There is woke corporate nonsense on there but that is easily ignored. Thanks for your feedback.

I'm late to the party but will give it a shot and see what happens.

Are you writing messages back and forth or just adding names? I don't do facebook.
/r/MGTOW229/03/21 02:03 AM

What do you do to keep up with it?
/r/MGTOW229/03/21 12:51 AM

I have thought about moving to a big city from a small town but probably not a good idea, eh?
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 11:17 PM
1

I went through that phase. It lasted a long time. You eventually outgrow it.
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 10:17 PM
3

Actually I do. I don't get out much tho esp with this pandemic. I live in a small town and most people I meet or come across are not "professionals". If you've worked with someone and know they are a good worker, you're better off hiring that person and teaching them the job rather than take a chance on someone you know nothing about. That definitely makes sense.
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 10:16 PM
1

Everyone thinks you owe them something, right?
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 10:12 PM
2

Networking seems so contrived though. I can understand keeping in touch with people you've worked well with, but otherwise it feels like using other people that one would not otherwise be in contact with.
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 09:42 PM
2

Interesting comment. Some people say it's a necessity. How do you get your offers? They say networking is the way to get jobs but tbh every job I've gotten was from a newspaper ad or online job add.

Same here. Thanks for the information.
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 06:13 PM

Would you say IT would be one of those fields?
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 06:01 PM

That sounds like a good way to go. Thank you for the ideas.
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 05:43 PM
2

Ok that makes sense! I stay away from Facebook and Twitter and try to avoid Google when I can. I do feel weird about posting resume for all to see but privacy settings can restrict that, right?
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 05:34 PM
2

I really don't like the idea but it seems like a necessary evil in this day and age. What do you mean by a separate e-mail? I have an e-mail that I only use for resumes/job searches. So I could maybe use that one.
/r/MGTOW228/03/21 05:20 PM

I have resisted the urge to sign up so far. Have thought about it again but you're right. I just can't get into the social media thing.

Ok so you max what the employer contributes but not the max the government allows. What do you do with it instead, invest in a taxable account? I prefer the option to use my money before retirement age without 10% penalty. Also it's difficult to know what the tax rates will be after retirement.

Tomassi especially, is the kind of guy many will support and on the surface he seems interested in helping and I can't wrap my finger around what it exactly is with him, but he gives me fraudulent vibes. He kinda reminds me of Steve Bannon.

You make a lot of good points. Good point about retirement. I'd like to transition to self employment eventually. And yeah, forget about keeping up with the Joneses. my guess is most of the high paying white collar jobs that cities have to offer will mainly be remote work going forward “going to the office” will almost certainly become a thing of the past... I hope you're right! Prior to the pandemic, there was the open office trend.

Remote jobs are not all that easy to come by. They may be easier to find, due to the pandemic, but many ads say "temporarily remote". Not sure that the remote thing is here to stay.

To me living in a city with high costs of living, to work in a high stress higher paid job to only give that extra $$ to rent or mortgage is dumb. I figure I could possibly make 30k more per year in the nearest big city. Most of not all of that would be eaten up by increased housing costs and taxes. Unless you’re young and love going out, socializing, going to concerts or shows the city has zero appeal to me. Especially now with lockdowns and the like. So prices are going through the roof in the…

I do about 1900 calories. Perhaps that is too low, maintenance is about 2300 for me tho.

Similar diet here but nowhere near the results. You must have a high metabolism!
/r/MGTOW215/01/21 05:24 PM

Ok so 400 * 7 = 2800 That's roughly 3/4 pound of fat lost per week since one pound = approx 3500 calories Christmas was three weeks ago, that comes to 2.25 pounds Given that you didn't workout much, how did you lose the other 7.75 pounds? :)

I've pretty much given up on bulking and cutting. Can't seem to drop fat without losing just as much muscle. Can't seem to gain muscle without gaining just as much fat. That's with working out consistently and eating right. I'll do a slight increase over maintenance or decrease under maintenance and that's it.

Awesome. Sounds like a "fast" slow cooker. Even stuff like cornish hens? It's sometimes a pain in the ass to thaw meat and plan/coordinate cooking. I have had instances where I might thaw something and then something comes up and I can't eat what I thaw, or else I forget to put something out and not prepared. I have been thinking about a rice cooker too, but figure if I go that route, might as well get something like the instant pot with so much more functionality, as long as the rice is good. T…

Thanks for the info. My small rice steamer is made by Aroma. Does it have a non-stick coating or is it completely stainless steel? I've read some stuff that said non-stick coating is not all that healthy but perhaps that's too paranoid. I have been thinking about getting a cast iron pan. Anything new it takes up space so I have to be careful what I buy.

Awesome! .you can do a lot of things with a crockpot Definitely. I do have one and only pull it out when I use it. My issue is that my work days are significantly longer than most recipes so I can really only use it on the weekend. Thinking about a rice steamer.

Main reason I was thinking about the pizza oven is during the hot summer months, but summers are short and I usually cook late anyway so it's not really too much of an issue.

/r/MGTOW211/09/20 04:19 PM

The thing is is he hates the area and likes where she's at a lot more. He's talking about selling his real estate and moving in with her (which means helping pay her mortgage-I'm sure her kids would like that). I visit but everything has to involve her. Difficult to get time with him without her being involved now. He encouraged her to kick her friends to the curb, her family doesn't visit much, so now it's like he feels obligated to be around her all the time. So you mentioned the gf's children…

One can be raised with the familial and societal expectation of always allowing behavior from family that would be unacceptable from anyone else. Examples are: prying into personal business, including medical issues, religious / faith issues, having the expectation of “borrowing” money (ha!) or vehicles, digging into your marital relationship (if married), or having pressure brought to bear to house relations that refuse to be self-sufficient. The last would include parent(s) that have refused t…

I am never worried about coming across as rude, if I refuse to answer a rude, personal question. The people who consider me “rude” are largely people who have left my personal life. Fine with me. With the general public, I don't really care. With co-workers and relatives, I try to be more diplomatic but that's just me. Perhaps I should be less so. People will walk all over you if you let them. On the professional side, or if you somehow don’t want to appear “rude”, I’m pretty good at deflecting …

This is more of a detached community. It's a duplex situation so there is only one neighbor you're sharing walls with. Walls are supposed to be soundproofed, but yeah, I do like the idea of blasting my home theater when watching my favorite movie. Even if that is a nice/quiet neighbor, people move, and that can change. The one plus about this place is the back is actually private/wooded. If one were to live in a townhouse, this would be the ideal one. With that being said, you make a very good c…

This particular condo is a duplex/townhouse type of thing so it's more like in between an apartment and house. I have heard of horror stories about condo associations tho. I haven't been to a restaurant since Covid started and didn't really go out much before that tbh. The condo would be slightly closer to work than the house (35 instead of 40 minutes), 8 miles closer which doesn't seem a lot but it adds up. At a recent gathering, sister-in-law asked what time I started work and then what time I got off. I guess she was taking notes, comparing me with others, and telling others what I told her. Basically this virus is like hitting the pause button on half of the economy for a few months. Then you hit the play button again and there isn't much reason that people can't go right back to what they were doing. If this is going to be how they (over)react through the whole pandemic it could get very bad. It will take months, if not a year or more for it to spread in the "flattening the curve" fashion they suggest. Imagine what it does to the market in the meantime, if it's gone down this much already.
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 06:15 AM
1

How do you know when it's done tanking? Wait until it goes up some and the volatility goes away? It could be 18k, 15k, 12, or even lower!
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 06:13 AM
1

How will you know when it bottoms out?
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 06:12 AM
1

Would you invest in oil stock at this time? I put a little in oil stock in 2015 and it went down 80% since then! And it seemed like a low price back then.
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 06:09 AM
1

Please elaborate!
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 02:37 AM
1

For example, go the Harry Browne Permanent Portfolio route (25% each - stocks, bonds, gold, and cash)
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 02:35 AM
1

And the market continues to drop!
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 02:32 AM
1

The tricky part is knowing when the bottom hits.
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 02:30 AM
1

Yes lol, that or Sanford and Son
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 02:19 AM
1

That works until he gets older . Then what?
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 02:16 AM
1

Obviously they don't go sending out letters they way they do for weddings LOL, that's what I figured you meant by using the word "invitations".
/r/MGTOW217/03/20 01:52 AM
1

I've never heard of anyone sending invitations. They usually post a notice in the newspaper.
/r/MGTOW210/03/20 04:35 AM
1

Damn! The weather on Southern CA is awesome from what I hear, but apparently there is a price to pay.
/r/MGTOW208/03/20 03:48 AM
2

Funny you mention the car in the shop thing. Went to take my car in today, they said they couldn't get to it for awhile and asked if I could leave it. I didn't have time to spend half my day there though so I just moved on. Hate asking others for favors like that.
/r/MGTOW208/03/20 03:45 AM
1

Invite to a funeral? Never heard of that lol.
/r/MGTOW208/03/20 03:41 AM
1

True!
/r/MGTOW207/03/20 05:47 PM
2

I wouldn't mind the heat (in fact would love to get away from snow/cold) but couldn't hang with poisonous snakes and spiders. If you can tho, sounds like a great plan.
/r/MGTOW207/03/20 05:13 AM
1

I can definitely see why you'd want to move there. I couldn't do the rural thing in a warm state though because of those very reasons. I'm in a catch 22....I prefer rural but hate cold weather, go figure.
/r/MGTOW207/03/20 04:49 AM
2

You won't be alone, there will be plenty of poisonous snakes and spiders too!
/r/MGTOW207/03/20 04:39 AM
5

It's an internet thing. I doubt most people have heard of it.
/r/MGTOW206/03/20 06:45 AM
11

They might try to keep you from getting there!
/r/MGTOW206/03/20 06:44 AM
2

Damn..... need to retire by then!
/r/MGTOW205/03/20 05:25 AM
0

I hated that class in high school, heh.
/r/MGTOW201/03/20 06:04 PM
1

What's up with these stupid internet insults? I never hear people use these terms out loud IRL.
/r/MGTOW228/02/20 06:59 PM
6

So basically they want something from you when they are nice.
/r/MGTOW227/02/20 06:06 PM
2

Yeah what's up with that? I get this at work. When it's really stressful and busy and you don't want to be bothered, people do what they can to get in your face. Weird.
/r/MGTOW227/02/20 06:03 PM
1

The question is: Is it really worth it? Very good question!
/r/MGTOW227/02/20 06:00 PM
1

not entirely practical for a single guy. Right. I like dogs but right, not too practical.
/r/MGTOW225/02/20 06:02 AM
3

I can see talking about it online but not announcing it IRL.
/r/MGTOW224/02/20 06:05 PM
1

if I travel I need somebody to feed pets kennel
/r/MGTOW224/02/20 06:01 PM
7

Why even mention it? Why do people feel the need to label themselves and label others with Internet terms? Most people have never heard of either label.
/r/MGTOW224/02/20 05:58 PM
1

Yeah, especially if they are controlling and/or narcissists that need attention.
/r/MGTOW224/02/20 04:22 PM
1

If you want to live your live peacefully, you may not want to become a landlord. :)
/r/MGTOW224/02/20 04:18 PM
1

even your family members?
/r/MGTOW224/02/20 05:49 AM
1

What people?
/r/MGTOW219/02/20 06:44 AM
1

why not?
/r/MGTOW213/02/20 05:27 PM
3

LOL You made him mad!
/r/MGTOW213/02/20 05:23 PM
0

Won't be people think you're weird? :) j/k
/r/MGTOW213/02/20 05:19 PM
1

Yeah really. Posting here at that age? Geez.
/r/MGTOW213/02/20 06:15 AM
1

Nope
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 05:54 PM
1

I could do it maybe six hours after waking up, but not three days. I'd be starving to death and have no energy. Whatever works for ya tho, everyone is different.
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 04:23 PM
0

Mine is.
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 04:23 PM
1

So their amazing life stories were lies? Or they had amazing life stories and some of them were lies? These are all women that didn't know each other and had absolutely no reason to lie but they did anyway- not just a lie but an extremely well thought out past life that probably took some time to make up. But don't you ever lie....only they are allowed to!
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 06:47 AM
1

Ever heard of something called hobbies or interests?
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 05:52 AM
0

Completely? Nah. Nothing wrong with one cheat meal or cheat day per week.
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 05:49 AM
1

How do you have any sort of energy when you do that?
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 05:46 AM
2

Fun to eat? When I think fun, I think chocolate chip cookies or the like. Of course that's a rare treat and not eaten every day.
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 05:46 AM
1

Wow, great post. You'd think that at least one of them would stand out.
/r/MGTOW212/02/20 05:31 AM
1

ok, thanks for clarification. I delivered pizzas in high school. That was a fun job. Sometimes I think about going back.
/r/MGTOW210/02/20 06:24 AM
4

Is this a troll post? This is the second Dominoes thread in like days or so.
/r/MGTOW209/02/20 04:46 AM
1

At least you had that type of run in your youth, many did not. Do I need to stop sleeping around and commit? Or just go your own way. You are here for a reason, right?
/r/MGTOW208/02/20 05:42 PM
1

Yet the politicians keep talking about unifying the country.
/r/MGTOW208/02/20 07:16 AM
1

I walked through a flea market once wearing the hat. A couple of young dudes had compliments. Other than that, there were a few smiles and smirks but that was about it. This was in northern MN tho. The results would probably be different in an urban area.
/r/MGTOW208/02/20 07:16 AM
6

Paragraphs please
/r/MGTOW208/02/20 06:41 AM
1

Damn I use it when cooking anything in the oven to make cleanup easier. Seems like everything that is convenient is toxic. (i.e. microwave, cooking with saran wrap, etc)
/r/MGTOW31/01/20 05:34 AM
1

I guess that's why Leykis says not to give your name!
/r/MGTOW26/01/20 05:38 PM
2

Well said! Misery loves company.
/r/MGTOW26/01/20 05:24 PM
2

Lol it's usually the other way around.
/r/MGTOW26/01/20 05:22 AM
5

All of that costs lots of money and time. Unless one is wealthy or retired, that's not feasible except maybe a few weeks per year.
/r/MGTOW26/01/20 05:20 AM
9

Getting married is getting out of one's comfort zone, but hopefully you would not recommend that!
/r/MGTOW26/01/20 05:18 AM
1

WTF Is FDS? It's annoying when people post acronyms assuming everyone knows what they mean.
/r/MGTOW26/01/20 03:48 AM
5

So this is why those hags, Hillary and Elizabeth Warren, hate Sanders?
/r/MGTOW25/01/20 02:59 AM
2

Honestly I'm the wrong guy to ask. There were some good suggestions in your thread tho.
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 06:00 PM
2

There are tons of activities that you can get involved in to make friends or meet women. Wait until you're in your 30s or 40s!
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 06:16 AM
1

It's a lot more difficult to make friends after a certain age.
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 06:14 AM
4

Why even tell them?
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 06:01 AM
5

Stop telling people. Exactly. Why even talk about this stuff?
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 06:00 AM
1

Damn... only 19 and already talking like this?
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 05:56 AM
2

So why even bother telling them?
/r/MGTOW21/01/20 06:23 AM
3

Good points!
/r/MGTOW21/01/20 06:22 AM
2

Why even talk about your personal life at work?
/r/MGTOW21/01/20 06:21 AM
2

It's jealousy!
/r/MGTOW21/01/20 06:20 AM
1

Leykis has been talking about htis very thing. Good reason not to have ex gf's!
/r/MGTOW21/01/20 06:18 AM
1

You mean young adults on your commute? I don't see too many kids commuting lol. I don't know how many thousands of hours I've wasted on commutes over the years.
/r/MGTOW19/01/20 05:03 PM
1

Most people don't
/r/MGTOW19/01/20 12:40 AM
2

It's all about business contacts then, eh?
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 11:37 PM
4

It started in your 40s?
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 11:36 PM
1

Ok, thanks.
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 11:34 PM
1

Ah, ok. Thanks
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 11:33 PM
9

WTF is a foid? There are so many freakin internet terms and acronyms to keep track of these days.
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 07:24 PM
2

Again, well said, especially this: > Another issues is the jobs we work are mentally and lots of the time physically taxing. Of course the same lack of energy that makes one not want to play video games can also affect doing any kind of a side business. Difficult to transition from FTE without doing self employment on the side first, when one has bills to pay.
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 05:31 AM
2

Well said! Same thing here, I have several consoles but usually can't be bothered to power them on. A house is another time suck.
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 05:29 AM
1

What is a NEET? I wish people would not assume everyone knows every internet acronym.
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 05:21 AM
1

There are plenty of simps who are still dating and pursuing women.
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 05:18 AM
1

Any reason why you want to learn Japanese? Do you plan to live in Japan? I often hear people say they want to learn the language, but it seems like an awful lot of work for little pay off.
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 05:10 AM
1

I guess this is why Leykis recommends not giving out your name
/r/MGTOW18/01/20 04:49 AM
1

I've never heard anyone say that one should date a single mother or fat girl. They might try to fix you up with one but you can always say no. For now I dont have to deal with this because I am only 21 Ok then you're smart enough to avoid even discussing these topics.
/r/MGTOW17/01/20 06:39 AM
1

they will be willing to do anything like what?
/r/MGTOW17/01/20 02:57 AM
1

Amazing how much alike (and how lazy) they are!
/r/MGTOW17/01/20 01:57 AM
1

At first glance, without reading the text, I thought that was a boxing referee and professional boxer lol.
/r/MGTOW17/01/20 01:54 AM
3

LOL I know what you mean! It's enough of a PITA when your own relatives want cheap or free IT support let alone someone you're not even related to.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:13 PM
1

I would love to own one of these although there is probably very little money to be made, which might explain why there are so very few of them anymore. The chain gyms seem to have driven most of them out of business.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:09 PM
1

Yeah... unfortunately the big chain gyms took over.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:09 PM
3

It's more trouble than it's worth!
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:03 PM
4

Yeah what's up with that? Weird!
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:02 PM
1

Many people are negative and unpleasant. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:52 PM
1

Exactly! One is constantly having to walk on eggshells when around them.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:51 PM
2

I used to get this when in school.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:50 PM
3

Yes there is pressure to act like that, and then when you do, there are others that don't like it. Can't please everyone.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:50 PM
3

Good point. There are men like this as well.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:48 PM
2

Yeah it's all jealousy!
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:45 PM
5

> Another thing i hate is meeting fucking relatives, i hated my ex relative they where all boring assholes, know it all idiots and self centred fucks..... its been the same with all my ex, i am a lone wolf i love being alone, loneliness is my strength not my weakness. Yeah and then she tries to get you to do favors for her deadbeat relatives, for little or no compensation.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:44 PM
8

Be glad you're getting out without much collateral damage.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:21 PM
1

LOL
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:32 AM
2

I doubt that happened in a year. It likely took many years.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:31 AM
3

even now i struggle to keep about a 180lb. frame on a 6ft tall body. Wait until you get older!
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:30 AM
6

LOL
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:29 AM
5

she'll dump this guy for a richer more subservient beta lol
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:29 AM
1

Looked like Andre the Giant? LMAO This post is worthless without pics!
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:26 AM
1

Female trickery!
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:25 AM
5

No comments about the company she signed with? That company is getting way too big....
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 06:25 AM
2

Makes sense, thanks
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:32 AM
1

The US has paid vacation, amount depends on the company. It's rare to have 24 paid vacation days tho, unless that includes holidays.
/r/MGTOW13/01/20 05:32 AM
1

Should the boss's be CC'd when calling her out?
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 04:22 PM
1

If I don't help then the bosses will be made aware of that and I get in trouble.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 04:18 PM
1

So basically she thinks that she is more important than everyone else. Even the others in the group that she is in does not do that, unless something is a major issue and/or urgent.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 07:09 AM
1

most likely she's clogging up the bosses' already crammed inbox with minutia that they shouldn't concern themselves. Yep. I definitely don't need to be micromanaged. There are times that it takes time for me to reply (due to other things going on or scheduling conflicts or whatever) but her copying the bosses won't get it done faster unless they bother to step in (which they have not).
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 07:08 AM
1

Hard to see that happening but they do say that everything runs in cycles.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 06:58 AM
2

LOL. I remember for a time, when I was on those stupid dating sites, that "live laugh love" was a big trends. That was the tagline on tons of profiles lol.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 06:54 AM
1

Maybe so...but it seems to be more that way after a certain age.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 04:45 AM
5

I like it, thanks! And how about this: state the above but also add a short message to the superiors to let me know if they want to be further updated (or informed when resolved). I get the feeling they would not respond or care.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 03:11 AM
3

A) She's the "client" or "customer" in this instance, even though we are both employees, so that wouldn't work. B) That's a possibility but I don't know how well she'd take that, especially if done in front of others. It might cause some issues not knowing how this person would react. C) Maybe it's best to just continue going this route. The supervisors do have enough on their plate as it is.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 03:09 AM
6

It does. Thought about jumping ship but it seems like incompetence and ridiculousness like this is common. Need to figure out how to get self employed.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 03:07 AM
3

Interesting. Even President Putin is divorced. I guess Drago (and his son) getting dumped by his wife in Creed 2 is realistic!
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 02:05 AM
2

Geez. Things like this make me think that maybe it's not so bad not having much of a a social life lol.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 02:04 AM
2

I must admit I need to do a better job with this, especially at work.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 02:03 AM
1

You must not be in the US! I was counting 8 1/2 to 9 due to lunch being added.
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 02:01 AM
1

Yep, that is true!
/r/MGTOW12/01/20 02:00 AM
2

The whole weekend devoted to work stuff? Doesn't sound like too much fun but ymmv.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:45 AM
5

Blocked them on social media? Heh. I stay off that shit. That's one bad thing about social media if a guy does have a wife. Just think about how she has access to so many men from her past with the click of a few buttons.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:44 AM
2

Depends on the person. I couldn't sleep 7 hours let alone 8, even if I tried. I usually just wake up after 5 1/2 or 6 and cannot get back to sleep. Strangely the people that live on four that I know are energetic. One is pushing 90.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:43 AM
2

Yeah, not to mention they have to hold their piss all that time.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:41 AM
3

Secondary school (high school), college and university is an absolute shit show for stuff like this. The workplace can be too.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:41 AM
3

Lol I don't know about that, but it's unsanitary as fuck. Like I want my food prepared on or utensils sitting on a table that a cat walked on after digging around a littler box.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:40 AM
1

What do these people do in response?
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:35 AM
1

"Too busy" can help a lot, as well. Too busy doing what? I'm too busy to go into it.At work, myself and a few of my coworkers like to say "it's impossible to be a gentleman anymore," thanks to me too, etc. That could work with people who want to take advantage of your time as well.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:33 AM
3

You make some good points. Try to make everyone happy and you make nobody happy.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:32 AM
1

MGTOW is an internet term. You never hear it thrown around IRL, at least I haven't.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:30 AM
1

Never talk politics or religion? Why? If you're at work and you value your job, maybe not a good idea. Otherwise, sure, why not?
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:25 AM
1

If someone tries to hook me up I decline because I don't want my friends friends talking shit if we hook up but I don't commit. Funny how that works, right? You don't do what she wants you to do and you lose your friends after she talks shit about you.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:24 AM
1

LOL. You're the man!
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:23 AM
2

it’s ok to leave them there for 8 hours at a time. That's assuming they have no commute and don't have to stay at work 9-10+ hours.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:13 AM
3

Yeah, by letting them sleep in bed with them and feeding them ice cream and stuff like that.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:12 AM
3

What about the people that allow their cats to walk on the kitchen counters that they prepare food on?
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:10 AM
2

What's with this "dog mom" thing? LOL. Another stupid trend. I like dogs and all but geez. My sister-in-law is in this category (has a couple little happy dogs my brother has to help take care of) and says I NEED to get a dog. > it looks good on social media and they just want something to boss around. Lol yeah.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:08 AM
5

It's not only these types but the jealous ones who know you're single while they're unhappily married. Either way, you're right!
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:03 AM
2

how old are you?
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:02 AM
1

Why'd you delete your post? That was a good post!
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 04:01 AM
3

Now they're saying it should be 50% in management.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:58 AM
7

Me neither
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:53 AM
2

It's true. Some people average 5-6 per night. I know people who average 4 (that's very rare tho).
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:51 AM
1

40 hours devoted to work? Sounds like a good deal. Workplaces tend to require 8 1/2 or 9 hour plus per day, plus most people commute - many an hour or two per day.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:50 AM
3

Time > Money
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:48 AM
2

I was thinking the same thing. Five days a week shot because of work and commute, then another day or day and a half just to take care of chores, take care of house/car/etc. I don't even have the time for hobbies that I have let alone new hobbies or starting a side business.
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:48 AM
3

Damn.... was it like this when the Soviet Union was around?
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:47 AM
4

That's why I don't care to climb the ladder. Why take on all that extra responsibility and hassle for a slight pay raise?
/r/MGTOW11/01/20 03:43 AM
1

Where is that? Florida?

Ah so you use a gun. Makes sense! Thought you beat the snakes over the head with a stick or something lol. That must be kinda weird to have to be on guard all the time, not knowing you're going to run into one of these things.

Just a vacation, not planning to move there (at least not yet lol), but thanks for the suggestion. Will look into! Lots of pro wrestlers live there from what I've heard.

I'll check out Florida, thanks!
/r/MGTOW09/01/20 06:20 PM

The Hawaii thing sounds interesting but kinda far and I'm sure expensive. I have been thinking Florida and will look into San Diego. Also thought AZ and Vegas, but Vegas is a bit chilly in the winter from what I heard.
/r/MGTOW09/01/20 06:14 PM

That is actually a couple of the destinations I was thinking of. Vegas another one but I'm not a gambler and it's kinda chilly in the winter from what I hear.

Here's an example. A team might have mostly slackers and have a small percentage of strong performers, who are not paid much (if any) more than the slackers. The stronger performers are subsidizing the slackers. Make sense?

You're right, it does seem to be a very common phenomenon. Why is this so widespread and doesn't any of this nonsense affect these companys' profits? Maybe someone should start a website that gets all of this out in the open (like glassdoor but a woke level rating or something like that).
/r/MGTOW05/01/20 03:01 AM

Tom Leykis has been talking about the EXACT same thing on his podcast. Women that he merely dated decades ago have been coming out of the woodwork and playing these texting games to try and lure him in. It's like they think he owes them just because they were banging at some point in the past.
/r/MGTOW02/01/20 06:10 AM

Tom Leykis has been podcasting about this very subject. This one woman that he was with 20 years ago was sending him texts, texting him her sob story, and looking for money!

He might be learning something just by me practicing it.
/r/MGTOW31/12/19 07:04 AM
3

He seems open to learning and self improvement (fitness, making money, etc). Also name dropped a couple of podcasts that are not necessarily red pill/mgtow but have breached those subjects. I like that strategy. I really don't see him all that much so I wouldn't contact him out of the blue with this, but maybe drop some hints when we do see each other (assuming he doesn't do something stupid by then).
/r/MGTOW31/12/19 06:17 AM

That might be a bit much especially if his grandparents (who he still lives with) see it. Thought maybe Bachelor Pad Economics might be a bit less blunt/
/r/MGTOW31/12/19 06:15 AM

I have no idea if he is or not. But yeah, I agree that would be stupid!
/r/MGTOW31/12/19 05:26 AM

I never see him without her present.
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 05:44 PM

I don't know how much is left. She mentioned it about five years ago (30k). Maybe much of it was paid off, but I would guess not.
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 05:44 PM

I couldn't warn him, he would have probably said I'm jealous or something like that.
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 05:43 PM

I saw it coming from a mile away, but of course if I said anything, he wouldn't hear of it.
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 05:42 PM

No, he wants her to work. She likes to spend so she needs to work.
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 05:41 PM
1

LOL.... in a normal environment, she would have been made fun of, but nobody can say anything, right?
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 05:40 PM

That's fucked up!
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 05:39 PM

She's worked full time so far, but has complained about it.
/r/MGTOW30/12/19 07:18 AM

I hope it works out. I think her plan was to have kids a few years ago after losing her job at the time, I remember her saying that she was looking to do that but ended up going back to work instead. And I hate to say it but now she is post wall, 35ish.

/r/MGTOW28/12/19 06:05 PM

I know people who have gone that route....and they still ended up getting divorced.
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 05:33 PM

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson lived to be 90 There were many infants that did not make it, which drove down life expectancy.

/r/MGTOW28/12/19 05:07 PM

/r/MGTOW28/12/19 05:05 PM

/r/MGTOW28/12/19 05:03 PM

Never heard of Ed Sheeran, had to look him up. Will he stand the test of time and be playing in his 70s and 80s in sold out arenas? I guess only time will tell!
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 05:00 PM

Why even discuss your personal life with co-workers?
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 04:57 PM

The geeks in Silicon Valley really have people figured out, don't they?
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 04:56 PM

She wouldn't notice the money missing? BTW she can call 911 and/or tell people you beat her even if you did not.
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 04:29 PM
1

How many of today's artists will be touring and selling out arenas in their 70s and 80s?
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 04:25 PM
1

Nah. You can't honestly say with a straight face that the quality of music is the same now as it was in the 60s/70s/80s.
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 05:48 AM
1

Music and movies have gone downhill since the 80s.
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 03:34 AM

/r/MGTOW28/12/19 03:25 AM

And then what? Give them the keys to your house or a ring and it all changes. Or don't do that and hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 03:23 AM

Did they wash their hands before they eat or handle food?
/r/MGTOW28/12/19 02:57 AM

How old is he?
/r/MGTOW27/12/19 04:27 PM

Geez. Thought this was mainly a problem in the states. Didn't realize it's a worldwide epidemic.
/r/MGTOW27/12/19 04:26 PM
7

How can anyone take him seriously when he doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're"?
/r/MGTOW27/12/19 04:24 PM
2

And then they get jealous as fuck of guys like the OP.
/r/MGTOW27/12/19 06:27 AM
6

Why even talk personal stuff with them?
/r/MGTOW27/12/19 06:25 AM
0

how can you tell?
/r/MGTOW27/12/19 05:49 AM
1

He wants to go somewhere that I went to the last couple years. If I go back then he might get upset because I didn't invite him (which would include her). I might have to think of someplace else to go, that they wouldn't want to go to lol.
/r/MGTOW26/12/19 05:32 PM
1

She is usually present when we get together but I will tell him if she is not around. He might think I have a problem with her. I don't. There are plenty of people I like but that doesn't mean I'd want to go on vacation with them.
/r/MGTOW26/12/19 05:30 PM
2

Yeah I'm not sure why he is wanting to bring me along. Maybe he is looking to save money (i.e. rental car) and wants me to drive them around. Heh. I get along with her well and we can enjoy each other's company in small doses, but all day together for several days at a time could get old. Then she'll pretend to be interested in what we are and then having to keep her entertained.
/r/MGTOW26/12/19 05:36 AM
1

I've spent enough time with them to know as they have been together for quite some time. They're a good fit for each other, but that doesn't mean I want to do the third wheel thing.
/r/MGTOW26/12/19 05:30 AM
1

Good idea, thanks
/r/MGTOW25/12/19 05:39 PM
2

Well, that's the media for ya. If it were up to them, it would be Biden or Warren nominated tomorrow.
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 07:51 PM
1

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss him, polls are fake news. :) But yeah, I doubt he stands much of a chance anyway. He could very well drop out soon!
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 07:06 PM
2

Good idea
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 06:44 PM
2

I thought it would stop eventually but it's not. There's no use trying to change anyone but I guess I do need to make it clear that I don't want to hear it.
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 06:44 PM
2

I am respectful but perhaps too respectful as I usually say nothing or ignore those comments. I see what you mean those, be assertive but not aggressive. > Never lie. Never get into a habit of lying. This subreddit frowns on women who lie so how better are you if you lie to your parents. Yeah, I can see this backfiring. If I lie and make up an excuse for leaving early and my dad finds out some other way (via my brother or whoever) about the other side's celebration then I look like an ass.
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 06:43 PM
1

Wow, fortunately I didn't deal with physical abuse like that. Can't blame you for cutting her off! Ridiculous how she got away with that after the way she treated you.
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 06:39 PM
1

you wont be rushed and will show up late to be there SOME, tell them that expecting more than that will suck ALL of the fucking joy out of the holidays because of the stress of running around for the sake of a goddamn pissing contest, and whosoever ruins your holiday can celebrate without you. I like this! I'm going to use it if it comes down to it. Thanks!
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 06:36 PM
1

I can certainly relate!
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 06:30 PM
1

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement, although I am far too old for child support to be an issue, which makes the situation more ridiculous. They've been divorced for over 10 years and still making these comments. I'm respectful but sometimes I think maybe too respectful.
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 06:24 PM
3

Interesting
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 05:54 AM
2

It's usually not a good idea to mix business and friendship. What are they jealous of?
/r/MGTOW24/12/19 05:51 AM

The main perk of being in a committed relationship over just fucking is ostensibly that you can be good friends, support each other, let your guard down, etc. Right. Plus you have a companion to eat out with, go places with, etc. The problem is that the more you do these things with her, the less attracted she will be to you and the less intensely she will want to fuck you. True. And intense fucking is required while the rest of those things are bonuses. That is assuming one values sex over comp…

https://www.shape.com.sg/food/how-avoid-sugar-spike-when-you-eat-white-rice/ White rice on its own is bad, as it can push up blood sugar or glucose significantly. Prof Henry said one of the first studies at the centre, which opened in 2014, looked at a local favourite: chicken rice. The study, published in t…

You will never get a promotion if they haven't got a replacement for you. Think about it. If you are as qualified and effective as you say you are, then if they promote you there will be a big hole left and if they can't fill it then you will not be promoted. Exactly. What OP complains of (work hard/smart/no promotion) is a very common phenomenon in this day and age.

Communication skills are fine. I think I'd rather be in a more specialized position than be in management anyway, at least at this place, since resources are scarce and pretty much everyone in the manager role has been miserable. Might be time to look around although it's tough changing jobs when you have been somewhere for over 10 years!
/r/MGTOW19/11/19 05:48 AM

What made you want to leave IT? I hear that many are forced out at that age due to ageism.... so even if one wants to stay in IT, they may not have much of a choice!

Maybe not but they'll ask him for money and favors.
/r/MGTOW18/11/19 04:38 PM

Ah so you left IT. Okay. I have thought about the same but haven't figured out what would be a good fit at my age. I cannot see anyone hiring a 40 something entry level Accountant, for example. Did you go back to school? I sometimes think about switching jobs but then it would probably be more of the same elsewhere, unless I were to specialize.

I am more of a jack of all trades. Perhaps I should specialize as another poster suggested and then look into pursuing this route. Thought about starting a "jack of all trades" IT services business, working with small businesses, but it looks to be a pain in the ass, from the research I've done.
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 06:14 PM
1

I have a similar degree and have thought about specializing. Software development is one of many things I do, perhaps I should move in that direction since that is my preference anyway. General IT support can be a PITA being pulled into so many different directions at once.
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 06:12 PM

Sounds like a good plan. Although if it's a big gathering, I think I'd just walk out of the room rather than leave. Why should I let her dictate how much time I spend with family? Of course if it's a small gathering then I can see GTFO. Basically half of life is working towards the exits from people's expectations.... Isn't that the truth!

I remember her making a cut down and I did not react at all, and then she said "I was just joking". It's almost as if she was trying to control my reaction. I'll keep taking the high road, but if she does cross a line, that seems like a good route to go.

Lol, talk about fighting fire with fire!
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 05:31 PM

I think that's the route I'll go, just avoid/ignore. That's pretty much what I do. It doesn't stop her bullshit but I've managed to not look like an ass. If that doesn't work then try some of these other options that are being suggested.
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 04:54 PM

/r/MGTOW17/11/19 04:38 PM
1

Duly noted. He's the one who married her and can deal with her controlling bullshit.
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 04:38 PM
1

Yep that would be setting a precedent for MORE ridiculous requests. I can't help but think this was a setup to get me to eventually babysit if/when they have kids. They go out and party and look to me to babysit (kinda like I did for my brother when we were kids when my parents would go out).
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 04:37 PM
1

They want you to snap at them so they can play the victim and treat you even shittier. Smile and nod and move the fuck on. Drives em crazy Makes sense! I could see her playing the victim. Perhaps that is her intent, maybe she is jealous for whatever reason and looking to make me look like the bad guy in front of others.
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 04:35 PM

she doesn't feel guilty about using you, so why do you feel bad about saying no? I don't. It's obvious she's trying to get me to do this babysitting so if/when they have kids then you know who she'll turn to for free babysitting. She has also insinuated hanging out (with her and my brother) but I don't know if she actually enjoys my company or just setting me up to use me for stuff. if she asks just say "sorry, I am busy", and if she asks why just say "personal reasons" And if she pries furthe…
/r/MGTOW17/11/19 03:58 AM

That's pretty much how I deal with it. Guess I'm on the right track. It's almost like she's tried to make me look like an ass in front of my own family. Are you referring to a spouse's family or your sibling's spouses? > Remember it's about power and utility. I figured that's the case if you're married to her but I'm not.

/r/MGTOW17/11/19 03:49 AM

No excuses or explanations? I remember her asking me questions about my work schedule and stuff, probably an attempt to figure out my daily routine to see what she can get out of me.

WELL SAID! That is a very accurate summary on online dating. I might have to try that experiment sometime. These thirsty fucks are just as pathetic, if not more so than the "lazy blobs of fat". :) Even the fat chicks are entitled and list a bunch of demands. It's a pathetic shit-show. For sure!

No, not talking about dating. I'm thinking more along the lines of people in the corporate world.

When I was on the dating sites, I would get bored out of my mind talking to them. Conversations would go like this: Me: What do you like to read? Her: Fantasy, mysteries. Me: What kind of music do you like? Her: Pretty much everything. They would rarely ask questions of their own unless it's to get some PI. And they all know every "hip" brewery or winery in town lol.

Oh, and the traveling. Fer eff's sake, the money they want to blow "traveling." It's amazing. Yeah WTF is the deal with that obsession? Go to a dating site and nearly all LOOOOOVE to travel.

Sounds like a great way to make a few extra bucks if you're qualified. I'm far removed from math and science courses in college tho. I have thought about teaching computer skills to senior citizens or something like that. Of course I might be able to help college students with computer courses. I had fellow students ask for help and try to copy my work in college, heh.

Interesting! Thanks for the suggestion . I have thought about the substitute teacher thing but don't think I would want to teach in a classroom. I wouldn't want to work with kids but tutoring college could be an option.

Thanks for the heads up on the book idea. And after all that work, there is very little chance of making a profit. it seems. It would have to be something that I enjoy so I could justify the time in the likely event that I make little or no money. I did pizza delivery for a few months, when I was in college, and enjoyed it. I put 100 miles on my car a day so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to add to the wear and tear. Perhaps I should go the software route since that is one of my main skills…

Ok, thanks for the idea I do have some relatives who are looking to get rid of stuff. One wants to sell on ebay but is technologically challenged.

I love video editing and that was one of my favorite classes in school. I have done some hobby editing (music videos). Haven't figured out how to monetize it though. That is good thinking to make money off of the blue pill world. So men complain on here about women getting preferential treatment in jobs. Maybe we should figure out how to make money off of them. :)

Excellent post! I've had similar experiences. It's amazing how blind and how programmed so many are. It's like they are unaware of and unable to rise above their basic instincts. Crazy how you have experienced this phenomenon numerous times. Great job confronting the asshole. What happened after that? Did he continue to fuck with you or unable to look you in the eye after that?

For the first time in almost 20 years, WWE has a serious competitor on the national scene. You'd think they might avoid the woke route. Their top woman's wrestler is a tranny. Ugh.

I disagree. It's the entertainment business in general that has declined since then. A much higher percentage of movies back then were better as well. There are very few movies that come out these days that I would bother going to the theater to see. There were some bad TV shows back then, I'll admit, but after seeing some dude posting the current shows on Netflix (most with a political agenda), it's safe to conclude that most new TV shows are garbage as well (at least IMO - people do pay to wat…

> They hold me back from what I want to do, and only see them as an obstacle. They don't give a shit about how I feel about this situation, and about many other topics, but somehow they care about wanting me to be safe? so that they can us me later, and tell me that they took care of me, so now I owe them something. This has happened in the family once someone becomes an adult, especially with males. How do they hold you back? Sounds like the are narcissists.
