It's pretty hard stuff man, I hope you can figure it out. What might be handy for you though is aim to make as many friends as possible. Treat each person as a not interested, but they'd be cool to have my back. It's great to have female (and male) friends that you're comfortable with and that they feel comfortable around you. Good points. Pretty similar to my comment below, but much better thought out and written. I'm pretty new to the self help scene. What books have you read? As for myself, I'm just completing Models:Honesty at the moment. Terrific book.

Be genuine first and foremost. You don't have to always have something to say. Pausing is your friend. When listening, maintain eye contact, listen to every word as if it's extremely important. Only speak once you've got an opinion. When starting out you can freak out and always want to come out with a quick reply or whitty comment. Stop. This is mind blowing! Wow! I've had a sudden and never before seen surge of girls actually into me in the past few months. Up until late last year my hobby was trying to get with a particular girl. After that didn't work out, I went into a huge crash. Right then I started my 7 weeks off at the end of the year and buried my sorrows by distracting myself in as many new hobbies as possible.
