society of Criminology finds that men account for nearly 80% of all violent offenders reported in crime surveys, despite a substantial narrowing of the gap since the 1970s. But, whatever explains the higher levels of male violence—biology, culture or both—the indisputable fact is that it’s directed primarily at other males: in 2010, men were the victims in almost four out of five homicides and almost two-thirds o…

But as a guy you deal with it and move on - or you get have to take a cold shower because when she says no, it's no. Thing is, I find it actually entertaining when you turn down a woman for sex - for whatever reason - they seem to get real annoyed. There's been days I'm just so tired. I just want to sleep so I say no. I deal with an angry woman the next day. Don't get me wrong, I have a high libido, but multiple days with lack of sleep and job stress add up. Some days I just need to sleep for ei…

That's the thing. The justice system there doesn't think of the kid. This three year old has to see her dad look like that now because her thug of a mother and her fuck buddy broke in and tried to kill her dad, and it's going to affect her.

I'm glad it worked out for you, I've seen what happens when it doesn't. It's devastating. One guy - former military- had his German ex-wife run back to Germany with his son. Military couldn't help him

That was painful to watch. I feel so sorry for him and his kids. Things is, I know guys who have had their kids ripped away from them like this. It's really depressing and messed up, and you're looking at them wishing you could help but can't do anything. I hope he keeps up the good fight. I know one instance where the father was successful and has sole custody except for a few weeks in the summer. Being single and raising a daughter who is in her teens now has to be one of the hardest things to…

I find most people in their 30's will come with baggage - be it male or female. The issue becomes with your points 5 and 6. I'm reminded of that famous craigslist rebuttal. As you age into your 30's and 40's and you maintain your health and job status, you're at a better position. Your value will never decline as long as you remain on a straight path (ie don't do drugs, don't make bad financial decisions, don't commit crime). Your potential to earn more and remain stable goes up. For most women,…
