It will almost certainly only get worse. Cut your losses now. Was it like this before marriage?

I agree. My STBX has never looked better in the 11 years I have know her than she does now. Seeing her get all dressed up for someone else is so damn tough to swallow when she hasn't done anything like that for me in more than 5 years.

Thanks for the chuckle. Nothing against her getting support from friends, just not the way I would ever go about it. I roll my eyes so hard when people post vague shit for attention seeking purposes.

Yeah, I can appreciate that. I don't know if I want to unfriend her tho. We have little ones and I want to see pictures she posts. Guess that's the price of admission. She'll work through it and the next batch in the future will be directed at some other poor schmuck. 😁

California is no fault. Start looking at State specific laws on alimony. Probably time to research/reach out to attorneys.

Curious as to why you say not to call the hotline?

I doubt ultimatums would help. I tried the same damn thing and my family pretty much ignored that. Maybe talk to them about why they give her the time of day let alone have coffee with her.

Though I'm now going thru divorce #2, I have the same thing with my first wife (we split back '09). My family still holds her in high regard for whatever reason. It sucked for the longest time and they never really seemed to like the now STBX. It got easier over the years. I have a pretty good relationship with my first ex-wife and she has been perfectly pleasant for the last 4-5 years of us co-parenting my 16 year-old son. Back when it was at the height of when I was the most angered by it, my …

Yeah been working out 5-6 days a week but mostly cardio. Trying to drop lbs quickly before I hit the weights, but I have been doing push-ups.

I was in the same boat about two years ago. In the end I realized that I just couldn't be there person she wanted me to be. I just delayed the inevitable. Ask yourself can you and do you want to be what she needs? Can you sustain that because you want to or just to not be divorced? Does she give you what you need?

I doubt your marriage is ending because you have a giant dick. What are you really asking here? If you are wondering if you should talk about it, then yes, talk to her. Maybe she's embarrassed to bring it up. Are you hoping to salvage what's left? Has she officially filed? Do you want to reconcile?

Thanks for the reply and words of encouragement. I know I'll get through it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
