Don't have a good answer for this as I am very similar. When I have the right amount to drink I lower my inhibitions and lose my nerves and have fierce game at night. Good start. Assuming you hang out on thursday, just play it cool and wait to ask her out on a second date until afterwards. Try and initiate some kino/touch with her on the date and read her body language from there. Look man, I'm not gonna sit here and say that being short doesn't limit your dating pool somewhat but don't settle or lower your standards. That won't make you happy. I lift weights but I'm a distance runner for my uni's track team. Does size/bulk make a big difference? I'm guessing it does and because I run a lot of miles I'm pretty skinny. I'm toned/cut, have a 6 pack etc. but I'm 6'2" 1/2 165lbs. Would I do significantly better if I weighed around 190ish and put on mostly muscle?

maybe some girls but I doubt the vast majority of guys do this and even if they do, self doubt will creep into her head most likely. Maybe just have a genuine conversation with the less attractive one and eventually the more attractive one will probably jump in at some point.

I'm a d1 collegiate distance runner, so I've run by more than my fair share of attractive women, especially on and around campus and I've never stopped. I've thought about it but never actually stopped and approached another person running or walking. Just say that she caught your eye and so you had to pause your workout to talk to her or something.
