i'm trying to articulate what it is that rubs me the wrong way about this video and it's along this line... It's just so superficial content farming, and it almost seems like its more about you just practicing creating zoomer content with all the necessary cliches. There's nothing authentic about the video, it's just content.

yea this lol, met a girl last year, still together and got married, I've been very happy vs when i was single. Some people are just genuinely better off in a relationship.

OP, this is shitty advice. Do you and what kinda things you enjoy. Not everyone has the same idea of a good partner or type, or wants to live a certain way. Met a girl at a cheap dive and we're getting married next week. We don't make much but it's the best relationship I've ever had, and we're pretty happy overall.

Lying to get laid isn't good game, it's pretty weak. If you're gonna go that route just start telling girls you're a crypto millionaire.

I don't think most women care, but yeah if you're crying and going into deep emotional subjects within the first 3 meetings she's going to think you aren't really stable and will stay away. Doesn't have anything to do with masculinity.

Meh. I mean yes, generally good life advice to eat a balanced diet, hit the gym, live an active lifestyle, it'll do wonders for your mental health and confidence. However, I'd strongly advise against obsessing over your body image for the sake of getting laid. That will get you to a very unhealthy place mentally pretty quick. I've been a bigger dude most of my life. I did get slim in my mid 20s and held it down for a few years, yo-yo'd a bit (usually gain weight in relationships or when I'm stuc…

Depending on where you're at there's still a bunch of active telegram groups. As with everything else in the community, 80% unhinged weirdos, but I've met some cool dudes through them.

Solid. Either way, what are you gonna do about it? Give up and die alone? Do the best with what you got, look the best you can, dress well, hit the gym, get a good hair cut, be social and live a decent life. Do those things and almost any guy is at least a 7.

Yes. Work on yourself but keep trying anyway. At the very least you'll be building social/flirting skills

1) don't buy girls drinks unless you're really hitting it off and vibing. Bribing her with a drink isn't a good opener and she'll probably just bounce when it comes if she's not into you 2) if your parents are cool with it, it's not a big deal to just bring her home. If she notices or asks who you stay with just say you moved back home to help out your parents. Alternatively, most of the time girls have just pulled me to their place. Very much an option to just go to the girls place if she's coo…

First suggestion would be to open your mind a bit re education. I've attended a great law school, went to the best UG in the state, and many of the people there were the dumbest fucking people I've ever encountered. I've also worked a lot jobs in the service industry and met some of the realest most intelligent women there. You'll prob have a better time if you focus more on meeting cool chill girls with awesome personalities over pedigree and social status

This. Honestly just say whatever, when in doubt 'hey youre super cute, I'm antman567184'. If they're into it, talk back to you, flirt, smile, etc then keep talking to them, joke around, see if they wanna dance etc. Don't get glued onto one girl though, especially if it's still early just bounce around a bit and talk to people, be social. Most girls aren't gonna be trying to go home with a dude the first couple hours of the night. Get leads and build up momentum. After midnight start hitting up a…

You're not going to pick up a girl by just banter I'm struggling to even picture how that would work. Physical chemistry and flirting go hand in hand and just being all of one without the other is probably going to come off creepy.

If you really love her and wanna stay with her, gotta game her all over again and spark the passion back up. Took relationship psych and the biggest factor in slowing the inevitable decline of passion in a relationship is novelty. Make it a mission to escape your couple routines you've gotten entrenched in. Take her to fun new places she hasn't been in a while. Go ride a roller coaster or go rock climbing. Explore an abandoned building. Check out a new restaurant y'all have never been or heard o…

Similar spot here, had a ltr and when I came out of it everything was different and harder lol. The environment now, especially since COVID, is very very very online dominated for dating. Which still sucks because it's more of a sausage fest than ever. My irl game has varied a lot based on the location. Been sucking shit in Florida. I moved to Nyc though and was a kid in a candy store and felt like 2016 all over again, numbers and random make outs every night out, hook ups here n there. If feasi…

Nah f that. Several of the hottest girls I've been with I met while they were working at the mall. There are just some guidelines I'd recommend to not make it weird.... If it's a cashier just go up and be direct right away when she has downtime. If you do some pretend customer shit you'll probably piss her off when you switch to 'oh actually wanna go out sometime' and you'll waste money. If it's a service worker you're hitting it off with, tip first, do not hold the tip hostage to how she reacts…

Idk if that's a new thing with the internet though. I'm sure it's helped exasperate it though. I remember in HS 2007ish when internet was obv around but not like this, it was pretty much just myspace and online dating was still super taboo, there was this clique of the ugliest girls who were still mean as shit and super picky yet still managed to at the very least get attractive dudes to bang em. Pretty much just relied on trying to trap the hot dudes who banged them into relationships.

Or night game lol. Met all my GFs through night game. Makes no sense, I'm pretty low energy and often called quiet but Ive had a lot of phases I crushed it at night game, yet continuously suck shit at day game. I'm pretty direct though and hate small talk though, so I think being fairly direct plays out better in night game

That or they eventually give up because it seems futile. Studies have shown around 97% of people who lose >5 lbs gain it back (and typically more) within 3-5 years. So we can either believe 97% of people are just weak minded lazy assholes or we can accept that there are more systemic issues with our overall diets, lifestyles, and genetics in consortium making it overwhelmingly difficult to lose weight and keep it off in the long run.

Been using the same line for about 15 years lol. Same line got me all my GFs. super basic and simple: 'hey I thought you're super cute and wanted to say hi' Adjust slightly for the environment. Daytime environment, the mall, bookstore, coffee shop, etc I go for a slightly more subdued maybe even shy tone, 'hey super random but I just thought you were cute and wanted to say hi, would be kicking myself if I didnt'. Nighttime/club/high energy environment can be a more bold variation, 'damn you're h…

There was one girl I saw out in the crowd on a busy Friday night who really caught my eye and was fine as hell, hit her with my standard 'hey you're super cute blah blah', introduced ourselves, tried to get the date/number, she said maybe if she sees me again while out, I said I don't believe in leaving it to fate, she gave me her number and went on a date with me lol. She brought up during the date what won her over was saying I don't believe in fate

Not about always having stuff to say, that shouldn't be a huge worry especially in a group setting. have fun by being adventurous, curious, and enthusiastic. Bunch of people lined up for a food truck outside the bar? 'oh shit they must have good food we gotta go check it out' ... Any kind of activity in the bar? Do that. Make it fun make a light bet with them. If things start getting a little stale or quiet see if they wanna hop to a new venue. Ideally know cool venues in the area you wanna show…

I don't really feel the urge very much though anymore. I've gotten too picky, but when I get to know a girl if she's semi cool and interesting I'll get attracted even if the initial it factor in her looks was missing. Why I kinda like and benefit from gamifying it w bit and forcing myself to just approach.

Stop worrying about the friend zone lol. Make a move. Does she like it/reciprocate? Yes -> proceed. No -> are you able to put any attraction and hopes of a romantic/sexual future aside and enjoy her friendship? Yes -> be friends, female friends are dope. No -> let her go and move on Basically the way to handle any situation you're worrying about 'the friend zone'

If you're an introverted beginner I'd highly suggest against any system. It's like if you've never played baseball and are in fact terrified of baseballs but you're trying to find the best advanced system for specific pitches. You're skipping ahead. Step one is just go start talking to girls. It's gonna suck and you'll be bad, at first. Start small. Build charisma; go get a coffee and ask the cashier what's going on in their day. Take an interest in people. Chat up your Uber drivers and learn th…

There's a sample bias in the two different groups. People on dating apps are actively looking to date. So yeah once you match it makes sense they'll be more willing to go on dates. Girls out in 'the wild' though could be in one of a million different predicaments. She could have a bf but gave a number to be polite and not hurt your feelings or out of fear you'd go psycho if she said no. Could be hung up on an ex. She could be seeing several guys and her dating capacity is just maxed out she does…

No need to be holier than thou about it, if it's not your thing don't do it. But far from abnormal behavior for a bar or party. You empty out other fluids in the bathroom, just cuz there's two of ya doesn't make it all that different. It's not his future wife, it's a fun party hookup.

tbf i feel like no one is having a good time dating. We've let a for-profit online dating monopoly (the Match Group, which owns Match, Tinder, POF, Hinge, OkCupid, blackpeoplemeet, I think even the fucking farmers only site) be the arbiter of our dating lives, and their financial interest isnt in helping people connect and partner up, its in keeping you addicted to the apps and the little dopamine hit you get when you get a new match in a seemingly endless sea. It just makes the whole process bo…

Yeah I love St Pete, moreso than Tampa even but just named Tampa out of simplicity. Be sure to hit up downtown Orlando also if you do make the move. If you're in your 20s Gainesville is also a lot of fun. Miami is just overhyped and too full of itself, good eye candy but that's about it

You can give compliments but you have to follow it up. If all you get out is 'you look cute' 99.999999% of girls will just say something along the lines of 'thanks.......' and walk away. "You're pretty cute and I had to come meet you, what ya got going on today?" is at least a conversation starter and lets her know your intention off the bat. Nothing wrong with starting with it IMO, worked plenty and it gives the girl an easy out if she's not interested since you're making your intention clear; …

If you've actually been into the community for more than 10 minutes it's very common knowledge and stated frequently. 'seduction' is a misnomer because yeah this isn't about convincing that one girl you like to like you, that's dumb teenager brain thinking. The community has, at every opportunity, harped on how to be more attractive generally, how to better socialize and interact with everyone in an attractive way, and how to give fewer shits and go for what you want. If you're taking lessons th…

women are just confusing. some of it even comes down to where you are. I was in Tampa and having shit luck all year with girls, came up to NYC and get looks constantly on the street and I've been on a pretty hot streak with pulls and makeouts. on the flip side, I'm an average, very much not ripped guy. More dad bod. I do well IRL but pretty shit results with online. Obv yes, get ripped if you can and truly love the gym or are willing to make the dedicated effort. It's not the end all be all though, and it's possible to have a good time just going out and making out with and dating randoms from bars even if you're an average looking dude but confident and funny.

Went above and beyond and consulted with my female best friend lol, so two for one here. You have to actually make the move 99% of the time, most women aren't going to just explicitly say hey I'm into you. It doesn't really sound like youre making moves, just rejecting yourself before you try.
/r/seduction09/11/21 01:16 AM

pic - yes, thats why I said it's def not your looks. So you're only gaming your social circle, that's not really 'game', and a very, very small sample size. The whole point of game/seduction/cold approach/whatever you want to call it is to empower you to go talk to girls you like when you see them and do it in a healthy and attractive way without solely relying on your friend group, which is severely limits any options you have. Yeah it's not your looks. Do you actually go out and actively talk to women, approach women you like, and flirt with them? Or when you try are we talking more just asking out friends in your friend group and maybe a half assed approach at a bar once in a blue moon?

I highly doubt you're so ugly that no girl has ever found you attractive. Moreso sounds like your self esteem is in the gutter and you THINK no girl has been attracted to you or shown you signs. If you keep telling yourself that you're ugly/unattractive then confirmation bias is gonna do it's thing and you'll only notice when girls reject you, turn away, etc and you'll completely ignore or miss it when a girl does give you eyes or flirt, or smile, or if you see it I'm gonna guess you don't let y…

It's happened at my hottest where girls would just directly approach me. Hasn't happened in a few years though. For most girls they'll still 'approach' you but in girl talk. Idk I disagree. Doesn't make sense to make step one 'having your life together'. What does that even mean? Financial success? self actualization? Being happy? If you make step one vague and unobtainable then you'll never give yourself permission to start. Relationships and connection are the key to having a solid life in my experience. Our relationships to others are what make us happy and fulfilled. Connections can easily get you whichever job you want within reason. If learning and practicing …

At bars yeah. I've done it. At least half say okay and do it lmao. One even walked me outside the bar though because she said she'd never made out with a random before and didn't want her friends to judge her. Record was like 6 or 7 makeouts at this beachside edm venue. That was a wild day. This group next to me was super shocked and asked me if I knew her and I was like nah we just met lmao. But yeah I wouldn't try that at the mall or something.

I never fucked with lines. Only line I bother with is my opener which has stayed the same for like 12 years...'hey I thought you were cute and wanted to say hi'. Is she about it and acts interested? Cool, proceed and have a convo and just ask if she wants to go on a date/makeout/whatever. If she seems weirded out or isn't about it or says she has a bf just say ah cool congrats and it was nice to meet you.

100% yes. It's like any other skill. The more you do it you'll become less anxious about it and more natural. Have fun with it. I find it helps to look for the story in every interaction. I think covid has made it even harder than it already was. People are more awkward now, more afraid of strangers after a year of isolation. I've been going through it too. Been cold approaching for about a decade, I've had great periods with frequent makeouts, dates, gfs all from cold approach. Had some rough periods. I don't think I've ever had it happen where she seemed to do it accidentally lol. Why I generally refuse to ever buy a girl drinks unless we're already vibing for a while or on a date. I made a recent exception because I befriended this hot taken girl while out and she was winging me and kept swearing to buy a girl drinks and it works. I tried it again against my instinct. Random girl said sure she wants tequila for her and her friend so I order. This girl chimes in and asks for don julio. Soon …

This. Follow the advice of terry crews and just enjoy going, learn to love the gym. Not everyone has to have the same obsession. I enjoy running so I run a ton. It gets me in a great mindset. I try to lift some as well and I totally fuck around and do what I feel like. I dont have any delusions I'll get jacked doing that, but it's what I like and will keep me going to the gym

Kinda disagree mate. I've dated some 8s when I was an insecure fatty just because I learned to still try at every opportunity, and eventually I'd still get yeses and was pretty shocked by them. There are girls attracted to every type, girls attracted to weird things. Yes, the more conventionally attractive you are the more success you will have. But if you aren't there yet, what're you gonna do, sit around jerking all day? Nah fuck that, still try AS you improve yourself, get those skills, get o…

Why's it matter though? Most pretty girls are probably going to be going on dates with other dudes. Talk to lots of girls, go on dates with girls so you don't get hung up over one girl and whether she's getting railed. If she gets exclusive with someone else it's fine, it's how the dating game goes. When there's a strong mutual attraction and compatibility she'll pick you to get exclusive with (if she's even in a place in her life to be in a relationship). Until then it doesn't matter, just enjo…

Counterpoint: I know of several doctors/dentists with good bodies who suck with girls. I've been to law school, worked good jobs, worked in restaurants, best period in my life was working in the restaurants. 'just chase money' is kinda naive. If you chase after it by say going to law or med school, or pick a mega grindy career with 12 hour days just because you think that's what's expected of you or it'll impress girls you're gonna have a bad time and miss out on a lot of life in the process. Not at all. I've met every girlfriend and the lion's share of my hookups through cold approach. It'll suck hard when you first start. You'll get rejected a lot. If you get good you'll still get rejected a lot. But the resilience you build to rejection is a valuable life skill (as in not letting rejections bring you down and you keep trying with other people, not trying with the same girl post rejection for the autists out there). Approaching and developing better social skills don't need to be mutually exclusive. If your only goal is to work on socializing and being flirty in general there is a sub for that, and that approach works for many. This is (or at least was) a community founded on the idea that you can talk to anyone, which includes cold approach. In some situations it will be unnatural. Sometimes it'll be scary, but the benefits have been amazing. There are situations where being sociable just aren't enough, ie…

Idk about this. Sure if it's someone sitting next to you in a bar or cafe, or a store worker then yes, it's more natural to get better at striking up convo, knowing how to flirt naturally, and develop charisma. But if you see a girl you really like who could be 'the one' walking down the street it's more 'unnatural and creepy' to run up and act like you just need directions from her in particular. In that scenario yeah just go up and approach and less creepy imo to be honest about what you're do…

Agree and disagree. I agree with the main point that you shouldn't try to memorize a bunch of tactics. During my best times with women I found it great to just get out there and try, work on myself a lot, and the 'tactics' would kind of happen naturally when you're vibing with girls. My pua friends who would get overly technical and memorize routines just came off super weird and cringe and I'd usually get embarrassed when we went out together. If you are serious - This is a toxic mindset and you need to abandon it immediately. Nothing wrong with sex obv, and if he made fun of you sorry, maybe he's just a dick and you shouldn't associate with him? Way too many generalizations in this thread. OP, you've barely done any approaches, aren't calibrated/warmed up, and can't expect jack from a single approach. It's great that you tried, but that's just a first step, not the end all be all. Some girls will want to go out and just have a girls night, some girls will want to fuck, some girls want a man, some girls are only gonna be there for 6'8 black dudes, some girls will be there for dudes like you. After like 6 attempts at the white collar world I've come to terms with that being a hard pass for me, current plan was to work on a cruise, do more traveling and get better stories, but that's on pause (COVID - but fingers crossed for the coming months). Haha yeah it's crazy how much of it comes down to pure evolutionary mechanisms. A kind of obscure fun one was that women do prefer some body odors more but only when they're ovulating iirc, and that all comes down to signals about our genetics and immune system since our BOs are manifestations of whatever bacteria we attract. At the end of the day we're just animals.

Also: the biggest perpetrators of slut shaming are other women (and there's empirical research to back it). The evolutionary explanation is women protecting their sexual market value. Historically, men are willing to offer food, protection, shelter whatever for sex but if some women are giving it away willy nilly then that decreases how valuable women putting out is and how much value they can earn from simply having sex.

That's always been my philosophy. If you trap a random girl in a long conversation about nothing she doesn't even have a polite way out and you're just trapping her unless she's clearly enjoying it a lot. If you're direct you give her a quick out by saying she has a bf or whatever if she's not interested but if she is interested she'll choose to hang and have a convo

Approach more. 8 in 9 months is not even trying. That's the equivalent of walking on a treadmill for 10 minutes once a week then saying you need to reevaluate treadmill technique because you aren't happy with your results. Shoot to start doing at least one approach a day every day.

Same, I suck at online dating but do well in night game. If possible just move. It's not just a UK problem, it's more of a dating app era problem. I'm in the US and have done the nightlife in most East coast cities. NYC and Orlando have a handful of hookup bars but aside from that it's 95% girls just out with a group to chill and most bounce by 1130 to crash or get with their fwb. Meeting guys at a bar or club is risky, why do that when you can prescreen from a distance on tinder, stay with your group and just invite your vetted dudes to come hang with your group?

I'd argue for removing the water part of the list. No research to support the old saying of 8 glasses a day (which is half a gallon....the original quote about 8 glasses even stated we get most from food). It varies by city and bar scene but trust me there is a fairly large variety. Yeah some elements you described are common and you'll always have to deal with (guys standing around trying to look hard, girls constantly getting pulled away like it's a rape in progress), but I think college bars are in particular hard for meeting new people. Everyone is hyper socially conscious and (if you live in most of the US) very concerned with Greek life and that whole heirarchy. I've had some good nights in …

Man idk I've been doing day game way longer but I'm so much better at night game. Day game is kinda boring, girls are taken aback sometimes in a good way sometimes bad, can't insta make out or anything, way higher percent have boyfriends than girls at the club.... Your night at the club sounds much better than most day game.

Just tell her to stop shit testing you. Seriously though I would just explain that you're interested in the self development aspects and that the sub isnt some handbook of techniques or lines (which is true if you're doing it right).

I've been in the community a while and met all different types. There have been plenty with gaping insecurities, and guys who are a little strange, and I've also met some genuinely cool ass dudes who are very focused on self improvement and would like to be more social and better with girls. Even after years I still think a lot of the lingo and guys who get overly technical is pretty strange and probably counterproductive. What I think this community is great for: (1) meeting like minded dudes w…

I love tall Amazon girls. Decent sized frame but proportional. I'm a big dude with banana hands so it's nice when it actually fits with the girl and doesn't feel like I'm escorting a small child

Just read all the top posts on this sub. This whole sub generally promotes positivity, taking action, and self improvement. The tldr of this sub: work out, dress well, live a cool life and do shit that interests you, approach as many girls as possible and be transparent about what you want.

Just saw the ad and thought the same thing lol. Look honestly it’s a blurry line at times and there are some people who think all forms of approaching a stranger are bad or harassing. You can’t control what others think and that unfortunately comes with the territory of approaching. Just focus on what you can control. Keep being a good dude. If a girl seems uncomfortable know when to back off. Make sure you do what you can to come off non threatening and non ‘cat cally’ (the difference with cat …

What's crazy (and one of the things that got me into cold approach when I first learned about the study) is there was a study on gender differences where a Confederate would ask people on campus of the opposite gender either to have dinner tonight, come to their place, or come stay the night (I think that was the wording, whatever it was was strongly indicative of sex). For the latter questions it flatlined with women to near 0, but asking to have dinner was like 60%. I was amazed it was that hi…

Back when I was a server I'd get numbers on the receipt every now and then. Even if I wasn't interested id just take the compliment and do nothing. So yeah posting the whole number unedited on social media is pretty malignant attention whoring, I couldn't imagine even thinking to do that. That said I also wouldn't just pass a number without at least some flirting first and an indication of interest. But whatever, bullet dodged.

As a dude who's had a handful of gay guys approach me even that is awkward to deal with once in a while, and I know it must be exhausting to constantly have to deal with that. The only thing creepier than a guy getting better with girls is a guy who doesnt get better with girls. Theres different manifestations of being bad with girls; catcallers are high in confidence but low in skill (or just extremely lazy, dont value women, etc). Not trying at all and creeping on your social circle is another…

I just keep it simple. Hey I thought you were cute and I wanted to meet you. Sometimes her eyes will light up and you're golden, sometimes she'll throw up a bitch face in which case I just walk away, sometimes it's in the middle and you have to chat a bit after that to guage her interest vs shyness. It doesn't have to be a science just talk to girls

I've been using that line for about 10 years now and results have skyrocketed the last 5 years as I got more confident, knew what I was doing, could joke around better after the open, got more used to bars and clubs and worked on my physical appearance a lot. The line is fine. Yeah if you're just spamming it at the mall 90% of the girls are gonna give you a wtf look. Some won't and will be down for dates, but best of all at bars it really doesn't matter wtf you open with, just come at them with …

The claw stuff is kinda weird for me and I haven't done it, but I've been doing this for a while and my most fun and memorable nights have been when I followed their advice pretty strictly (state hunting, talking to everyone to get to that place, 'spam approaching'). I've had more chill nights, even chill nights where I hooked up or met a girl who'd become a gf whatever, but as far as fun and good stories spam/getting hype/looking for that high energy social state has been the best way to get th…

I just check snapchat after the fact. 98% of hot girls at bars have one, and if they give you a legit # it'll show up when you go to add someone from contacts (usually with a username similar to their real name). Pretty roundabout way but eh at least it gives me an idea of how many legit numbers I got at the end of the night.

Similar experience here. I'm 29 now (and glad to hear you're killing it at 30, starting to get self-conscious about age), went to a huge public undergrad (that year it was #1 ranked party school) and fucked maybe one chick the whole time. After undergrad went on a drought for years, lived in NYC for 2 years and couldn't get laid. I got horribly depressed, ruined my career and everything because of how depressed I was. Finally lost a shit ton of weight and started going out to bars/clubs regularl…

My advice is to reevaluate and open up to bars. I used to hate the bar scene, would day game, get a date every now and then but it mostly sucked. I started giving bars a shot even though they terrified me and had my ideas that the women there aren't relationship types, etc. I finally started having fun and bars have been way more efficient. My last two long term relationships have been with women from bars, I get way more numbers, kisses, etc in a MUCH shorter period of time from bars, more date…
